Luck was added to the game in 2013, when MF became account-wide. It has functioned in the same way ever since it was added.

The actual skin item is a one time use only item that basically acts as a free use of the skin (meaning it won't charge you a transmutation charge to use it that one time). Once you've used the skin, the appearance itself unlocks for your entire account to use as many times as you want. You'll just have to use a transmutation charge to apply the skin each time you use it. And no, you don't have to remove anything to change to a different skin. You'll just go to your Wardrobe tab, click on the weapon you want to dress up, choose the skin you want to use, and then apply it.

Yes, it works on any part of that step. Just make sure you're standing close to where that particular objective is so the treat applies to that one.

Unfortunately, I think these are both bugs that have been around since PoF came out. For "The Whole Story," the trick is to make sure you do not leave (or really move at all) each area until the spirit npcs disappear. And then for the final one, do not go past the stairs where Balthazar is standing. As for the other bug, I had it happen to me once, but replaying the story step a second time went fine. So I'm not sure how to get past it, other than with a friend again.

Of course errors happen. Everyone has had the game crash on them. I'm pretty sure everyone has had rollbacks happen. But you are literally the only person I have ever heard of who has said their Luck reset at all, let alone 7 times. You also originally said your Luck reset, not your Magic Find. I know you're going to swear up and down that it happened, but it really just does not sound like that is the case here. It sounds like pure misunderstanding or misremembering. And I've been playing for nearly 12 years now. I have absolutely zero memory of any game-wide hacking incident where everyone got 100 gold from hackers.

Nope. I just went there, ran out and around Amnoon for a little bit, ran back to the Lily of the Elon, and was able to use the Previous Map option.

I believe it's still bugged. But you can cheese it by using mounts to either springer jump/leap of faith onto the chest area, or you can use a mount to get on one of the tall roots next to the chest area and glide over to it.

1. World bosses (when they're not bugged) don't die so quickly that you can't get enough hits in for credit. 2. Magic Find does not affect what you get from the bags you got as rewards. 3. Luck does not and has not ever reset. It sounds like you misunderstood how to read the Luck Bar. As you consume the essences of luck, the bar fills up. Once the bar is full, your account Magic Find increases 1%, and the Luck Bar goes back to zero. You then repeat it until you reach max Magic Find.

The old GW2 merch store did have a small Aurene plush, with magnets in the front feet so you could attach it to things. I got one for my kid when the store was purging all of its inventory.

That's just RNG, not anyone's drop rate being any more messed up than someone else's.

Map resets only happen when a patch (either a bug fix that requires a download or a content update) goes in. Otherwise, map instances will remain open until they are completely empty or until enough players show up to make it create a new instance of the map.

Yeah, but that's obviously not enough. The video shows what that particular player did with the conditions they were in at that time. You have to account for your own conditions (latency, how your computer runs the game, ability, etc.). Also, not all guides will be helpful to everyone. It sometimes helps to look at a few different ones, inbetween practicing and learning the mechanics. You do have my sympathy. It took me quite a few tries to get silver on that one, and then way more to get gold. It was frustrating. But it is doable.

Correct. Like I said, the roller beetle does require you to be on Tactical Triage to start the collection. But once it's unlocked, you can do and finish the collections without being in any story instance.

You have to start the Roller Beetle collection during the Tactical Triage step of Long Live the Lich. Once you've unlocked it, you can come back to it whenever you want, regardless of where you are in the story. Edit: Griffon requires full completion of the Path of Fire story. Once you finish the last part of the story, it'll allow your character to follow the steps to start the griffon collection. You can do it as you go, without needing to be on certain story steps. Skyscale also requires doing a certain story step (of either season 4 or SOTO) to unlock access to the collections, but you don't have to be on particular story steps to finish the collections.

Well, it'll depend on what class you play and what spec you prefer to use. If you play more of a power build, you'll want something that gives you extra damage, like a Superior Sigil of Force. If you play more of a conditions build, you'll want something that will increase your condition effects, like Superior Sigil of Malice or Bursting. You can also put infusions into the weapon. Since you're not doing Fractals yet, you could just grab an infusion from a Laurel vendor or in wvw to put in there, or you can buy Agony Infusions off of the TP. Or you could just leave it empty, and then buy a better infusion with fractal relics if you decide to do Fractals. As a side note, don't let Fractals intimidate you too much. There are good general guides on the wiki, and there are lots of videos out there. Read up on them a bit, and then just give a tier 1 group a try.

The ascended drop is weird, since the wiki doesn't even list random mob drops as a method of acquisition for ascended gear. I mean, they can drop from champ loot boxes, but as far as I know they haven't ever dropped from random mobs. And MF hasn't affected unidentified gear since 2019.
