It's the shadows. Ultra shadows crashes the game, for some reason. Set shadows to high or lower temporary until fix.

Also simply turning around works too 👍

What if these "bugs" are not bugs in how the skills work - but simply in description? 🤔

GW2 (or actually the ArenaNet overall, as it includes GW1 too) helped me with my business philosophy. I run few info-product websites (blog, courses, ebooks) and for long time I used to remake everything every half a year or so - like some game developers do (hint, hint, Blizzard). But only after playing GW2 and then later GW1 it came upon me that I can, well, instead of keep remaking everything - just add more. This way some of my content becomes old over time, but if I create it with a mind of "how will this connect to everything else? will this still be used after X years?", the age doesn't show that bad. And on top of that, just adding more and more of different stuff = customers are free to choose, it's not like some older stuff was removed because "it's not new anymore". I like Anet developement philosophy. It made both my business better and me myself calmer that I don't need to constantly re-do everything 🙂

Why not? Same with gliding - there wasn't reason to have it, until there was, the game changed, new encounters started to use gliding. But yes, we already have the grappling hook/vine mastery, it should just be more available in more maps.

Lord Faren should be Abbadon 2.0, obviously... All those secrets and mysteries... Everyone knows that Lord Faren is the mysterious E.!

By the way, another way of avoiding this issue would be using some low intensity build (theres guides on Mukluk website, for example) - some of them are mostly autoattack, so no need to press skills at all. Helpful for many people, including me 🙂

Dunno, for me the pillows look more natural than the Vermilion thrones... At least the pillows have the small details like BLTC label, small stiches, natural looking fur...

You see, people of Tyria don't like having fun - no silly magic tricks, no plushies! Also no maids and other service personnel as there are no rich people in Tyria! Everything that is not core game is bad and breaks the aesthetic!

Well that's what I agree with. Weapons like Eternity and most of black lion weapon skins make no sense at all - they don't have a place in a realistic game like gw2 👍

I agree. Anet should also delete all huge greatswords that look like paddles too. And every armor with spikes. And mounts too, because it's not realistic that they just appear out of nowhere. Where do the mounts hide? In out pockets!? Do the mounts follow us few meters off screen? Argh, my immersion is ruined!

The collections nowaday are worth not for the precursor, but for AP and adventure/fun you can get. It's not for every person though, so you are not forced to do the collections.

That was a bug.

The worst thing about non-WvW open world PVP is... it doesn't have a purpose. At least in games like EVE or Albion you get your enemy items and gold as loot... At least in WvW and PvP game modes here you have clear objectives - capture the point, capture the castle, etc... But what's the incentive to PvP in trully open world? Games like New World and WoW, that have "enable PvP mode and get +X% more stuff" just prove that gamers choose to enable the mode and ignore every enemy and/or escape from them rather fighting. Getting the extra loot without true combat. Just random senseless ganking on unsuspecting players. I guess there is a "I want to pwn noobz" factor, but it doesn't translate to real combat or even fun gameplay.
