i bought gems for stylish shoes, and i am trying to reach 1k gold. i skip many things often because before every time there was something nice i had to save up gold again from the start. now i spend all my gems 🙂 bought 4 bagslots.

this is ridiculous, black friday is only for the rich players in this game because gem prices are crazy, just came back from the gym and saw 400 gems cost 160 gold :@ this is not a sale except when you use your wallet. but i was planning to use my wallet for mountainbike clothes and nothing game related. this is very toxic practice, and yes anet can't control the gem/gold balance. but this looks unfair like real life sometimes. there should be an option that you make a list of items that are on sale now and when the gem prices are back to 'normal' then you contact support and ask them to mail you the items that were on sale and take away your gems.

on my main pc i often just use the photo mode from the monitor and everything looks beautiful. no software needed 🙂

I am sure if someone get a second permanent bank access contract for example there was no problem. Also i better get twice the same rare in a 5th slot then no 5th slot at all. I mean i don’t get a 5th slot that often. If i open 10 chests then i am lucky if i atleast get 1 or 2 times a bonus. 4 out of 5 keys are always wasted. If i open chests 1 by 1 every week then the chance for a 5th slot is much lower. i once got 2 times the same weapon skin, i sold one op the tp. The other i unlocked. It was only 35 gold or something. My last weekly key run was 117 days ago. That was the age of my key run character before i deleted it. it’s not worth it to me the disapointing after every key run every week again. I am not so fast with it and it can take an half hour to obtain the key. And if i think about it time wise, 15x 30 minutes time spend for RNG loot, i think thats not worth it. I want to think positive about the game. But this way it felt like WoW when i finished weekly mount runs. I have quit that game 7 years ago because of bad loot. I had a key run character that reached 6 months and is now 2+ years old. I didn’t delete it after so long time. sure i can save up keys. But i can’t control myself there. If i have a key i want to loot a chest. I can’t keep them for to long in my bank. and when i see /age of a character i think i could have 15+ keys. normally when you would get a duplicate you get your key back if i am not mistaken. But the chance of getting a new 5th slot is very low. So no matter what happen. The chance for bad loot is very high. I remember someone here gambled away 135 USD to get vermillion torch or what it’s called. That torch with a phoenix and a flame feather. But in the end he did not get it. I am sure he wish he got it and a duplicate for that 135 bucks. ohw and true, i can save up stattues.

i have the hat but never used it on my mains, only on a bank character for some time.

it's just to reach the goal of 120k money, because in this hard time when everything is expensive ppl are not so fast with spending extra money i think. but with an reward like this.. if you wanted it for so many years i also would have spend money if i wanted it so bad.

i liked the fishing from WoW very much and asked on the forum many times for fishing in gw2, but this game is f2p so it won't have those nice loot drops like mini's or even a mount skin. for me fishing in gw2 is not worth it right now. i better spend my time towards legendary armor or trinket. and in WoW you need a good reaction time (1 time) the gw2 fishing that bar goes crazy without a sound that let you know when the bar goes to the other direction. if you do this often your keyboard gets destroyed. it's pure rng what the bar will do, i don't like it. and fishing is only for gold. but a bit boring to fish 55 minutes for 18 gold without an option to loot a nice skin... BUT it can improve, we already got the ability to fish. thats a good thing. now i hope it gets better, atleast for me.

i have both gear sets 🙂 i made that set a long time ago for a heal revenant. but the problem here was that without a group i can't make easy progress. and they say, time goes fast when having fun. but roaming is not my thing and i have no chance when i get attacked. i can't outheal a player who always doing wvw. i don't know my rotation, i have to read it some time and practise, i just play guardian again for a week i think, before my main is scourge. but now i am thinking of creating a specter build for wvw because then i can target friendly players and give them a barrier. aoe healing is not the best. i also have heal tempest and a druid and a scrapper, ah now when i typ this, i also have a minstrel medium set from scrapper, that i can place on my specter.

after some time a commander joined the map and i enjoyed it. but as i said, without a commander and many dpssers it's boring and i can't do anything with a healer build + gear. i got the gift now and 20% for next gift i think.

i want to be able to buy wvw potions with a pve currency, or the 30% wvw boost has to stay permanent. before i liked wvw but without a group its boring and then 6+ hours looks like ages. and pvp and wvw makes me angry, and i want to be relax when gaming. maybe its because of adhd, and i stopped medicine, irl i am always relax but when i have to do pvp its like war, i become a demon. (not for real) but i am in other modes the anger grows after every time i get killed. and i am unable to fight a whole team in my own. i am a support player so i can't damage back, and it's a raid build. i wish i could avoid the whole player versus player modes and stay in a relax place. without hate. and as always, thanks in advance for the cry and confuse emotes, i really appreciate it.

We have cat ears in the store and bunny ears. Can you please make nightelf and bloodelf ears, or just regular elf ears? i would buy them for sure. And creating them is little effort (i think) compared to more detailled items. And no, not everting has to be from lore... Thanks in advance.

i don't know if someone already mentioned this but you can try a monitor with photo modes. i have a benq xl2424t and i often use photo (foto) modes for a nicer look. so by this option i don't need other program's for other graphics. in battlefield 3 ppl got banned when using reshade, because they could change bright colours and so got an advantage from others.

for me it’s not that I get dismounted. It’s that after i killed a bunch of enemy’s I stay in combat by something and that for 30 seconds long across the map. the only time I get dismounted often is with Halloween racing events. Or the crown pavi…… under divinity’s reach. Also with racing/raging.

Indeed. Staying in combat is one of the most frustrating things for me in this game. Bloodstone fen is the worst. With white mantle mobs. Or at the rats (inquest) in draconis mons. I think some turret kept me in combat. Even when i killed everything. Sometimes before I killed the last mobs another wave have spawned already. They keep you indeed in combat for a half minute. and they follow you across the map for that time. Reason? To make customers angry? I don’t see a good reason why they follow us from 1 to the other side of the map. Just let me do my tasks. Bloodstone fen is scaled for groups. But as a solo player you have a problem. Now with my scourge the problem isn’t that big anymore. I like the build I made. It’s strong. But combat take some time. At least I don’t get killed that often. Ohw and bitterfrost frontier is also bad. Every player gets his or her own pack of mobs at the berrys. When i see a player 20 meters in front of me gathered the berrys and killed the mobs, when i get their, there spawn new mobs for me. the spawnsystem in this game is weird. When I need a boss or a mob for an event i have to wait so long. While this annoying creatures spawn 100 times faster. While i don’t need them. back in de days when I did silverwastes I was many times the person who got attacked. Even with low toughness. I wanted to keep up in chest farm but the group moved away while I was crippled by mobs.

For chalice of tears I gave that person 10 gold. for a mursaat token I could not each I paid a guildy 5 gold. I said I would give 5 gold to the person who help me getting it. He said it’s much gold. Maybe compared to what others tip. But for me it’s cheap. I compare it to the anger and frustration it gaves me. That’s much worse then 5 gold. Why should I spend hours for something another person can finish within a few minutes, then I better pay gold. for the whole pof story I paid 2 guildy’s 20 gold each. I hate story’s. And they carried me in my own story. Also that help is way more worth then the 40 gold. I am not rich. But I want to game relax. I have not the skills to complete everything in game. But I have the skills to obtain gold through open world. for the daily draconis mons jp I paid 3 gold. I also needed it for aurora if I remember. If I read what others tip. For 50 silver I would not even come to action. Compare a hard jumping puzzle to mining rich orichalcum vein. The puzzle takes way longer then those veins and give the same 50 silver in a few minutes (if you gather more veins)

it just depends on what you make of it. a complete set may not seem pretty. but if you are a bit creative yourself and make a combination of several sets and give them matching colors with dyes. then something really beautiful can be made with it. I used google translate for the whole message.

I am one of those, if i have daily's for pve to complete 4 events or a jumping puzzle or a mini dungeon vs pvp where you only have to earn a reward, or kill 3 players or whatever short task in time i go for pvp, even if i hate it. i just finished a battleground but this is big frustration to me, first of all i can't use my pve gear, not my pve sigils and runes, so i am 90% useless. and also it looks like the enemys are from other side of the world with a high ping, this is ridiculous. skill lag, my attacks don't even finish on the enemy and i dying within 3 seconds. looks more like cheaters. ppl say that matchmaking in call of duty is unfair. but thats nothing compared to gw2 pvp. and thiefs should be forbidden, so no skill class, evade everything and then go stealth.

2 weeks ago I joined a group for strike missions and the leader asked for 250 Li. But I didn’t link it because I don’t have 250 Li. I saw ppl link the codes for “proof” (proof that you are used to do more difficult content) but with the many ppl joining it became chaos so the leader didn’t ask me for it. But I thought “why am I not getting kicked” so later someone from my country was talking about dps in party chat. So I whispered him and I asked what my dps was, and I wanted him to whisper it to me and not in group chat. Because I thought it was low. But he said that I did 14k and 17k and was 4th and 3nd place. I got happy with that. Now when I am typing this I remember my first EoD strike where I did 7k dps. That fight took long and needed a few tries before kill. And was not smooth. But with this Li group I got the best group boons. So I did 10k more dps. later the other Dutch person and me went to the golem training arena and I did a few dps runs. After all in the end I did 27k dps on the dummy. I am happy with that. I also got nice dps with my own created build. And a dummy doesn’t fight back and I can just focus on my rotation. So with a real raid boss it would be lower. But It’s nice to see that I am ready for raids gear wise.

This is awesome(for me). Then Anet can steal, invincible reins, ashes of alar, sunnhide gronnling. And many more.

So she isn’t doing very well. But she has fun and because you know her you accept it. That’s good. But why you prevent strangers for having nice features? We also like to stat swap, we are also not the best, but we have fun. And by reading your text it looks like the only thing that matter is having fun. Even when you are not the best. At this point, i agree with the people that most of the repetitive offenders here who want the legy armor want to do next to nothing for it. Think of it what you will, but the answers and reactions in this thread show that very well. where did I say I don’t want to do anything for it? Just change legendary insights to antique runestones or what’s called from arborstone? And about the reactions in this tread. It’s from selfish players who only think about their own. I am a person that wants the best for everyone (for nice ppl ofc) it doesn’t make me feel better by prevent someone else have also nice things. I better advice them how to reach a goal. And about doing nothing for it. We just can have a different collection. Also suggested with gifts of exploration. 2 for an armor piece. thats 6 world completions. And if you think that working for legendary amulet is like doing nothing for it. Then I better stop the discussion. For me the legendary amulet was a big frustration in the story as solo player. Took long. Many parts took more then 45 minutes. With in mind that an instance can crash (disconnect) and have to do everything again. So it was also stress. Ohw and I hate story’s. Its just a fact that even in games, you sometimes has to go out of your'e comfort-zone to aquire stuff. (easy to say when you got your armor with content you like. This is exactly what I meant. Ppl can’t place them in others situation) because, you know, I got what I want so I don’t care. Does it make you feel better? Because thats the good thing on a game, you don't need everything. (you can’t say that for others, you are playing games. For your fun in free time, what if someone say you don’t need games in life. Just go to the gym or other nice things?) you like to play games so others have not the right to say this for you. And when you think the world ends because of this and someone is gatekeeping you ... you should go out and breath some fresh air x).

So you say that soo-won open world boss is no endgame? (Challenge) And I want it for easy free stat swap. You can’t decide this for others if this is Your opinion. Many professions have specs for different roles. Healer, dps, tank. I hate when selfish players just downvote it and don’t want others have the same feature. Imagine something you really want (irl) and someone just say, No. to you and you don’t deserve it. Does that feel good? I don’t think so. This is just an example. Everyone have their own thing where they want to use the armor for. If it’s not challenging content it doesn’t mean they don’t may have a chance to get the armor. They always say guildwars 2 have the best community. But that doesn’t look like when you suggest a feature like legendary armor for open world content players. I know mmorpg’s are about show off. it it’s rude and selfish as someone say others may not have a feature they got with playing content they like, yes, and probably raiding is not a challange for raiders (on normal mode) when they are into raiding for a long time. I am sure they gather the best they can like food, utility, buffs and discord. So open world without a premade group is more a challenge. I am curious if players feel better by downvoting others suggestions. And trying to prevent someone else having legendary armor. this is in general and not personal
