You are unwilling even find stuff in each page by typing Control+F "Stealth" into your search bar, then just go back the last few pages from 13, and your excuse for that is "Its 13 pages long hur dur get it for me". Even if the person who stated it comes out now and claims they "didn't mean it back then", it doesn't matter. Its still a blatantly false statement, and it discredits every post on that side of the argument. Because now everybody knows, ppl who want WB nerfed will throw out any ludicrous claim as long as they get what they want, this was never a discussion, its just a tantrum. 3. Ye, WB needs to have the easy/telegraphed parts of their dmg heavily nerfed so noobs don't get rofl-stomped, like u said, Virtue Flames and Off-sword, maybe even Lethal Tempo in WvW, since taking Phoenix over Tyrant barely changes the dmg output at all when roaming. sPvP and WvW WB just needs to have another skill split, as those 2 are extremely different things. WvW WB needs to be dmg nerfed and utility buffed, while sPvP WB straight up needs utility buffs. Outside of being a vroom-vroom Guardian, WB just doesn't seem to have a class identity at all.

Nice try, except you didn't discuss the positive aspects of design at all, such as the few things Anet did right, and shud focus on. You only focused the negative, meaning your post is about wanting straight ele buffs, not adjustment. Also, its all "other classes have THIS advantage over Ele blah blah", you literally didn't want to have a "class identity", you just want "what the other kids have that I don't". If you go into "Boonstrip" in Wiki, you will see... The 2 classes that cannot Strip Boons are actually Ele/Guardian, while Engi has multiple on core. If you've played the game this long, and you can't even do basic research when you make a post saying "GYUYS I HYAV THE EVYIDENCE ELE IS TRASH", I am not even remotely inclined to believe you.

I said "Best bet (out of every option cuz they are all bad)", I never said it was a "surefire way", "good way", or "easy way". The power creep from early 2023 to now, isn't even that big of a difference, those so called "45k golem dps" u guys cook up doesn't really happen in Silverwastes, so if me and a bunch of randos in Feb 2023 powercreep state (42k back then?) cud organize enuf to do it, so can OP. In fact, most ppl said it was impossible in Feb 2023 too, and a lot of ppl probably been screaming the same message since PoF came out, its been "omg powercreep cant slow down SW boss kill, its impossible". But it is possible, its just getting harder and harder every year. To add on to my earlier suggestion. OP shud wait until Halloween is over, then put "slow dps on meta boss for achieve" or whatever phrase ppl want in Central Tyria Squads LFG, since there will be no more LAB postings there and therefore less cluttered. Either post it by themselves, or get a like-minded Commander to do it for them. Most importantly, make sure to relay the intent to the map chat, because nobody knows what other ppl want, unless its been communicated.

Your best bet is to ask ppl to slow down/bring a healer build, and if enuf of the peeps don't act like locusts devouring everything in their path...MAYBE you can get it. This was the case for me a year ago as well, just me and MANY peeps bitching and moaning in map chat until enuf ppl saw it and actually slowed down.

The only way to get defense credit, is by KILLING a player that has satisfied criteria for Attack credit. So, what does an Attacker do to get credit? the cases that ik of, are 1. Killing a Guard, merely damaging them doesn't work. And if somebody says they've gotten credit before by merely tapping 1, thats becuz another person came along and finished the Guard. 2. Dealing enuf dmg to a Structure to gain exp from the Wall/Gate going down. Sometimes merely using a Cata and landing 2-3 shots isn't enuf to get credit, we have to SEE the exp pop for the Attack credit to work. This makes it extremely difficult to gauge who on the enemy team satisfied the criteria, unless they were there from start to finish operating siege. 3. KILLED lord. This is slightly more forgiving, becuz even lightly tapping Lord, will pop exp. 4. Be in the Ring when it shows. Again, very forgiving, just be in it if you didn't manage to get the above 3 chances, just like Camp captures. Back to the point, you have to KILL a player who has satisfied Attack credit, meaning somebody who has done 1 of the first 3 options. The 4th cannot count since...obviously the structure has alrdy been lost.

You get a lot of Blu Lucks from it, with very few Exotics, so Artificing them into Exotics is required after you salvage stacks of gear.

Just keep hoarding more lower tiers and Artificing them, ull get there faster than expected. Maybe some Mini-dungeons on the side like Vasburg can help. There is of course Mad King's Labyrinth, the bags do tend to give some luck, I get around 7-12 Exotic Lucks, and 30-60 Rare Lucks to go with it, per every 250 I open.

The old way had fixed positions for Skyscale Collection items/interactables, which meant that it was surefire steady but slow progress. (12 days for me, can be done in 3) The new one took me longer than the old one becuz of crappy RNG, which further discouraged me from actively trying to finish it, as I was alrdy in possession of Skyscale. But other than that, it is far faster on every other step, so don't be too alarmed. A lot of ppl THINK they need LW3 for the Ice Egg collection bit, but u can simply join a Claw of Jormag fight, then hang around the Elite/Champ mobs to the side of the final phase fight. If they freeze you, u will get the Ice Egg. Everything else is simply following Wiki or generic Skyscale guides. Best of luck!

Absolutely, DH shuda been the selfish spec, which means it needs to actually have a condi option to begin with.

The fact that FB is so unbalanced across modes is an issue in and of itself. Basically mandatory for WvW Zerg/PvE Fractals, yet hot garbage in sPvP is just bad. Ppl who want to play other supports in Zerg/Fractals like you, are forced to learn FB or give up supporting altogether, while ppl who want to bring FB into sPvP are just...soft banned. If homogenizing support specs to achieve better balance, at least among supports, will give better balance, then might as well bite the bullet and do it, then re-add class flavor back in bit by bit.

My friend, they didn't even quote you, I do not believe they even disagree with you, or partially directed the message at you. And as far as I am concerned, both of you are correct, Guardian just feels bad to play and is akin to Warrior (tho less harsh) in the way it feels like its still 2012 in playstyle. But, it has been allowed to have good numbers, which forces it to stay relevant in the meta, so the devs refuse to give Guardians meaningful QoL and proper adjustment, because it is a stable, safe, kinda balanced, and unfortunately stale class overall atm. The way WB functions is also extremely toxic game design, very anti-noob with the mobility and dmg that lower skilled players cannot counter properly, hence why WB gets a lot of hate. At the same time, skilled players acknowledge that WB is actually somewhat balanced, because of its inherent flaws that have been discussed many times before. Ive said in other threads before, and I will say the same again. Balance out the utility discrepancy between FB and other Support specs, and give it more self agency, makes it less dominant in WvW and better in sPvP. Tone down the self-boons(cut base durations)/dmg (15~20% is good) of WB, give it better group utility, rework its Physical skills to not be garbage, so that it can actually be used in non-niche PvE content and less noob-stomping in WvW, while improving the skill ceiling for sPvP so ppl like Saiyan can get creative. Make DH a proper ranged class by reworking its traits/utilities so that it can proc Resolution without needing to have a GS on swap.

Some even take it to the general category itself , like that certain one in sPvP. But it is hard to ascertain if ppl are huffing copium, or have legitimate criticism about the class, until you see the reactions and comments tho.

I second giving Stab to more ppl. Stop making me go into HB jail for every Fractal/Zerg fight, its really, really mentally draining being the nanny.

BG intentionally tanked last week, to get out of a matchup against Mag. Even if they are alive, they seem more focused on getting "easy matchups" rather than duel anyone properly. They will absolutely murder anyone who isn't Mag in a fair fight, but cowering from Mag in favor of bullying ppl who clearly cant fight back is NOT competition, its what WvW players call "filthy PvE casuals".

Ye, the Adds re-tehtering randomly on 66/33 is a big issue.

Every 5-10 mins, client blips out, specifically in Dragonfall. Ive ran it without Add-Ons too, it doesn't help. Of course, other people making the same complaint/observation in map chat too. Please, help.
