My CPU is Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10400F with 16gb RAM. I get 30 fps on medium settings, but less on newer maps, and like 8 fps during events.

There are actually quite a few new cosmetics earnable in-game in Cantha, they just don't look good. 😛

Honestly, most of these positives are from vanilla GW2, which was received very well... but the newer features are kind of blah and only held up by the fact that it's still built on top of core GW2.

Will an overclocked 1030 be a significant upgrade to framerate from a 730 in Guild Wars 2? Right now I'm on the lowest settings with a 730, and it STILL doesn't run well. Also, streaming and recording take away some fps, and I want to do those things.

I seriously can't wait to grind a hundred hero points on all 9 of my classes each, not to mention the duplicates of those classes that I have. Let's not forget that new players will have to do that with 3 different e-specs on top of the basic specs! Then they find out they didn't get living story included...

Guild Wars 2 looks deceptively cheap to get into. Only $30 for the expansions. But they don't include LW stories. It's not made clear that you need to buy those as well. And then there's the absurd skyscale grind. It's not just grindy, it's bad design: 100 waypoint clicks using a guide. And yes, EoD was made with Skyscale in mind. The devs "can't wait for you to explore Cantha with your Skyscale.." Oh, and the framerate sucks. Its main draw is open world, where you get used to 5 fps around 30 people.

not going to read all that, but afk is just afkers and bots my stream viewers get kitten over

I'm scrub ranked and it's a barrier to growing, both in PvP and streaming, because it's just afkers and botters.

It's modern art. If you want conservative art, play GW1 (though they updated the gfx, so I don't knwo if that still holds.)
