  1. I don't really keep physical things for very long, so probably not. It'd just get tossed out whenever I move next.
  2. I really like my old main. Hvit was born as a Norn blessed by Raven with wisdom. While young, her father defected to the Sons of Svanir and killed her mother. She tried to join the Sons herself but she was a daughter. After this rejection, she journeyed to Hoelbrak where she was taken in by a havroun because of her affinity with spirits. After learning that she was unsuited for becoming a shaman, she was trained as a guardian. Not an uncommon story. Unlike most Norn, she was more interested in gaining knowledge than building a legend. Eventually, Eir took her under her wing and taught her to make a difference using what she learned. After Zhaitan's death, Hvit had felt that Eir was like a mother to her. Then Braham entered stage right. Hvit saw Braham as a thief trying to steal her mother, but tried her best to stifle these feelings. HoT made things a lot more complicated for her.
  3. I myself got it quite a while ago, but I agree. The 250 of each currency was not fun; it was painful. I would strongly support a change in this area for players forward-going. As for the "long term goal" argument, I strongly disagree. If you actively play in open world, the skyscale quickly became the norm for certain parts of group trains. If you don't have it, you can get left behind more easily. Getting it didn't feel like a nice long-term goal because it significantly changes how you play. Long term goals should be largely cosmetic so that you can afford to work at them at your own pace. The skyscale, as far as I'm concerned, was not optional content.
  4. You can trade in your boosters? :o Glad to know! I never had problems with karma until I started working towards vision. Now, I see the value your suggestion would add.
  5. I'm just not sure how they can make that interesting. While I was taking a break during season 1, I remember the buzz from others was that they were super eager to get back into elder dragons and, given the other enemies we've encountered, I think that's fairly understandable. Scarlet was largely disliked based on acquaintances that I knew at the time(and most articles). As for cleaning up, that doesn't sound fun. Cleaning after you make a mess isn't fun outside of pen and paper dnd because you have no agency. Without agency, it feels like you are just doing busy-work. =\ For my part, I want to spend the season doing intel-gathering on the deep sea dragon. Sailing around shores following rumors and stuff.
  6. Snow is my favorite that's in the game, but I'd kill for a torrent or some light rain or some mist. I just love rain in general.
  7. I killed 1000 spiders super shortly after GW2's release. I wanted the title Spider Slayer, but oh well. Shortly after, I got the title Combat Healer. That definitely made me feel super proud. Helping others is the thing most worth boasting about after all! =D
  8. Honestly, I play with the music muted. I like to multitask, so it interferes with other things I may be watching.
  9. If I remember correctly, expertise already does that. Expertise increases condition duration. I want to increase the debuff(not all conditions) magnitude. Imagine applying weakness for a short duration that causes enemies to deal 80% less damage instead of 50%. Imagine slowing someone to 30% of their normal speed. Crippling enemies like this would be super enjoyable for me. Doubt it'll ever see the light of day, though.
  10. My only concern with more race options is that I remember hearing that making armor/outfits for our multiple races is already limiting armor/outfit output. Given this, I certainly would rather see more armor than a new race. Fashion wars and all. It's a shame because back when I played SWtOR, I was always excited for new races.
  11. I vaguely remember it had something to do with timing and character position. I'm not really interested in most of the dialogue because my character isn't involved in any of it and I dislike the commander. Not sure how she keeps all of my characters following her around. Instead, I mostly just afk in story heavy portions after the first time through.
  12. Let's go with Caithe, Marjory, and Canach. Braham can tag along if he babysits Taimi and returns Eir's bow to my norn. Not a big fan of Kas, Rox, or Gorrik. They're just kind of...vanilla, I guess. Taimi is ok when used sparingly(hence Braham).
  13. Curse - increases the effectiveness of outgoing debuffs I would max it and run a build that had tons of weakness and slow to apply. Sometimes, I think I have a terrible personality.
  14. Warships. Possibly flying warships. Customize your own flying warship to send into battle against Steve. Haven't you always wanted your own warship with pink fluttering banners flying in the wind? No? Just me? Alternatively, a bestiary. This feature will catalog info about enemies you've defeated and unlock benefits. These benefits could be as complicated as hot-swapping builds when you enter combat against that specific enemy type to as simple as +1 damage(because I'm fine with slight power creep). Dealing with trash mobs? Auto-swap to a trash clearing build. Target a champion and hot-swap to a build designed for the champion. I like pre-fight preparation giving you an edge. Also, what about an armory? Like to switch weapons/armor sets for different areas/activities? Well store all your equipment in your inventory no longer. Now you have an armory that you can access out of combat to carry your alt equipment in. Not as great as legendary equipment because you still have buy new equipment for new stats, but a nice boon for the average player that wants to carry 3 sets of exotic gear for trying builds out.
  15. If there was a great deal in customization, I'd be interested. Player expression is nice. If it's a one-style-fits-all swimsuit, I don't want it.
  16. I often have difficulty with jumping puzzles because of hand tremors and occasional spasms. Thankfully, the treats exist for certain puzzles and I found lots of lovely mesmers were around to help out when I spasmed at various points.
  17. Only if I could turn off spiders. VR games with spiders are no good for me. Project dothack is what originally brought me to MMOs, so I'm definitely interested in VR.
  18. This new skin is tempting me to login even though I have a fever. ='(
  19. The second Norn female hairstyle doesn't load for me for some reason(even enabling all javascript/turning off adblock). More hairstyles is going to force me to spend more money on new character slots, though. ='(
  20. The only part I didn't like was the saddle. That part was miserable. Slowly accruing currency for things like armor is fine because I don't lose anything from not getting it as soon as possible. Doing it for a mount is...not fun. Every bit of experience I gain earning this currency feels like wasted time since I can't work on Skyscale related masteries. If this step started after Sksycale flight and allowed you to work on Skyscale masteries, I could work on it at my leisure. Instead, I felt pressured to work exclusively on grinding out currencies. Just some slight tweaks to the process could have improved the ordeal massively. The collections themselves, however, I had a great deal of fun with. I especially liked playing hide and seek.
  21. I was unconvinced until this part: It's the only way to be sure.
  22. The main one that comes to mind is Split Second from the Asura personal story. Knowing I could rule the world if I had wanted to is pretty nice. The infinity ball was my greatest invention(back when I had inventions).
  23. If adding Tengu was a small investment, I'd be all for it. I love the idea of new races. Unfortunately, I remember reading somewhere that it isn't a small investment. Given this and the layoffs from a while back, I don't think Tengu can be justified at this point in time when that effort could be spent on something that changes gameplay. Maybe a combat tonic would be more viable?
