  1. but why is mabon so big, mursaat are not so big, and is there any mention ingame why he has no wings? or didnt use spectral agony?
  2. i guess we see soon enough what they are. I do like the term The Three Prime Evils here in gw 😄
  3. the blogpost mentioned this new enemy, the Kryptis, it mentioned they have been teased before. I'm trying to think of what enemy/creature in the games, 1 and 2, could have been a Kryptic, they do remind me of the Domain of Pain.
  4. but oni's can have names too right, why could it not have been named 'Bob, the ravenous wanderer', or invent some oni-lore/canthan lore name for it
  5. why was it just "the ravenous wanderer", why didnt it have a name, took me a few minutes into the bossbattle to realise this was the big boss of this storypart, thye could have given it a name
  6. it remidns me that i miss the gw1 mechanics, gw1 had 2 variations 'teleport' and 'shadowsteps' shadowsteps needed line of sight and a path to the target, teleports did not need that, in gw2 its all 'shadowsteps'
  7. im not a first time revenant player, i have been playing since launch, even played at gamescom in 2010. but i never had this much of an issue with it, its just extremely noticible with those bombs on the sidewalk. actually with revenant i had less issue with it. where i did had issue was guardian scepter/focus, necromancer scepter/torch, elementalst scepter/warhorn. To name the skills. chains of light, ray of judgment, lightning strike, grasping dead, devouring curse, oppresive collapse. those come to mind that i could not use on the bombs. but i think it is mostly that instance. its the mission "The Queen's Address"
  8. im playing through season 1 now with my characters, but during the closing ceremony with scarlet, the bombs are on a little sidewalk, half my skills never work on them because i dont have Line of Sight, i first thought that because they are ona little sidewalk, it screws with the game's pathing, but even standing next to the bombs, on the sidewalk, gives that message.
  9. seems at the first mission, at the party you seem to know all the people, from what i understand from the intro cimematic as noble, you help people, but now its time to check outside the city, and thats when the whole adventure started. but after that its basicly not mentioned anymore. but in EOD there is a reverence if you picked noble:D. i still think that big house that you can enter in Manor Hill is your house, and the house in Cottage Bend you can enter is your house if you picked commoner
  10. in Rook's row in DR there is a clothesline with clothes, so they wash clothes too it seems
  11. After 10 years this issue with the game DC'ing during a cinematic in a story instance has still not been solved, or checkpoints placed in the missions. its getting very annoying to have to do Victory or Death (zhaitan) 5 times because it of disconeccts during the cinematics (mostly the one after the mouth) using a tagline to make the game use a secure port does help, but its still annoying. it also seems to be very specific cinematgics that cause it more ofter than not, like the cauldron drop cinematic from Blast from the past also DC's alot, can you plaease put in checkpoints so you dont have to do the whole mission over and over again
  12. with Faren, when your a noble, you already Faren at least for some time, as you seem to be friends, so lorewise he has a few years i guess on the rest, but only as a noble
  13. the problem is not that you have to pay for living world, its not that expensive, and seems people are willing to pay for it. it that we have a "complete package" and afterward learn that it is not complete, its only half the story with only the expansions it says what you get, but it does not say what you dont get. does the buyplaces even mention that living world exist? if "the complete package" said, "this package contains all 3 expansions of the game, but the game also has inbetween seasons called 'living world' that can be bought for gems, wich can be bought or exchanged for ingame gold" i dont think we would have these complains much
  14. but usa/uk uses english, was has become the common language in tyria, and most is named in english, but some are named in french, but so far we have no place where this french language comes from
  15. im more wondering where all the french named food comes from, as we so far have no france ingame
  16. i do wonder if we see the titans again, but if its true what they said that the gods story hasnt ended yet and there is more to come, we may see the titans. do we have creatures ingame that fall apart into smaller creatures, besides that one annoying permanent-retaliation wolf in s2?
  17. if you look at the worldmap, there goes a paved mainroad from Lion's Arch to all 5 racial cities, this is the Lion's Road, the havens are on this road, they are part of the trade network, thye are kinda checkpoint sin the road network
  18. would it be funny if you play on a sylvari, Aurene is named "Cousin Aurene"
  19. makes me think, does the Dream and Wyld Hunts maybe come from Soo-Won?, ben then again, why would she give sylvari PC a wyld hunt to kill her children
  20. my idea is that void is the basic magic of the outside, volitile and deadly and everchanging. Soo-Won made a stable version, lets call this LeylineMagic, both are all the magic, but void is unstable and leyline is stable, but overtime, this leyline magic slowly falls back to the unstable void, and soo-won and the other dragons filtered this unstable back out the leyline system. i think thye kept this void inside their bodies, it slowly build up over thousands of years like lead poisoning. and then we killed them, dumping all that voidpoisoning they accumulated into the leysystem again, 1 dragon wasnt that bad, but after 2, it started to mess up the system and you get anomalies all over. and i think this is why aurene's bond with mortasl is to mentioned alot, especially mortals, always mortals. i think this is because aurene shares small amounds of filtered void with mortals, and when mortals die they go to the mists, taking the void with them, and so remiving it from the leysystem completly. i dont know if this was anets vision, but it does explain it nicely and also why the bond with mortals is so important there is still 1 issue with all theories we have with this all and that is 'The Mists' , what is the mists connection to the void and leyline magic?, and why exactly was it bad that kralkatorrik ate alot of it?
  21. i was thinking the email you get forgot to mention where the molten alliance came from, but its only the human letter than is mission that, sylvari: The dredge in Wayfarer Foothills and the Flame Legion in Diessa Plateau have joined forces to create the "Molten Alliance." Together, they're assaulting the lands north of Hoelbrak and the Black Citadel. norn: Our scouts have confirmed that dredge in Wayfarer Foothills and Flame legion in Diessa Plateau have allied; they're calling themselves the "Molten Alliance." Such a partnership cannot be ignored. Charr: Rumor's now a fact. Dredge in Wayfarer Foothills and Flame Legion in Diessa Plateau have allied, forming the "Molten Alliance." Together they're attacking our people up north and norn to the west asura: Masterful sleuthing in Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau has led us to new insights. A dredge and Flame Legion alliance? And then Human is like this: Refugees are pouring into the cities from the north, where a dredge-Flame Legion alliance is tearing through Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau. Our comrades are struggling to repel the Molten Alliance invaders. why doesnt human say ' struggling to repel this "molten alliance" why doesnt the human letter doesnt put the word "Molten Alliance" in quotation marks, making it look like something new, the human letter acts like its already been established thats they are named Molten Alliance
  22. in the documents folder of gw2 is a "music" folder make a playlist and name it "MainMenu" it will than play thta playlist at the character select screen, i have a playlist of gw1 and gw2 themes there, when i login i sometimes here EOTN, then HOT, then EOD, sometimes factions, sometimes norn, and more its really nice
  23. i love my P/P thief with dual quip, itd as annoying anf funny to play, i used the critheals with zealot to stay alive and heal of my damage, worked nice and then anet nerved the healing.....
  24. as i said before, this expansion with Void, has a very clear point about aurene's bond with mortals, even the trailers talk about mortals, not any bond, but the bond with mortals. its still my theory that the magic of tyria (this white-allmagic, made from void-allmagic, is slowly reverting back to the void-allmagic, but the dragons filter out this void-allmagic from the leylines, wich creates a buildup in their bodies making them go mad, when we killed them the void buildup went back into the leysystem causes all kinds of troubles. and my theory is that here comes Aurenes bond with specifically mortals is that she shares the filtered void with mortals, but in tiny tiny amounts. and when mortals die, they take the tiny amound of void back to the mists, out of the ley-system. wich explains why there is such a focus on her bond with mortals, because mortals die. i dont know what the gods have to do with it, but there is still this thing with divine magic being supereffective/resistand with dragonmagic, but as said before, we dont know if this is with Leyline-allmagic, or void-allmagic, or both. Konig, your theory is that mists/void is basicly the same part of a yin/yang coin of creation/destruction. Soowon just made a planet with creation and kept it in a creation-form with the filtering even through it wants to revert to destruction-form, but if the leyline magic is the white-creation-dragon magic, wich seemingly divine opposes, so i gess it also opposes void. we just have to wait and see , as they said the god story wasnt over yet, we may get more answers.
  25. this also goes in line with my idea that slowly the dragonmagic became unstable again, and the dragon could filter this out the system, but not fully, so they get the buildup of void energy in themselves, and go mad. and when we killed them this void went back into the system causing trouble. what does the hindu myths tell about the 'sharing with mortals' , as my idea is that aurene, during the filtering shares very tiny amounds of void with mortals, and then when mortals die, thye go into the mists and release the void back into mists, taking it out of the system.
