Based on tests they did during Beta 2 Power DPS was benchmarking lower then Power Chrono and some support specs, with a pretty mediocre opening burst. Condi was even lower. They didn't buff anything about power dps going into live. They did buff the bleed on crit trait so that may now match up with the power dps build. No but last beta Obtena did pretty much the exact same thing you are doing now, and with the same avatar image. It really looks like he switched account or account name to Mell (I'm not saying he did, but that's what it looks like). Throw on inspiration and the blades that spawn (illusion) will heal all your allies. That does not sound selfish. Healing in this game is now dead because this is so good that its already healed any damage you have taken and will ever take in the future. Any time there's any sort of challenging content/ elite mob, I'm instantly at Chrono for power for Mirage. Both specs are way more reliable and consistent. I personally can find positive aspects about Virtuoso. But overall, it is a fancy yet horrible and unneeded mess of an e-spec. Now, what I don't get is the misinformation spread here. Regardless of personal enjoyment, Virtuoso clearly doesn't perform well in benchmarks and it objectively lacks synergy with core. Traits do NOT scale up to 5 blades. Core weapons do NOT trigger blade effects. Illusion traits do NOT synergize with blades. Pretty yes. Designed well, no. Just like Mirage. It is the only new spec that can't kitten boons, it's the only new spec that doesn't have the tools to create or close gaps and it's damage is garbage if you compare it with the some other new specs. Then why does it top open world boss damage currently It does have boons, multiple traits and utility provide them but even still it doesn't need them since they can also be provided to you. No tools to create gaps, then what is this? "Psychic Force: Knock back nearby foes with a psychic blade and gain boons". In terms of closing gaps, sword 3 can do that for you. Damage, its amazing. i can burst 15k dps without any boons.
