  1. On thieves: The Signet of Malice tooltip displays an active heal for 3,275 regardless of what your Healing Power may be. The activation of the skill however heals for intended.
  2. Looks like you're out of luck with what you're trying to do. Working as intended as the Fire Nova is hitting something (triggered likely right after you would be retriggering stealth), so an alternative elite is your solution for the time being.
  3. It's brand spankin' new, bros. Patience. I'm sure they'll release more combinations in time.
  4. Used the /bug function ingame yesterday. Guess I'll put it here too since I see a lot of update patches going around. Plate of Fire Flank Steak which states: +100 Power+70 Condition Damage+10% Experience from Kills It however applies this nourishment when used: +12% Burning Duration+60 Precision+10% Experience from Kills
  5. Lady Camila's skin tone isn't choosable. Sylvari need an Abyss hair color option.Wouldn't mind a thinner, softer body shape for Norn either. They don't all have to be built to be barbarians, do they? Also, I've been wanting to have these two facial options for ages. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Human_female_7.jpg https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Anne.jpg And I mentioned this before, but we have a very black nearly monochrome skin. Why not a white one? Unfortunately using infusions to achieve this remove all contrast from the skin, face, and eyes. Wishful thinking, probably...
  6. Begs the question, will it trigger Outflanked in the future, or Stick Together, or Sugar Rush?
  7. @"Saracen.2691" I'm just concerned about the direction that fractal development is going with each change. Water or not, unavoidable and cheap damage is never fun. Even CM Arkk you could probably do without ever getting hit. It's hectic, sure, but at least it's fair. Then in a later release, Deepstone boss's barrier phase you cant avoid taking damage. It's not too punishing, but what if your health is already low? And shades sometimes do "mysterious damage" attacks that I to this day can't see coming. Then Siren's Reef final boss has the green and orange zones that just keep appearing right on you. There should be a way for you to not get them on you ever if you knew how. Now aquatic has a phase with a room-wide DOT from an elite mob you have to try to burst down with undergeared water weapons. ...Yep. I'm seeing a growing trend that feels most disagreeable. On a minor note, ever since that player pull/push mechanic has been introduced (tornados, wind beams, that one champion awakened), designers have been going nuts with them. Aquatic boss has it now too. Very annoying for melee, where you're doomed to a lot of damage usually unless you're on a class with teleports. At the very least, the boss could use the Archdiviner treatment and get his health bar gutted so the length of the fight doesn't have to be so drawn out.
  8. @Vavume.8065Springer was already buffed. When Skyscale was introduced, the charge time was decreased making it better than Skyscake for ascending as long as there is a cliff to land on. Also, it still does very good breakbar damage. It isn't obsolete. @"Smurf vonBlue.2549"And as much as I feel this is just another cleverly disguised "Skyscale must fly forever" thread, what I'd say is missing is a final mastery for Skyscale that gives its bonus to all other mounts like the rest do. What that would be, I don't know. An extra energy bar maybe?
  9. I feel Forced Engagement could use one extra second of its condi application in PvP/WvW. Not enough to be OP, but enough to have it be respected. Rite of the Great Dwarf feels like a very expensive stun break while its actual effect I feel isn't even helping. I'm sure it probably is, but it doesn't feel like it's doing anything. Maybe it could also supply partywide retaliation? Other than that, I'm fine with Dwarf. Wouldn't touch a thing. EDIT: Just thought of something. Add a 1/4 second daze to the initial hit of Forced Engagement to allow it to actually interrupt mobs in PvE instead of it just saying it does.
  10. demon legend is better Well, I would hope a whole legend would be better than a single skill, yuh. o.o The OP's question is still answered.
  11. I'm weird. My favorites tends to shift, as it's usually something that works while no one else plays it, while my least favorite things are that which everyone plays all the time. It just feels boring to me to be a clone. Thematically, I rarely touch ranger, mesmer, warrior, and engi. Guardian is in the middle. And thief, necro, ele, and revenant I'm on the most.
  12. I'm too old to ever have a need for them, what with stacks of tomes and extra scrolls sitting around. But if I didn't have those, I'd probably buy a boost or two... if I didn't already have each profession.
  13. Really, I just appreciate reading these topics and perspectives, and what kinds of things people value. There really is no wrong answer. :)
  14. Sigh. Hold my beer. ... And I don't even like beer! You even admitted yourself that it took you three tries at your latest. Tomorrow, it'll probably be one! I keep sayin' it, but master the mechanics of anything in this game, and as long as it's not blatantly unfair, it'll become a cakewalk to someone. I haven't struggled on any gauntlet boss at all this festival. Neither do I feel it's brag fuel, as anyone can do it if they put their minds to hard countering whatever gimmicks are thrown at you.
  15. I thank you for bringing that up. Most people will say humans just because they've pretty much convinced themselves to provide that answer bias every time, with similar reasoning. Unfortunately it doesn't exactly invalidate their reasoning (which I am not saying you did), but that kind of immediate dismissal seems to tilt votes that might have any deeper thought or consideration behind them. There is no deeper thought about it. Humans look the best from a human pov, the armor looks best on them, people want to play an avatar version of their perfect selves, or they want a pretty female . Eye candy is what its about, this isnt some deep intellectual thought process. Its all about looks. I dont believe in attaching some deep meaning to it, it is what it is, humans are human. Its a blessing and a curse.Nah, that's not what I mean. I'm talking about those that say humanity is bland because... human. And that's it. And this is without regard to what they're actually doing and/ or how they're portrayed in whatever fantasy universe they're in. Of course they wont be 100% replicas of real life, but that's immediately dismissed in most cases because of what they're called. When it comes to a game where the eventuality of every playable racial encounter doesn't have any diverse behavior despite their supposed differing cultures, and are all pretty much humans with diverse "body transfusions", I then look at which race is doing the least for this kind of poll. S'why I went with Norn.
  16. You can have both. Run with a party (with "tribefilter" On), together with other players. That would make 5 of "your" characters and loads of all the other different looking ones. There is a point not to do this in big groups from my side. I don't want both. I'm saying I'm not in support of this feature period (with added slight snark towards people's fashion choices. :p ) and would rather development resources be used elsewhere. To each his own and all that stuff.
  17. Alright, now we're talkin'! See, the original post came off as you not liking Kalla's Ferver ALONE, but if it's the whole design of the e-spec that's underwhelming, that's a much better topic of discussion and one I can agree on. Also, never said ya couldn't express an opinion; that's putting words in my mouth, though to be fair I'd expect another of "me" to show up had I created a thread about ... not liking to play Rangers because they and their pets feel boring. "Ooookay?" Anywho, Kalla's Fervor is already baseline. You literally can't NOT choose it while simultaneously playing Renegade. I however don't feel like the e-spec is not well-thought out--That'd definitely be an insult to whomever designed it--but I'll definitely say it doesn't make the Revenant feel distinct enough in what changes it does bring. It's a spec that boosts outgoing numbers, buuut, what you're suggesting is just a tweak of those same numbers, albeit making it work closer to Malice except effecting F1-F3 skills instead of Stealthed Weapon skill 1. o.o Is that really much of a change in the way of design? Still seems borin'. (Which will always be subjective anyhow). But... I myself can't really bring any solutions to this conversation. Maybe with more time, I could, but definitely not at the moment as I'm soon to go to bed. To be quite honest, it feels like everything's already been done already in one way or another. And... maybe they were meant to. I mean, this whole game's founding selling points was that any class was capable of all things and that the Holy Trinity was no more. And I find myself repeating this a lot lately, but this game's gameplay variety is a lot more shallow than it appears.
  18. Also, whoever paints the majority of your ingame art, Anet, deserves a raise. So many wonderful paintings everywhere!
  19. ... Odd post that seems as if it's just looking for something to complain about. It is and has been just a buff you get for going into that spec to provide a boost to damage without anything fancy. It was never meant to be exciting. The new addition of the short bow and stance is the "interesting" part of the spec. Now, maybe if you said the overall visual theme to the Kalla Stance wasn't so enthralling, I'd understand, but specifically Kalla's Fervor bores YOU. Just makes me respond with, "Ooookay?" Anywho, good luck with that. O.o

  21. Don't think OP is coming back to comment. Anywho, this topic pops up just about every year now...
