Why do Commanders need to be cool, they need to lead and help people, this is not a way to make money.. If you can't lead or don't know what you are doing don't commander up.. also don't waste 300gold and use mentor if you really need to show people where you are or want to lead some events.. Its what i do.

Yes the name stayed the same but the loot from them became standard Buried treasure loot.. the same as if you search without the event. And how was the loot results unchanged? for me it was very low. like standard chest loot.

The Search for Buried Treasure You probably have a stack of unused treasure hunting kits. Check /wiki et for the next Search for Buried Treasure in Desert Highlands and just do the event. It is 100% the most underrated meta event in the game. Bring a high mobility build and avoid combat so you can teleport freely. 1 chest per minute is easily attainable, for a minimum of 20 chests total. (Works best on a highly populated map with other players uncovering chests.) The main prize is Stories of the Great Zehtuka, which offers a choice of ascended Harrier armor recipes. Some of the recipes insta-sell for 40g, or can be listed for 100g+. Despite the recipe book being the most expensive drop you can get, the drop itself is actually not very rare. I once received two recipe books from the same event. Just a heads up after getting the chests open them before you change servers, for me changing servers made them lose superior status.. and just gave me trash.

To find out about professions, read the latest nerfs and whine a bit about how Anet ruin their game time and time again.. I do like to see the same old forum people attack new people with troubles when they come to the forums for help or complaints.. its almost daily clockwork haha. Plus i love the confused emote.

I disagree, getting better gear doesn't always automatically mean you are better at the game, even in vertical progression, you still need to know how to play.. Also enemies tend to get tougher.

It sounds to me like the new fiber is being rerouted a different way than the old DSL was but in worse areas so hence the higher ping.. op you need to do some testing and ring your new ISP.

I wouldn't have bought it at 1gem but 1600 is pretty funny.. I would pay 1600gems on new ranger pet skins pack or necro minion skins pack.. even a new less ugly mechanist bot..

I do, not creative at all but something to strive for, the things to strive for here are meaningless like Mastery's for a siege turtle or a bank and shops.. i mean seriously how is that fun to chase... Fractal and Skyscale grind was some how better to you than more levels and better gear in a standard mmo?

I just delete old builds.. they are usually out of date and no longer work very well anyway.. and mechanist is better than anything else in the game right now bar nothing.. But on saying that i agree i don't like the build gear template design either, it literally destroyed choice and freedom of specs..

Ping wont change on any internet type because you are in the same physical area.. Ping is your house to the servers and back again.. Me being in Australia my Ping is at best 250 milliseconds to and from the server.. nothing will ever change that unless servers move or i move.. my real GW2 ping is more like 260ms-280ms.. daily.. Even a change of faster server nodes wont change it..

Fixed an issue that prevented the Stomping Around siege turtle collection from unlocking properly when players acquired a turtle egg. Players who were unable to unlock the collection previously will need to obtain another egg to progress. Its not possible to obtain a second egg on an account thats completed it is it?
