Thief, Necro, Ele, Rev (Has to have a target), Guard (Has to have a target), Mes... (Don't think i'm missing any) can all teleport or shadowstep (Whichever term you prefer) up/through cliffs, not just Thieves. Thieves are generally a get in and then GTFO playstyle class because if you can actually pin one, they're squishy. Necro has plenty of AoE/pressure skills and conditions to be able to deal with a Thief but if said Thief wants to get away from you, not much your going to be able to do about it...

Stacking is also an essential part of the "team-play" due to how the fight mechanics/system works - as well as damage mitigation, you have also have boons/buffs that are AoE and only affect up to usually 600 range so if you're outside that range, you might as well be playing a build that's fit for personal perseverance (Aka a roaming build) rather than for group play (Support classes/builds). The other issue is that GW2 was designed to NOT have a Holy Trinity system but then that system has actually been designed in over the years and expansions to the point where the game now has one. Yes, classes had a more specific role even back then even in Vanilla, however it was a lot more forgiving with what/how you COULD play, not what/how you NEED to play.

A general time of play would help with suggestions - if you only play in the mornings (EU time) then quite possibly join a German server (Or their link), if you only play during prime time hours then go with what Riba (Threather) has mentioned, if you play during the middle of the night (Spanish) then Baruch Bay would be a really good shout, if you play in the middle of the day then it's very hit and miss for Commanders on every server, it really depends on the MU's half the time.

Huh, how did I never notice this in my years of playing the game mode? All Sentries and Keep Lords are Charr, all Tower and Camp Lords are Sylvari. With the exception of Desert BL where the Towers and Keep Lords vary.

Always move on a Friday, before the reset otherwise you have to wait 1 full MU week + however many days when you first transfered.

...Said who?Almost every commander I know is complaining and hates it. "It's not a problem" is mostly just because scrapper exists in its current state. I still don't understand the resistance to removing dire/TB gear. It'd make condi bunkers way less durable and less-appealing to run with how selfish their defenses are while normalizing small-scale, because power coefficients are too low to effectively kill off these builds as a whole. He said 'organised' not pug Comms. On a more serious answer, the organised groups who don't have issues with it are the guilds that run a Tempest and Scrapper in every party and cleanse the conditions before they even tick...

If it is released with the expansion, it won’t be purchasable. It won’t change who can access WvW. Kinda like people were saying that they wouldn't lock WvW items like shield gens etc behind a pay wall....Oh, wait.... Oh I don’t doubt they will have items to add to WvW that will require the expac. But alliances won’t be one of them. Unless they are going to banish non expac players to EoTM.. Which I guess they could do lol.Stop giving them ideas you mad man/woman/Apache Helicopter!

Alliances are coming with Expansion 3 as a 'added feature to WvW', change my mind.
