Thief is toxic for sure but it would be kept in check a lot more by support/group fight specs, if not for this current roam fotm. The only other time I had that impact is when chrono was still decent, sit back and spew out lazor beams of death, hit split for the prequal, no plot twist, just more lazor beams of death; core gaurds contempling los for the first time. Unfortunately there have been some kitten design decisions that makes the class awful to play against.
