Sorry for the bump but I still couldn't manage to find the right one and I'm not really the one to make the first move of contact due to my anxiety. I thank you for recommendations and stuff but I just seem to have no actual luck yet when engaging myself into messaging. Also I didn't have any luck with the guild overall. Longest I lasted was like 8 months or so and it makes me very sad and I'm about to give up searching. I've hopelessly searched and asked on here, on reddit and lately in lfg (although I despise lfg due to old bad experiences back then)... PS: as the title says, it should be on EU and LGBTQ+ mainly. Also it shouldn't be a guild that only accepts members over 30+ because I can only join in 8 years. However I don't really care for age stuff but please make it at least 18+ and maybe have an active supporting discord community with dedicated channels and events. I really miss hanging out with people doing stuff ingame and out of the game. 😞

Well, you can use your own build but the question is if you can perform as expected from others in your designated role. Probably not because compositions exists for a reason. It's very unlikely that others would take you into raids when using non meta builds and also 90% chance for an instant kick after you die or the group wipes the first time. People ask for certain builds in lfg and most raid guilds for a rason. For example if you're DPS you're expected to have at least 80% of the snowcrows benchmark due to boss mechanics that cause the encounter to fail if the group DPS is bad. Bosses like Dhuum for example have this. This is called a DPS check. Also don't expect the other team members to carry you just because your build isn't optimized and not in synergy with the other team members' builds. Raids are all about group coordination in overall cases.

I only know the old method from imgur but somehow it doesn't work anymore. The guide isn't updated anymore sadly I'm generally confused with the new stuff here because I came from the OG forums that are now archived long ago and the previous forum layout with the ranks and stuff. Yeah but I don't really think I'd be a good fit according to some experiences I had with no age limitation guild that allowed everyone. It was kind of a mess in two of these and I better not be a burden for your guild.

Why not? I mean it's nice to see things more in order with new categories added. Still the new layout is kind of confusing along with new functions but I'm surprised to new stuff being added like the roleplay one for example. In that case everything has its order and people can find posts belonging to a certain thing more easily now.

It depends. I know someone from the SEA region who plays on NA because the connection is somewhat better but not all too great so he had to use a VPN for a long duration until his account got locked due to VPN usage (as VPN triggers a false alarm in the security program as I heard) unfortunately. However the account is now unlocked again but some connectivity issues are still present of which it's mostly in GW1. However EU players have a hard time with servers on especially PoF maps and slow trading post as it's being reported multiple times. Maybe it's also related where exactly you come from as some countries tend to have terrible internet connection overall (Germany for example has pretty bad internet in comparison to other EU countries like NL for example). The same can go for other regions of the world too I guess. I had another friend from SEA but they lived in a different country and had no problems playing on EU until a certain time and moved over to NA as the connection was more stable there for them. Maybe asking around others in your area and their experiences can be helpful.

That would be a good idea! Although I rarely use the forums on a mobile device but I've noticed that a lot of forums seem to have too small letters but on that occasion zooming in on the page with two fingers can still do the trick.

Ah, thank you so much! The block thing would come in handy since I got death threats in the german forums during the original true vanilla forums back then a few years ago and reporting people hasn't solved anything sadly so I don't need to be afraid to post there anymore thanks to the new function. Anyways what abour our previously earned achievements on the old forums which are now the second forums since the OG got archived years ago? I'd like to retain them again as it took me a lot of effort to have these even in the previous ones even though I play since 2012... Yet still the new layout confuses me a lot but I think I'll get used to it. Also happy we have a roleplay subforum (and a lot of other coll new stuff) now which was long overdue since ESO already got it. I hope the RP community will grow as much more in GW2 (although it's pretty strong but on tumblr only as far as I know) as it did in ESO.

I've been waiting for this so long as last time it was available I didn't have enough tokens and I was waiting for what felt like 2 years for it to return but I never thought it would come back again and all the ones I had piled up are already spent and I only have like 8 left now and I really don't want to wait years again for it to be available or possibly never available anymore. I doubt I can catch up now because every week I can earn like 1 of them (with luck even more but I don't have any luck with these black lion chests that drop them) and next week will be new items offered for sure.Anyone perhaps know a clear rotation list or spreadsheet for the items that are available so I can perhaps prepare next time?The wiki doesn't give much information on when which item is offered. (I hope this post will stay after April 27th still because I heard the forums will be wiped :( )

Not just the last week but this has been going on for me on PoF maps since last year already and I heard that a lot of other EU players had the same issue on PoF maps back then. I remember it happening mainly in Desert Highlands at that time. Hope it gets fixed like ESO fixed their lag although it's not much but it's better now compared to earlier. Why are EU servers in every MMO so bad :(

Is there a way to do this solo on a glass canon dps raid build? Don't have any active friends since my friendlist died years ago and also no guild that is active as I've been searching for taht already without luck and lfg only puts too much pressure onto me and my mental state so I just have to do everything solo. So far I've done all of the challenges solo without problem but keeping all the squishy NPCs alive can only be done with a healer and to kill stuff would take too much time as you're not in dps gear as a healer and therefore deal less damage. It's pretty tiresome doing this achievement solo but I heard there was a way to trick it. Anyone knows perhaps how to get it done solo so I don't need to get insulted (even if it's not in chat because they'll probably all judge me horribly behind their screens. I can feel it) by lfg people and feel less worth than I already am...

There's even a warning for that before you enter the box. Unfortunately there's no warning when going in with the invitation item.

Or you just do it like this. the game has an optional subscription system Tomes of Knowledge don't exist but EXP scrolls do (which you can buy from the gemstore but you'll get them as well from daily login rewards that are different every month) and character leveling is very long and tedious and people usually level together at a certain map and you'll see +dolmen in chat all the time to be invited into a squad because being in a party gives a bit of EXP increase and credit to everyone in itno gold to gem conversion because you get gems by subscribing with which you can buy the usual stuff you already know but some new stuff as well (like DLCs, elite specs seperately from DLCs and a pig mini pet that increases inventory space for example)Living story, raids, fractals and a few dungeons (there's a new dungeon releasing every once in a while along with the other group content) are paid DLC content contentExpansions will become DLCs later when a new expansion (chapter) releases and is currently activeYou can't store materials in base game and materials clutter up a lot of your inventory but when you sub for a month you get a material storage you can use for that time you have limited inventory/bank space that you can increase for 10 more slots for a lot of gold but subscribing doubles the slots you buysubscribing also gives you 15% bonus EXP gain (which is very helpful because character leveling is super long), access to all DLCs without buying them (which is way cheaper than buying them all one by one), you get 1650 gems every month when you're subscribed and just in general subscribing is the better option(I know this sounds a lot like ESO. It's intended :wink:Jokes aside, ESO is actually good and you can play it without sub very well too but sometimes things can be annoying and my comment should be taken with a grain of salt ^^ I just tried to imagine how GW2 would be with a system like ESO)

I'd really love to see a choya raid actually but sadly there's no achievement tied to it and also the tonic isn't available in raids please make it permanent because it would be so funny seeing a bunch of choyas kill bosses like Dhuum, Quadim or Gorseval
