The ANet game designers come across as short-sighted amateurs. When they make an announcement about relics and decoupling the six set bonus on runes to relics, they couldn't even tell us anything about legendary rune holders. And it's taking them something like two weeks to put together an announcement, format it and localize it? I've been in software development for a very long time and this overtly shows their team doesn't understand the changes they're making. It's pretty embarrassing and professionally shows me that they don't have a solid team top down.

I'd say that is very debatable. Mirage lost its get out of jail for free dodge and the power of csplit/moa still can't be discounted.

Mirage is still bad but at least serviceable. You're still better off playing power chrono for TTK purposes. Although, the skill floor is a lot lower on mirage than it is chrono so for any person not performing clean power chrono setups, you're going to have a bad time.

Mirage power damage is garbage. Power Chrono has a faster TTK which is undeniable.

Rating/ranking is a bell curve. There is a diminishing return on rating when the pool of players is low.

It's not as bad but it's definitely dog tier. Removal of the block and decreasing Blade Renewal to two seconds is certainly felt.

They hired Roy who has literally no working experience and is in the gvg scene and the changes they've made only enhances boonballs. When that is the heart of the problem but yet they nerf boon stripping. What could possibly go wrong?

Exactly this. CMC and team make changes in a vacuum but when put to the rest and live application, their vision falls extremely short. They just can't seem to see the big picture and it's becoming increasingly problematic. I really wish they would incorporate future balance tests like how they do these betas. Get practical gameplay feedback without it going live and then update to what is or isn't working. This go live push and wait 3 months for decent updates is tiresome.

We wasted countless time going over Mirage and Virtuoso when asked but the polar opposite was done when post after post was made on how broken certain aspects of these designs were. But yet, they made it through only to be utterly gutted later on.

5s to 12s in pvp with 35 energy is pure madness. This is why CMC and his team are not good at balancing anything in this game other than diarrheaing buffs out to Ele.

Yeah absolutely. PD becomes a pretty insane pick over something like Veil and using that with the new EA will make it bonkers. Especially if you were to combo it with Mimic/CSplit.

This "protest" is probably the dumbest thing I've heard of regarding Reddit. It will prove absolutely nothing and will do nothing but alienate people. I'm sure a new subreddit will popup free from these power hungry people.
