  1. Increase revenue by making it free? How does that work? The more free quality of life features that get added, the more people are willing to spend their money on fashion. Good will begets good will. I disagree. People will continue to ask for free things once a company goes that route. GW2 is free and look now how many things players want for free.Then make it cheaper?

Regarding this, if the renegade falls into the water, the tablet will disappear, and when you move out of the water, you need to re-cast the tablet, but that doesn't bring it back, you have to also "de-activate" the tablet 1st, then "re-activate" it again, then manually move to the constantly jumpy boss face palm (1 of the skill that I wish they'd improve so it's less clunky to use).

Me & my CM group never fail Siren's reef, unless I run with a non-cm-pug group that day, but everytime we enter this particular fractal we would moans and complain the moment it was selected, even if it was just a rec. I just dislike cluster salad that doesn't have a clear phasing. Red circle on me must move away, the wind just happen to blown into the space I moved into, so I dodged but the boss saw me and also slam attacked me the split second after I dodged (plus whatever projetiles from the other mobs that also came in my way) - all of these were happen at the same time!!!! Ok after months of doing this fractal, I already knew how to dodge all of these, but everything of this fight especially with bad instab combo that day, was not a normal T4, it was a CM. I think they should relabel this fractal as a CM level. Bonus complain was the eyes that as wide as the corridor that follows you.

I did my 99 daily before reading the patch note and I was wondering why the phasing was very odd, not to mention I've already had my musle memory gotten ready with the corresponding rotation for the 2x break bars, so it was a weird situation with a string of quetion marks. Also the the CC for renegade on Ensolyss felt odd, it could be the 1-time thing because of the new phasing, or the team didn't use consumable, or other unknown reason, or may be... we were all just confused..... but during the1st break bar, the staff CC dealt less damage, usually the break bar would have at least taken more damages but today after I CC, it was only around 50%, and after the consummable it still didn't fully break it, or may be it did but the animation "faked" the real situaion. I don't think I'm making sense so I might need a few more days of observation so I can explain better XD May I know why the change was neccesary? It was fine the way before.
  6. I love the idea! The reason why I haven't make more than 1 legendary yet (it was the fractal backpack that I have), is because of the cost of making wouldn't improve any conveniece, which I I'd rather use multiple sets of ascended for diffrent builds so I don't have to transfer things and it's also cheaper. If the armory would provide this QoL, I'd finally be going all out to finish making the leg armor set (done all the required quests but do not have enough LI/p.token), and to continue grinding for Nevermore (my favourite weapon in the game). I'm very looking forward to this!

I don't have the stat but apparently a few youtuber stopped playing the game on the "loadout" release because the tripple monotization and it's clunkiness of the functionality has reduced convenience to the veteran players. So if they didn't quit, the people who watches their stream, watches the tutorial provided by them, watches how they praises the game (free advertisement), will bring in new players or keep the old players playing: some of those still-active players could have spent real money on gem cards to acquire cosmetics, other QoL like bank tabs, and etc...; If the veteran who teaches the game quit, there'd be less free advertisement to the game. That's what I think but I could be wrong. To answer the OP's question: I don't know either, I have predicted that they'd charge for it before the release, but the cost was far far exceeded what I was willing to pay for. It's not like I was expecting it to be free, but rather it's more like they're charging too much that has disappointed me. I wish they were cheaper and account wide, the tripple monetization was the reason why I still haven't spent a dime in this game ever since.

  9. If you can't use tonic in raid, you don't ask it to be removed from all other modes, you simply ask for it to be enabled in raid. Please don't give dev the idea to remove the fun out from my favorite fractal, my toon is big & distracting so I often use tiny tonic to make myself small so I don't bleed other people's eyes, see better among the visual clutter, I can walk properly on the very slim plank, or on that obnoxious harpy JP. On the other hand, you can use chair in raid but not fractal, but I did not ask for chair to be removed from all modes ?

Elementalist: I love range class, in other MMO, range mage (or range ranger) is my favourite, but this game is so weird that there's range attack but you can't even go range (melee stacking for buffs). Ele is also too squishy for doing fractal, not sure about now that I'm 10x better at that mode, but I started with that class & certainly did not have a good time until I changed to something else. They also nerfed it at one point to no longer being in meta, though it came back to meta later but I no longer desire to pick it up & learn this class's again with a different set of skills on a different weapon when it's still squishy, clunky (I'm referring to the need to pick up the 2x coujouring weapon from the ground god knows where it went under the cluster f), horrible to melee unless you have a godly reflex, and hard rotation (since it can be interupted easily by mechanics), plus it has no CC. It's like either you're really good at ele or you don't (imo), therefore she was sent to the flax farm permenantly. How about the gear/runes/cosmetic that I wasted on? Well at least now she can kill bats beautifully and efficiently at the flax. *I played fresh air tempest to be specific, but tried staff weaver after the change and didn't like it, I still think that ele as a whole just does not suit me, either that or I'm just too dumb to play this class :# +1 - Druid is the 2nd character I sent to the flax farm after the nerf, though it's still useful in raid, but I hardly raid so I will only undust her once in a very long time, but I've enjoyed using druid more than ele in fractal and since she got me so far in the hardcore game mode, she's still in a better possition than the ele I sent to the flax that I no longer use XD Thereofere I've regretted to create that elementalist but not druid.

I tried again in today's fractal, in almost every bosses, by the time I finally finished the warm-up phase, the rest of my party already did my job as a Renegade for me (CC), so I only spun for the circus show to celebrate my team's succesfulness in CC, not for contributing to the actual CC. If using consummable is far more reliable than using the actual skill for CC, then there's something wrong with Renegade. If this continues to be this bad, I'll either just drop playing Renegade, or just quit playing fractal altogether after I have acquired my fractal god (not too far off now). It's not just about the change in CC, it's the combination of things built up patch after patch from the introduction of new instabilities to Siren's reef to now (also I still haven't forgotten about the fact that druid being deleted off meta).

  13. I agree that the 0.5s lock is really bad, therefore I highly dislike the "warm-up" for SotM. I felt like my job as an AlacRene couldn't provide the CC as efficient as before, it's especially obvious in 99cm, Legendary Archdiviner in Cliffside, and any bosses which the CC bar that was only up for a very short time, thus by the time when I finally finished "channelling", the CC bar is already gone and the boss already launched the attack. I'm sure there are more cases to describe how inconvenient this is in PvE, if the mob's CC was instantaneous and still remained is after the patch, then why delayed the staff CC in PvE? Does it mean that we souldn't be bother using CC on those mobs? Also during the "warm-up" phase it felt like a lag, stood there to take extra damages, rather than I was preparing to CC, thus making the CC feels more clunky to execute overall. Since it's only the 2nd day after the changes, I can only provide those scenario that I've experienced. I would only hope that this change would revert to the way it was before.

  15. Like: Theme: I like the icy map, and the atmosphere setting throughout the story. Good stuffs. Kodan: I like that the story actually brought Kodan back, it's just a missed opportunity that they were just there briefly and were never participate in more parts of the story. OMG Aurene!!!!!! That was a surprise! Not only that she has grown, but the room was so pretty! I'd like to see more developement around Aurene and my character. Indifferent: Masteries: Just not a fan of masteries that is only useful on one single map. It felt like a time sink (for leveling them) instead of something being useful (like gliding/mount/autoloot). Edit: (wishful thinking) replace the mastery with build template slot unlock ;) Bjora JP: TBH I'm not a person who like any JP (also hate the Grothmar carry-torch JP with passion), I'm just horrible at them, but I gotta say doing the JP with mount on the 1st half the Bjora map made me like JP and I would repeat them if need be, but not a fan for the no-mount-zone-JP on the 2nd half of the map: they're easy enough for me, but with the mobs crippling me, having to jump on the very slim planks and once fell I'll have to find my way back up again and confused where should I continue (becuase of the multiple JPs in the same room), I'm not sure if I will repeat those no-mount-zone-JPs. Lodestones: Ok.... if the tier 3 weapons require them, at least made them a possible drop from playing on the map (like chest/event/map reward). Story duration: I like that the story is short, and all achivements can be completed by going over the story 1-time, but short doesn't mean the story should feel like it's rushed and thinned-out. You can still have a meaty story-line that pans out into few good episodes. The map is already broken into half, might aswell just tell the story in more details and make more episodes on the same map. Drakkar: To be fair, I actually like the boss, I just felt that the duration required to complete the meta is too long to my taste. May be it's just me but I prefer the duration to be cut by at least 1/3, if not I won't be seeing myself repeating the boss after I've done my achievement (and never want to attempt the rng reward because I was never lucky enough). Grindy achivement: not a fan of achivements that require players to grind x number of times though it doesn't bother me too much, I just prefer to be done with the map achievements within a reasonable amount of time then choose my own content to do after that. The thing about being too grindy is, it's easy to get sick of and not wanting to re-visit the map ever again because of the burnt out. IMO replayability shouldn't be forced upon, but it's about willingness to come back because the map offers meaningful reward. Dislike: Anything about Braham: Ever since he first appearance, I've never liked him and I'm very sad that how he's even more important now. His character was never developed for more heroic setting, he didn't mature enough to be justified as a person who will save the day. It felt like his name was dropped into a prize drawing box and he got picked to be a chosen one that way, and then he cluelessly accepted the role and became the "main character"?????? How long more do I have to tolerate Braham being everywhere I go? Hopefully the next episode is the place I say good bye to him. Mobs in the JP: they made me nervous that, I wasn't sure if I will run out of time by clearing the mob, or ignoring them and loss my focus on jumping. I think I was killed twice (in 2 different JPs) and got annoyed that I have to run all the way back again. Bangar's attack: How did I just got 1-shot that easily? Was my character that dumb and forgot how to dodge or lost the situation awareness? How did I get surrounded by few other characters who stood in front of me didn't see what was coming or even tried to protect me???? That was a big bow! If Bangar were to surprise attack me, he still needed few seconds to draw the bow and load the arrow, which made him obvious that he was going to do something and my ally and I should be on alert. IMO it'd be more convincing that my character got shot after a decent fight, or a sneakier attack, having to tank an arrow right in my face without any resistance is just doesn't feel right for a very experience commander who has been through a lot of battles. Also how did Bangar & Rylan just walked-off off the scene like that? I mean I thought Braham attacked them and they are unharmed??? Did Rytlock & Crecia not trying to stop Rylan at least? So many plot holes.
  16. I'm exiciting to see this! May I wish that a legendary armor set to be added to fractal? Please ;) As for raid, I wish that there's a practice mode for certain mechanics (such as the orb push) in the special forces training area, such that it's easier to train another player for important task. I say this as I always see that the people who already mastered this often get "jailed" on the same task.
  17. Which is something a lot of people has been asking but were still not addressed. I too want account-wide unlock - if I unlock 1 slot on 1 character, the other characters also gain 1 slot, so each character now has 4 slots (including the 3 default slots). If not, I refuse to buy any just like I won't unlock bag slot that only unlock on 1 character but not the whole account.
  18. This resonates with me so much! Everything you said is exactly what I thought... Like what I've said in my feedback, I wasn't even a veteran player, but I've met people who would teach me how to raid (training), teach me how to use more builds in different situations, but yet the tripple monetization with the character-bound unlock and the clunkiness of the system makes me sad. I wanted to use the system more but the cost has prevented me from acquiring any... Like... some of the builds not only would use slightly different traits, but also would exchange few pieces of gear for example into a tankier build, therefore I'd need 1 build template + 1 gear template for that build, that's like 300 + 500 = 800 gems, how does it even make sense for that price? It really should be "half that price" AND "account-wide unlock" for "BOTH build + gear" and unlock up to 10-20 templates. Not only how much it cost, but it was also the character-bound unlock that has stopped me from progressing further into as in to broaden my build selection. I'm supposed I can really buy more character slot if I really need to, but then wouldn't it defeats the existance of the build template? Doesn't it want more players to be willing to buy more slots/use the system that you've spend so much time and efford to create? Wouldn't a reasonable price and a reasonable option (such as account wide unlock & charge only 1-way but not split into 3-ways) attract more players to actually buy them?

As a person who never used the arc-template, I certainly do not have what others have exprienced as a big downgrade from arc, but I do feel that the current system is not really helpful even if it's the first time for me to use a template. I'm in between casual and hardcore. I don't raid like others, but I do fractals regularly, and enjoy mostly casual content, that means I don't really need more than 2 builds on each character (in most cases I just use a new character slot for different purpose); however, being a hardcore-casual like me have met veterians, I was being encouraged to start raiding, start doing fractal CM, it's the vets who played many builds taught me how to improve my playing style, and I've begun to understand the boons/class skills/mechanics and all that, I was even encouraged to try a different build, therefore I really wish the game cater for vets so they can play around with builds and later teach players like me (who is absolutely too dumb to play the game) , and it's the vet who has the ability to convert the casual to the hardcore, like how I was converted. What I find flaws in the current system is that: Having loadout & template separated makes the system so clunky - personally I've never used the loadout at all (tested it once may be), because there's no need for me share builds to a different character on the same account, and if I need to grab a new build from the website, I can just copy the link and paste it directly to the template itself, but I must praise that sharing builds is a great idea; however I do have a "thought" to improve it and it's drafted, but the basic idea was to scratch the tabs on the right hand side, and be able to do everything on the left panel. The heavy monetization were the biggest problem/mistake - prior to the launch, I was planning to get a few gem cards to prepare for this launch, just at that time the local store doen't sell it (luckily), or I'll be hugely disappointed. I once joked about the template would be like 400 gems each, my team disagreed on me, they thought I was crazy to predict that Anet to charge on template, or even charge that much if it were to monetized, but I was sad to found out that I was right..... and it was taken to the next level: tripple monetization with each function cost a premium. I'm new to the raid and was already asked to make different builds for different situation and bosses, but since the gear/build templates charged a premium and the upgrade were only character-bound, I feel no incentive to buy more slot, nor to make a different build (with different gear set). I just lost my motivation to experience different things on the same class for raid (and I'm only just started). I wish the gear/build templates were only charged once (but not twice nor thrice), 100 gems each (and be able to buy up to 10-20 slots), and better yet, account-wide unlock if you plan to charge more. Character/soul-bound unlock for gear/build templates were a mistake - well-done on the gear tabs that clears up the bag slot, just unfortunately I never liked any soul-bound unlock, just like I'd rather pay more for a 32-slot bag so that I can later transfer it to a different character, I'd never ever pay for any soul-bound bag slot unlock. The reason is that if after I've spent the money, time and effort on a character , incomes a huge nerf patch few months later and made the said character no longer viable in the game mode that I play anymore, it'd be a huge waste. Please make soul-bound unlock account-bound instead, or it'll be the same situation as bag-slot, that I'll never want to unlock any if it's soul-bound. The free templates weren't really free - in shorts, they were taken from PVP/WVW/PVE that existed in the game, I'm sure I don't need to explain how inconvenient it is to have the automatic switch-over got taken off. There are only 2 gear tabs for 3 templates... - yes you can buy the 3rd, but keep in mind that each game mode/build uses different gear/weapon combo, 2 gear tabs for 3 templates doesn't really work, it'd be great if there's 1 more free gear tab. I've never used legendary therefore I cannot comment on that. I hope my feedback will be taken into consideration, because not all but like many others we all felt the same the same way. I'll be happy to unlock more template slots but not at the current price.... Account-wide would be more reasonable. Holiday is coming up, I wish everyone here Merry Christmas.
  21. I've tried with all my usual farming spots with the "Glyph of the Crucible" just like any other day, none of them drop any varietal seed anymore. I hope this is just a bug because I want to use ascended food for my healer.
  22. I like things that are cute but not the new TP Lion. If they have to move the icon to the position that is more in my face, at least use the cooler one that is more eye-pleasing to look at. The old one is good drawing, gives the feel of a successful corporation that has been around for a long time that can be trusted.The new one is like -----> "?????????????????", like a store that suddenly popped up randomly that sell flimsy toys and will be closed down in 2 years.
  23. You mean, if i log onto the map which not on rotation, then there won't be daily??? This change doesn't make sense, I mean, why don't they just double the reward for the map in rotation instead of nerfing the dailies on other map. Because I do find myself jumping in between maps if i get bored of the other 1, or I just have to go to 1 specific map consecutively everyday for things.
  24. Leaves No Hero Behind - I remember that the 1st time I saw this title I had a laugh, I don't know why but I found it funny. It's probably because I thought it was a perfect title for the healer. Other than that I love "Deer commander" (it cute), and "Salty Sea Dog" (it fitted my friend who had the title on so much that I found it amusing).
  25. I too was looking for gem cards in EB games and was told with an ambiguous answer: "we don't even know weather it'll be back in stock or not, come back in a few weeks to check". I did, for a few times, but never available. I used to receive gem cards from friends and family, or buy some myself, for my birthday and Christmas. It's sad that now I can't do that anymore :'(
