I have played hundreds of them.. Earlier in my life i played literally hundreds of MMORPGs.. From Anarchy Online, Lotro, TSW and its later version, Rf Online, Runes of magic to Rohan, Rift, Wildstar, Multiple Everquest, Perfect world and more even random ones that no longer exist anymore.. The only big names i never played was WoW and runescape. I did raid in some of them.. Some were just so expensive to raid in it wasn't possible.

The issue with horizontal grind is the devs seem to run out of ideas to add to it. or as we are seeing they make everything extremely tedious to get anything better.. or even to advance a character e.g EoD masteries..

Yes i have. Guildwars 2 was awesome to me until Southsun released then after that things started to go down hill fast. Another mmo i truely loved was Allods online until after release when they literally destroyed the game. Some games bothers you right at the start and you leave.

I think Vayne by now you'd guess we have very different likes.

The problem is the maps player limits got lowered in EoD so it feels dead.

Its too big and too ugly.. They had a perfect opportunity to blow it up in the story and redo it but mai saved everyone which was a shame imo. Rata Sum was the best made city..

It is fact, you try a new game and something irks you or you have a bad experience you are highly likely to drop said new game because you aren't invested in it yet.. especially if your friend asked you to play and you aren't even sure you care about it.

It only takes one bad experience to ruin a new game for someone. Anet should seriously take note of that.

Skins i believe are just skins, they change the visual look etc but the damage is only on the original weapon, skins do not change that.

Pointless they spend all those resources on a jadebot when Rangers, Necro and Engis have been screaming for years for new skins for the class Pets and turrets yet they reskin a jadebot that you only see at best for 5 secs in game.. 👎

Please let the turtle driver use the cannons when no co pilot is there, literally they are useless without one..

At least in vertical grind you somewhat feel like you've achieved something.. This is just boring after level 80.

It doesn't take rocket science to see warriors are in a terrible state..

Technically it has sails.. Seriously its a boat.. Boats move along the water.

Playable Stone Dwarves and Skritt (Skritt skills revolve around adding more skritt into combat), Skins for Engi turrets and Mechs, Skins for Ranger pets and Necro pets.. And an Exapansion to add story to it all. DO IT ANET!!!!!1 Take my Money 😍

So its fabricated in joons workshop and then arrives in boxes then Engis just put it together with instructions, i see now.

Where is its engine, and how does it get powered? I mean do the tree roots flick or something

Sorry mate its terrible design its always been terrible design.. Its something you will come to understand.. Ignore hot until you get most of your mounts and the glider upgrades (which sadly need Hot to master) even with all that its still a most horrible place to play in.. Tedious.. frustrating and annoying. Not difficult till the real last few.. I would have preferred vertical over that grind..

That Giant in dry top... I gave up even attempting it. Sol Eater just breaks and goes permanently invulnerable.. Anet do not care its not cash shop based.. Everyone stands around waiting for skritt queens quartz, no one even bothers with the giant even on Dry top daily events...😂

It ended with the last Potato.

How can it be custom made when its identical to the one in Joons workshop, you see it at the end of the mission before the floors swallow it up.
