  1. whats your Character Model Limit set to? seems to me that the necro (and by extension his effects/abilities) weren't appearing until you were already in combat with him because his entire model had been culled to save your performance. If you want to avoid this just turn up the character model limit and take the FPS hit.
  2. No stats on your weapons at all is a pretty bold choice in the current meta.
  3. I've started getting this problem the since (I assume) the 27th patch - it's making the game almost unplayable in competitive, especially when ground targeted skills are involved (as my mouse cursor isn't where I'm expecting it to be after moving my camera)
  4. big fan on swords for wvw and spvp (mostly main hand, you'll have to pry my focus from my cold dead offhand) not so much of a fan of the flipover on the 2 being as weak as it is in wvw. (it feels great in spvp). Feels like it should be on par with the initial attack like it is in other game modes. the only benefit is that it's not a projectile, otherwise feels like you're better off using autos. I guess it can hit people running in different directions/in stealth? doesn't come up often.
  5. The beta's been great. No shortage of content at any time of the day, but a massive uptick in the amount of BMers/siege thrown, which is a trade i'm willing to make in exchange for stuff to actually do.
  6. Set guild a few days ago and I'm not convinced I'm in the same matchup as people that have done the same.
  7. Actually it's received buffs, as with the CDR on elixirs being baked in, you can now take septic corruption for whatever that other one is called for more DPS 🙃 and the buffs to the death magic tree have helped a lot, too
  8. Brutal Momentum in the renegade traitline adds 10% crit chance flat, or 33% instead if your endurance is full.

At this point I would prefer if it was just "target an enemy, do an attack, make a ground aoe between you and the target" because unless you're on the equivalent of a perfectly flat basketball court it's gonna target whatever it pleases anyway As for Hammerbolt I can only assume that they're assuming that it's always going to be under quickness because of the primary environment that it's used (WvW zergs) that's keeping it the way it is?
  10. The Scepter is a really fun playstyle in groups, but incredibly useless solo due to non-existant power scaling. I love the playstyle of whacking things to provide boons + barrier to your team, and the tether is really nice and visible (although sometimes it just disappears, especially when moving around keeps - it stays active, you just can't see it.) I'm a little concerned the might is... completely unhinged, especially if you're packing any boon duration at all. Looking forward to running this on a heal vindi, wish I had a reason to use it on a hybrid bruiser/heal vindi.
  11. I was super surprised to see the new tighter-to-your-character hitbox on CoR, felt great - until I tried to use hammer to actually kill anything. Even the most gentle change in elevation wildly changed where it was aiming, and I found myself actually going OOC to change back to shortbow on my second fight.
  12. Tested in both WvW and PvE (Open World) - if I get CCed and then use Riposting Shadows, you don't seem to get the energy refund the vast majority of the time. Seems more consistent with other stunbreaks (both alliance stunbreaks and dwarf stunbreak tested). Is this an ICD issue, or is there a bug with the skill?
  13. Oh, I mean I recorded myself using it and watched it back in WvW in slow motion and it doesn't seem to actually be working at all. Couldn't see the 5 energy being granted at all. I'll test it some more, it looked like Riposting shadows was still costing the full 40 with normal regen after (rather than a jump in 5 energy)
  14. Honestly, being able to pop Energy Meld for a suprise follow up port to catch speed rune Willbenders is a godsend. Or to be able to break stun (not that I'm convinced Contained Temper is actually working, mind you), pop energy meld and then have enough energy to actually play the game and not just die because you spent all your energy on breaking a stun? Fantastic.

Granted I only really play WvW and Pvp, but Ansiyan's Trust feels incredible in both modes, the extra energy/getting you closer to your next dodge always feels really really good, and lets you keep your pressure on or get away when chased. Certainly better than the 10 energy on legend swap it was before, or the sneeze of vigor we got from Song of Arboreum. Beginning to get the vibe that the majority of forum users don't like change.
  17. a 180 degree wall would be a floor but yes, to back up what the other guy said. first is spectral walk, you can see it on the bar (little green spooky guy) and then the second one is almost definitely a Wurm placed towards the keep. If you turn your graphics higher spectral walk has big green stink lines coming off your character, making it easier to see. the guy in the video didn't cheat.

Honestly I'd take something just to dump my gorillion ability points into, even if it was a track that just increased Magic Find/Gold to make rewards a bit more worthwhile to those of us that play WvW as their primary game mode. I'm also strongly of the opinion that Weaponmaster Training for WvW should sit on an ability track reward, (much like unlocking gliding/mounts for wvw) - just so it's a quick unlock for people that don't want to do pve.
  20. Meanwhile arenanet having to turn more servers on to ensure the Secrets of the Obscure launch went smoothly due to unexpected demand. Remember, don't take what you read on the forums as representative.
