  1. Blood most likely won't go down an dark path. Its most likely just Bangar. My guess is that Cercia will replace Bangar as blood imperator, and Rytlock will later do something in the story that will make him Khan-Ur.Or Crecia ends up in charge of Flame Legion due to her heritage and the trust Blood has in her, and Rytlock ends up becoming the new Blood Legion Imperator. Would be a way to "write him off" if they feel he needs to take a back seat from the main cast for a while. Not to mention Smodur feels more like Khan-Ur material, due to his ability to play the political field to his advantage.
  2. Definitely yes. Give us that old EotN hill as our character log-in screen this Saga, it'd be absolutely perfect (with the right dose of nostalgia).
  3. From the way it's looking, the alliance is who I thought.
  4. She sounded a little like the old VA, but at the same time didn't. New direction for the voice maybe?
  5. Won't happen. Just use your headcanon for your character's lore.
  6. I remember these complaints from as far back as 2015. The problem with Retal is how the return damage is done and the duration. If it does small damage returns, it punishes multiple hit moves like it does now. If it goes for % of damage taken returned, it becomes too powerful because heavy hitters will take more damage than the multi-hitters. It's easy to increase the duration of it, so it can persist for long periods of time. They'd have to change the effect of it for it to be balanced out, like maybe to a stack system like Stability, where it only counters 1 attack per stack (max 25 stacks). That means it's still useful in reflecting damage, but it's not infinite. So heavy zerg fighting would eat through the retal quick, but it'd still have its use for hurting enemy attackers.
  7. The fact that I'm not playing solely this game. I'm bouncing around between this, FFXIV, and Fire Emblem: Three Houses. You'll burn out if you only play this game all the time.
  8. The Blazing Light. Did this way back during LS1, and it took me a full week of changing setups and fighting Liadri while "gitting gud" to win and get this title. To this day I still hold it as a testament to how much I improved over the course of a single week.
  9. Eh, that just makes it feel more like a real magazine, heh. Also some of them are fake ads that are hilarious!Especially the obvious fanfic of LoganxRytlock, that one had me dying.
  10. Quite a bit of this is interesting, but especially the character info. Jhavi is apparently a Vigil leader, Rytlock will once again cause the events to unfold, Braham will be feeling backlash from his actions and subsequent failure to destroy Jormag, and Crecia has Flame Legion heritage.
  11. More weapons. Put that underwater Spear on land please! And give us some cestus for fist fighting!
  12. After seeing what was posted on twitter today I think the answer is:It's a festival Map.Minigames and a story snippet is the best we are getting. The Strike mission is probably not unlike "Secret Lair of the Snowmen" in terms of scope or difficulty. In fact I doubt this whole release will have the same amount of content as this year's Dragon Bash. I hope I am wrong but I strongly believe I am not, and this will be the first time in a very long time I have felt let down by Arenanet. If I then have to wait 3-4 months for Ep1?Not good. Again, I do hope I am wrong. The strong content delivery starting about halfway through s3 all the way to s4.6 (with the exception of Long Live the Lich) earned a LOT of goodwill from me.But the unanswered questions from the reveal on friday and the twitter video today has me really wondering. To make you feel better, you know Living Story Season 2? Its prologue was essentially the Festival of Four Winds. When the Festival started 2 weeks prior, there were hints of things to come. Right when the Festival ended...bam, the LS chapters started with the crash of the airships from the festival. Expect something on the lines of that, where this "festival" will be here for a bit...and then get wrecked by the first chapter of the IS.
  13. Uhu. And how would the small minority of toxic posts "make it nearly impossible to find the constructive ones"?Have you looked at the GW2 Reddit? If you have any differing opinion, you get downvoted into the negative. If you point out a flaw in an idea, you'll get downvoted into the negatives. From the last few days alone, if you push out any kind of positivity, you'll get downvoted into the negative. It's very easy on that subreddit for constructive commentary, or any that doesn't fit the Anet hating circlejerk they have going currently, to be downvoted heavily, while the negative commentary gets heavily upvoted. It's a very toxic place, and the one place you'll find it nearly impossible to find constructive commentary, simply because it doesn't fit the negativity echo chamber they have going there.
  14. It's most likely going to be similar to Dry Top and Silverwastes in terms of map changing. Only a part of the Dry Top map was available originally, the portion from the entrance to the town and up on the area near it. You couldn't go through the town to the higher part of the region originally, and the town had no vines and had a lot of townspeople living there. Next chapter of the LS hit, and suddenly vines had taken over, NPCs were permanently dead, and we could suddenly go up to the next region. Expect things like that, where only the new maps change over time. It's far easier to code and will probably be better in the long run, since they could extend this to all future maps.
