  1. It's the same with Bladesworn, about all it has is DPS. If you get a very mobile target it doesn't do that very well either. Course though you could probably say that for warrior in general that all it has is DPS no very notable support builds (mainly meaning PvE).
  2. Their primary lack isn't just protection, it's resolution as well. Also that 40% uptime isn't good enough when other healer options can just bring it on demand. In encounters such as QTP depending on your groups DPS the stability may our may not be ready, you can be too high or to low on DPS that can go either way. If you're going to give stab to a skill like on my mark it'll end up replacing shake it off because regeneration from defense is just too good to give up, you still need banner of tactics for quickness. If you're saving on my mark for stab you can't spam it so there's no ability to spike heal like other professions can do. Warrior would need lots of updates/overhauls to weapons and core mechanics to become viable.
  3. Yeah, they gave jokesworn the range kinda tongue and cheek just to say that they gave us mid-range.
  4. Well part of the problem with guardian (firebrand being the main culprit here) isn't just it's ability to heal but the other support boons it's able to provide, and several of them fairly on demand, versus someone like a quickness warrior or a support specter. You have to hit the skills off CD otherwise you give up on your main job giving quickness on warrior or alac on specter. Like the banner of tactics yes it has stability on it but you have to use it off CD or others won't get the quickness they need.
  5. I'm having similar issues doing zerg versus zerg fights and getting plenty of kills and 0 defense event participation credit.
  6. ^ This and spellbreaker with DD/GS for weapons going top/bot/bot even more might from dagger auto attack and a bit more healing from having a dagger offhand.
  7. I'd rather see this than having a 2 week notice, to me it means they just got something working and need to test it to make sure it's ready for the next step. The more short notice things they do the quicker we might finally get alliances.
  8. It's also the very top that can do that damage and not mess something up. They know those bosses inside and out. In open world good luck getting off that big skill while others are around. Against world bosses good luck trying to get the skills off with the AOE vomit without getting cc'ed or the boss moving away. It's just a very difficult thing to run those that can do it well excell but those are few and far between.
  9. We also got an elite spec that's decidedly not mobile and takes forever to build up. Also, compared to other professions that, oh you spent time out of combat here's some of your profession mechanic juice so it's not fully depleted. Warrior on the other hand you gotta build everything from 0.
  10. Yeah, I'm guessing they only want it proccing 3 times on a WoD instead of 5.
  11. I've also had a few issues with DT2 I haven't been able to consistently replicate where it doesn't go off, and I'm still sitting at my initial location even though I've used the skill and it goes on full CD.
  12. Yeah, I originally was thinking it'd auto proc on use too but then I remembered this is Anet we're talking about and we play warrior.
  13. I think the wording is the same as it was before, there's even a note in the wiki saying that even though it doesn't say it needs to hit, you still need to hit.
  14. Wasn't AH and BP already only on hit?
  15. I was talking there's both power and condition quickness builds for warrior in general. Compared to other professions only have condition or power quickness builds. So in that regard it makes going through raids without swapping toons to do power or condi quickness (which slows you down) easier. But as Lan said I'm talking about swapping templates.
  16. Well one thing with warrior quickness that other professions don't necessarily bring to the table is that it can bring either condi or power damage, which I believe the others are either condi or power exclusively while warriors can switch between the two with the click of a button. Making it faster since you won't have to swap toons. Can also bring battle standard for clutch res.
  17. Overall I think my lazy spellbreaker is nerfed with how I play the game my overall might generation is going way down with the nerf to magebane tether. Even in group play I'd run PS giving everyone tons of might because I gave myself tons of might, now self might generation is down 2/3 on MBT which is a lot less healing. Group might generation will be down 1/3 for MBT (if I'm still taking PS). So solo play will be more difficult because I won't be generating as much might (and healing myself from that, might have to go back to golemancer runes to give someone might for more healing). Group content I'll have to see if the dagger AA giving aoe group might will make up for the nerfs to MBT.
  18. I think because any explanation that they give would mean they'd have to be prepared to die on that hill. To me there is no explanation they could give that would make it worth that.
  19. We warrior mains know that all too well.
  20. Yeah but that's a big middle finger to other pet classes that also need their pet to do things.
  21. Not a ranger main but one thing I saw engi getting that irks me about ranger pets is that the jade mechs can never be CC'ed anymore. Can ranger pets be CC'ed still? If so that is totally not right to me.
  22. I don't see them increasing there boons, I see them decreasing the cool down making us babysit them even more. "Helping" us.
  23. That or we're in that bad of shape that a hot fix patch won't fix us.
  24. And then they'll kill it for condi builds. 🤣
