True but it does say maybe used, not required. Also i'd follow a youtuber that did this mostly to see how they feel starting from scratch 9 years later.

There is no chance they will do that. Its too hardcore for youtubers. I still manually loot everything to this day because i cannot find the masteries to finish the legendary mastery and the pact mastery. They are free to play.

If you knew how internet works you'd know the distance is the ms ping not the pc, i'm in Australia no amount of Hardware will lower the ping time to the US servers.. And my pc runs GW2 fine.

Try playing with a 250-300ms ping time and dodge things then get back to me about what hardcore content is. Unless you have 28 characters. even 6-8 mains is an issue No Anet should either make it easier to get or lower the price to Power prices..

I don't even farm gold i just buy gems. the rest is the same though, i just do story stuff then take breaks until new story stuff.

Apparently the developers have never once gone fishing in real life.. Fishing is suppose to be a relaxing casual experience, not whatever this is.

Core tyria needs overhauls. The hero points need to give 5 points not 1. that would bring customers back to tyria. They need more events that bring newer customers into line with post 80s good exotic rewards even if they are basic skill sets. better loot drops for new customers dyes and gears not useless stuff they cannot use. Boost gold values as well for new customers so at 80 they can afford and unlock at least two specs worth of gear. Add rental mounts to all the core tyria maps and have all the mounts as rentals to give new customers incentives to buy the expacs.

This DE event really shows how much the developers are out of sync with their in game communities.. When you hide in only these forums and on twitter and ignore the other less bias avenues of discourse about the game this is what happens.

You meta people are crazy.. You have to ruin the game more and more.. I miss tyria where everything was base casual and fun. I just finished Icebrood completely solo, my hands hurts from all the twitch mechanics the devs throw at us these days, the upkeep on boons and skills is over the top. Again when is enough enough for you people.....

Casual is the average player. avoids hard core content like HoT and Pof, cannot pass many of the living stories solo, doesn't have many achievements, hangs out in LA or DR and plays in Tyria only.. Does the odd meta event if forced.

Yes i have the links go no where anymore because Anet removed where they said it. So people assume its for builds because colin said that in a post. The original 2011 dev announcement video has been secretly removed, i can no longer find it..

Customers haven't forgotten though. The original comment came from an early announcement trailer just before guildwars 2 released with a female dev stating you can play guildwars 2 anyway you want.. I believe its been deleted

Which is why 90% of the rest of us avoid them. Harder content is not fun for the majority.
