  1. Okay, thank you. I'll grab them when I see them. :) ... Oh. ...OHHH. Okay, those things! Yeah, I thought those were lightning bugs. My bad.
  2. They're warriors who got exposed to the mists and somehow forgot how to use most of their weapons. Least that's what I gathered from HoT/ living story lore.
  3. I'd rather mounts keep their distinct advantages and disadvantages. Since you'll soon have two aerial mounts, it seems fine for me that one is better at going up and one is better at going down.
  4. Yep. Having done three thousand over the weekend (with considerable boredom-distracting aid from YouTube mind you), you'll want to completely ignore branded mobs and just focus the unique mobs in each area. I recommend a minmaxed Deadeye. It's what I did it with, though Shadow Monks stuck no matter what you do. Undead area is the easiest. Fire area is the toughest. Verdant is in between.
  5. Unable to answer this question, taken literally at least, because neither race is new...
  6. I slaughtered three THOUSAND innocent, little creatures... Does this make me bad?
  7. I always thought Steve was the Labyrinthine Horror, and the Deep Sea Dragon was Bubbles. Thoroughly confused.
  8. I'm in the same (fortunate) boat. Been amassing charged quartz like a ritual ever since the last queen's gauntlet, and now I have plenty.
  9. Oh, there's a hint alright... makes up speculation from out of nowhere. Canach is dreadfully quiet.
  10. I unfortunately have the opposite problem. Spoilers mean nothing to me. I find more value in how something is presented instead, and when I like what I see, I tend to like to talk about it. Just, people prefer me not to for a usually unspecified amount of time. Must... share... experience!
  11. Sounds great! I one hundred percent approve. I mean, who doesn't like a nice, bouncy chest!? Wait. What are we talking about again?
  12. I personally feel we're long overdue for another light armor mini skirt. And I'm all for sexy shoes. Bring on the heels. But, seriously, there's a lot of variety in this game as is. Blade & Soul, this is not. I'm just not going to go around dictating what the game needs to impose on everyone due to my own preferences.
  13. Guess I'll put in my two cents, because why not. I don't make many crafting mistakes, but when I make significant ones... Yeah. The biggest one I can remember is on my Engineer. It was the early days of introduced ascended weapons, and I had just enough money to do the job so I could give her the weapons I wanted her to have. Hopped on GW2crafts.net ready to go, since I never really had a big crafting undertaking prior to then since it was just a kind of thing that didn't interest me at the time. So, I went through all the guides step by step. Weaponsmith level 0 to 500 in one sitting! I was broke in the end--dirt broke--but I accomplished it! And now I was ready to finally give my Engineer her shiny, new, ascended pistols! ... Turns out, pistols were for 500 Huntsman, not 500 Weaponsmith.
  14. I don't particularly care for dragons, so I chose the sea one. Why? Because that might mean an eventual Cantha 2.0.
  15. Been reading this for a while during random lunch breaks over a few days. The only issue I had with the mission came down to my general impatience. It's what got me shot since I'd just try to rush through it. Had to relax, as eight minutes is a fair amount of time for it. Anywho, did it solo on Necro, specifically, Reaper, as it's my PvE and story main, and I generally don't bother doing it with other classes so I'll have no feedback on that. For the first pass, you literally... hop on a Beetle and blast right down the left side. You go so fast, she can't even target you, then just roll right up the series of stairs and start the first fight. The actual melee fight itself, unlike most here, was the irritating point for me, as I dislike health sponge battles even though this one was far from what the game could throw at you (if I wasn't a glass build, I could see myself at that fight for far too long). And then on top of that, she spams evades. I tend to start the melee fights with a Jackal, so I can prepare myself with a brief barrier and face tank some of her initial strikes. Soon as she phases, jump off and glide to where the next area will be. You can cover maybe as much as 50% of the way there before she sets up to shoot again, so that's a huge plus. When she targets you, you get about two seconds before she'll fire. If you dodge roll during that time, she tends to reset her "aiming time," so use that advantage when going for long stretches. And, that's all I really got. The main difficulty was... myself. Trying to "Leeroy" through it. Granted, the poison wasn't really an issue for me as I was using the trait that gives you health regeneration while wielding a Greatsword. But, yeah. Two cents.
  16. Just a random question, but is there a reason why pretty much all Water Skills have to be so severely lacking in damage? I know you swap to the attunement for healing, but it seems like those skills suffer the worst by far. Even more than Earth, which tend to have mitigation factors added in, and with such a low health pool, the ability to not be one-shot feels more valuable than a few ticks of Soothing Mist. The way it appears to me, and correct me if I'm wrong: Fire = 2nd Best Power Damage + Best Condition DamageAir = Best Power Damage + Various Utilities (Weakness, CCs, Projectile Hate, Speed Boosts, etc)Water = Healing + ChillEarth = 3rd Best Power Damage though some skills comparable to fire + 2nd Best Condition Damage + Various Utilities (Typically mitigation, CCs) Maybe hitting things with big chunks of jagged ice could be given the Reaper treatment. Low DPS, sure, but very high "Damage Per Instance" akin to something like Gravedigger. A reward for actually being able to land half of the stuff.
  17. 1) Nope.2) Non-glowing, radiation-infused skin (Human and Norn)
  18. This one's bugged me for a while now. Since the Path of Fire release, pretty much. Race: HumanGender: FemaleProfession: Warrior (Any heavy)Problem Description: Texture issue. Dark slit marks appearing along the backs of the bare skin of the legs of both Elonian Tassets and Spearmarshal's Tassets. 19. Would approve, as long as it doesn't become an outfit. I'll always support mixing and matching and variety.
