TheQuickFox.3826
I use the buttons all the time. But don't need another hotkey to remember.
Danikat.8537
I have nothing against these key bindings being added (I assume they'd be seperate, not one button that does both), but I don't think I'd use either of them because I like to check what's in my inventory before depositing it, and I never, ever want to click compact for any reason.I have my inventory sized as a 5x4 grid above the chat box so if I need to I can open it quickly without it obstructing much of the game, I can even keep it open in combat if necessary (although I usually don't). Every so often I'll open it, scan through what's in there and click the deposit button if it looks full, but I like to see what I've got before deposting so I can get a general sense of what is building up in material storage. So I'd only rarely use a deposit key binding, and I wouldn't even set up the one for compact because I never use it and don't want to risk using it by accident. Zephire.8049
Nope. I've never been in such a rush that I needed a hot key since I periodically open my inventory and salvage/sell/deposit things while doing things and hotkey real estate is already at a premium. Don't need such a hot key. Wouldn't use it if it were available.
Perisemiotics.4579
oh yes, especially convenient to have a deposit function hotkey'd to a mouse button!
SkyCake.4216
I like to think I would. But, I know that I would just forget and use the already very convenient buttons on the inventory screen. I tend to do inventory management while moving between points, anyways. I'm honestly not even sure what I'd bind them to.
Just a flesh wound.3589
I wouldn’t object to ANet adding such a function but I prefer to have my inventory open to see what I’m depositing just in case theres something I want to sell right away. In that case the UI option is just as convenient. I almost never compact so it’s not something I would use enough to want a hot key for.
Mungo Zen.9364
While I don't mind the idea of this being an option, it is not something I would ever use personally.
Fueki.4753
The button in the inventory is more than sufficient.
DD39C89C-1C46-4F28-BDB7-49
Sure, option to merge those buttons would be good, I always use both. And even better if there would be checkbox for auto using it.I constantly have full backpack, it's Inventory Wars, so any options to reduce it are welcome. Raknar.4735
Adding it would be great for the people who want it. I'd personally not use it.
