  1. Honestly I'd even have settled with converting 6 runes to account bound/soul bound in exchange for the corresponding relic
  2. Show me on the doll where the bad thief hurt you
  3. This is the Expansion of Soon™ Honestly calling it an expansion at all is insulting, Even calling it a "mini" expansion is being generous. I get that Anet said they needed to change their pacing for content releases, but the game is seriously going to suffer if this is the level of content they expect to wow players with. Bugs and poorly thought out system changes aside, the idea of waiting a full year for this to feel complete just sucks. Being drip fed bits and pieces of an expansion over a year till the next one comes around. I'd rather pay full current gen prices for an expansion and get a complete package rather than the promise of the rest to come. But then again, Anet does own the trademark for Soon™, just ask WvW.
  4. Feels awful having an inventory full of runes for my builds and none of the bonuses I collected them for. Feels like being robbed.
  5. Guardian is the staple WvW class. You'll always find it useful. Revenant has its place too, but nowhere near as prevalent. Typically Guardian has always been tanky boonshare or something similar in the meta. So if you are leaning more towards zerg play it's your best bet. Not really as mobile for roaming. If you lean more towards roaming I'd say Revenant. They have a good selection of builds for roaming and dipping into zergs.
  6. It takes way more effort to be effective now compared to what other classes can do for free. No longer top of mobility, no longer the best at stealth. Other classes can do higher burst, and higher AoE damage than our single target. (1,977 out of my 4200 hours in game.)
  7. Reduced stolen skill bonus damage from 300% to 10% in PvP and WvW. RIP
  8. It's not a matter of numbers, it's a completely broken design philosophy. Badly designed upkeep for mandatory boons. Forced to use reactive skills to keep your boons up, when other classes just passively poop them out. They said they wanted to get away from mindless skill spam for boon uptime, but now for scrapper/druid/herald, they've created that exact situation. Check out Mukluk's reaction for a decent breakdown of it. Their design philosophy is totally busted and they don't know how it fix it, they had tons of feedback from the preview and ignored all of itz pushing ahead anyway.
  9. "Fool me once..." If you aren't skeptical, you have been around long enough.
  10. It's still not much of a step in the right direction
  11. KEKW, they reworked traps into preperations because trapper rune was too powerful on thief. Imagine reworking (destroying) a whole playstyle on thief due to a rune.
  12. It could always be worse, we could have been warrior mains. But thief has always had some of the worse balance in the game, they never seem to know what they want it to be able to do. Resigned to a +1 in PvP, till every other class could do it just as well if not better. Used to be top tier mobility next to mesmer with portals. Now everyone and their Granny can be hyper mobile. Or being the king of power burst with backstab, but nope they don't want that. They seem to want thief to be mediocre in anything you build for.
  13. I'd guess that it wouldn't be an issue, since it's more like a key combination/shortcut rather than full automation
  14. I've been running it in Open World, works great everywhere apart from HoT maps. Speccing into the heals has good sustain too if you add some healing power. It's fun, just not efficient.
  15. Many years ago, pre-HOT, I discovered a jump into outer SM using warrior sword 2 skill. Recorded and sent it to Anet. They changed the terrain rather than the skill. Should have done that this time instead of changing the skill.
  16. Clearly they're having a hard time coming up with answers. Not happening this week anymore.
  17. Its exactly the kind of work profession balance has been desperately needing, and with the way Anet had been describing this patch on the lead up to the notes seem really disingenuous now to call it major.
  18. Go read the Feb 2020 patch notes, come back and tell me if this feels like a "Major Profession Balance Patch" to you.
