Im only 30 and i feel this way. Ive done the number thing to be top dps. I play more relaxed now, and try to find lower intensity builds.

In GW1 everyone had to type /resign. You did not get a notification who resigned and who not. If even one party member didnt resign, the match kept going. Not saying its a perfect solution and it still wont protect against trolls, but it could at least put an end to those landslide losses against a top duo where you just wait for the end.

You just need the /resign option from gw1.

Hard agree. I understand Arenanet wants people to dip their toes in WvW and hace nothing against it but there is no reason you cant get a GoB in sPvP. Or make it back for purchase atleast with badges of honor (even after 'unlocking' it after 1 track to ensure people tried the mode). Or make it tradeable on the TP. So many options. I dont like WvW but i grinded out Conflux and accumulated a few extra GoB so im good for now but there is no reason to not make it more accessible.

The rules are the same for every player. Nothing is stopping you from putting an effort in finding a team/friends aswell and putting thought in your team comp. You choose to play with a handicap.

Atleast there wont be a content drought like now. I like a higher cadence. Releases might be more consistent too.

Honestly the GoB isnt an issue for the ring. You need Skirmish Tickets. You'll get more than enough GoB along the way while gathering those haha. Im not a big wvw player but i decided to get me a Conflux and honestly it wasnt that bad. Started following a commander, set up a wvw build, joined a discord and rolled with it. I had a great time. I rarely play wvw nowadays but its really not that bad, just have to give it an honest chance. I still have a few spare GoB in my bank from when i played for the ring.

I feel the same OP. Taking a long break from sPvP and im not sure ill ever return. I just get mentally drained playing sPvP lately and a game is supposed to be relaxing, not frustrating. Im playing more pve and other games now. Its a shame cause i really like the combat in this game.

Just make it so when the engi is down he cant use his F skills. They should do that for rangers too. For the rest mech is fine.

It has a place imho. Gives a unique flavor to GW2 pvp but it has to be reworked for sure. Maybe give everyone the same downed skills in pvp cause rangers have it much better than for example thieves. Do one rally per kill and invoke a penalty when you have been revived or rallied.

Not only in unranked. A real life emergency or situation can come in any moment and its usually unexpected.

I recently tried out warrior again and im having more fun than on my ranger. I think warrior is fine, but some other specs are just overtuned.

I like it. I wish more humanoid enemies had to be 'finished'. This way you can use your finishers outside pvp and wvw and they could even add some finishers for fashion reasons.

Necromancers now get a third shroud. In these shrouds they do 200%dmg and get a 90% incoming damage reduction. Guardians now get aegis every second. No more map selection. It somehow always end on Djinns Dominion.

Ranked gives way better rewards so go ranked. A bronze player gets the same pips as a platinum one. Rating matters very little. If you are someone who is easily bothered by toxic behavior, turn off chat /set yourself offline/learn how to use the block function. Dont be scared though, not every pvp player is toxic. But chances are big you will run into them.

To be honest i feel the same. I finished the story, explored the maps and did everything atleast once. For me personally it was the least expansion of all 3. Id give a 4/10 in total. Points earned cause maps are pretty.

I dont mind playing only unranked as long as i can play with my friend(s) or relatives but i want the same rewards as ranked then(pips). Otherwise me and some other people would surely leave pvp. Whether i queue alone or with friends i have the same rating, im just gold 2-3. Not everyone abuses the system, we just want to have some fun together and enjoy the rewards. Or if unranked wont get pips, how about only solo queue once you reach a certain rating? Lets say gold 3 or plat 1 for instance? Would that help? Or no duo if your rating difference exceeds 100? Just thinking here

Its too easy to play. I understand OP. Whenever i play necro i feel like i abuse the game or something. They really need a reality check. And yes i feel the same (or even worse) about guardians.
