I think both EMP and flying mounts (especially Skyscale) were a mistake. I'd even say mounts as a whole were a mistake but they're in every games nowadays anyway...

Some would complain, that is what some people will do anyway (we have a nice example on this very thread). The same way people complain about the Skimirsh Claim Tickets and PIP reward system. Most would gladly start working on it now that they finally have the option. Including some of those who were against it in the first place, if they add new legendary skins. Also, I'm not sure how a Gift of Dedication can compare to a Gift of Exploration.

They wouldn't have to, he makes up any "argument" possible along the way because he is against the idea.

I don't like her either but I almost don't like anyone in the cast anyway, except maybe for Eir and Canach, before he became a gambler. (I'll love Tybalt forever though.)

Don't bother, the same people say the same things without even reading what people have to say on each and every thread regarding this subject (and others) until it gets closed. This is why I bothered reacting to this one because I'm tired of these gatekeepers with no reading comprehension but I'd rather not waste my time anymore, nothing good will come out of conversations like these.

I guess that's why you can get legendary armors in PvP where you... don't use armors, makes sense. PvP and WvW are so hard and challenging content, indeed. Aurora, Vision and Prismatic Champion Regalia are not legendaries either, then? The idea of the OP with world bosses giving tokens for legendary armor is too limited and easy but everyone knows, including raiders, that if they ever add open-world legendary armors they would make it grindy and require playing most of the things open-world PvE has to offer. Along with the usual mystic clovers, T6, etc... People in this thread should stop saying things in bad faith. On the other hand, raiders need more things to show for other than legendary armors which are already in no way exclusive to raids except for their skins.

I don't really care about legendary armors but I'm glad people keep bringing this up since pretty much every thread gets closed because of the same people. More options cannot be bad for the game, people who want to raid will raid. Make it grindy and take as long as WvW legendaries, keep the Gift of Battle, whatever. I'm sure they can come up with a way to add PvE legendary armors, there is a lot to do in PvE. Is it challenging? Not really. Is switching camps in WvW for 20+ hours per week challenging? Even less so.

I have to admit that without older content, especially HoT, I would be long gone. Now considering the huge powercreep making even HoT trivial, their new vision for the game (if we can even call it that) and the lack of care I'm not sure I have a long time left in Tyria anyway. At least in GW2's Tyria.

Open world became way too easy and brain dead and I'm getting increasingly bored with it. I hope they will do something about it but I don't think they will.

Since EoD I don't think the game is in as good a state as they pretend it is.

Make sure the exp bar for the mastery you want to unlock is selected, when in the masteries menu click on it. Maybe you are getting exp on a Raptor or Skimmer mastery instead?

It's here for a reason, they know what they're doing. Same for all the noises around the crafting stations.

It is indeed very bad and almost made me quit the game at the time. Many story instances are bad but this one takes the crown.

I like the way things are, if and when I'm satisfied I try to buy some QoL for around 15€ each month which is about what I used to pay for FFXI. Since EoD's release I haven't been satisfied with what they deliver so I stopped, for now. I'm also not sure they would come up with a fair sub system and actually put the profits back into the game. It'll probably quickly become not optional. I think we have one of the best systems here, as someone who likes to actually play the game for my gold. Now if they added more unique and cool rewards for playing the game and not swiping your credit card it would be even better. I will never ever pay for a mount or a skin in the gem store, even with gold to gem conversion. But if they added some, ideally exclusive, to the game that would drastically increase my engagement with the game even though I don't care about skins. I do care about completion though. I don't think these things are mutually exclusive, people who don't mind swiping will do it anyway.

I agree that their support/customer service is top notch. Even more top notch when you come from FFXI/FFXIV and Square Enix's absolutely awful customer support even though they milk their players in every way imaginable.
