Its good for certain occasions as are the rest of the mounts.. Nothing beats Griffon for speed of getting around.

Agreed especially as i haven't played GW2 in a year? i think its been a year.. EoD really wasn't very good in my opinion.

I just checked its $79.99 which is $120 AUD. Still hurts in our economy at this time.. I can only afford so many games these days which is getting harder to justify with these smaller contents and less bang for bucks.

Its not just the Aussie dollar though, these companies do not always do exact conversion rates imo.. What is the American Prices for SotO?

After EoD.. Raids, Fractals and so much mtx.. I'm not sure i want a Guildwars 3 at this point. Becareful what you wish for.

My only issue is the lack of content but the price is still extremely high.. $120 AUD for ultimate seems like price gouging.

Those Bandit bosses in open world are some of the cheapest in the game.. they can easily stunlock many classes. Some bosses in Living stories can as well. also some skill point ones in Hot have long stun mechanics like the frogs and the Vampire one. The Night court group as well in hot. Jade Armors as well. Also like the whole of Lake Doric is stunlock city..

Its a test.. Yes i would minimize your play time as everything you do that isn't designed to test these new specs or mechanics is wasting your time.

I know i'm probably a minority.. But i never found horizontal progression to be all that fun here. Most of the time i just feel handicapped and geriatric due to being a more casual customer than a hardcore grinder.. Gw2 Gear grind is way more painful than any other standard level based MMO i played in my opinion.. The crafting grind is real, the loot drops are anemic in open world pve, the hardcore pvp and raiders get everything hand fed to them.. At least in standard mmos Pve levels and loot were fun to progress for myself.

I didn't like any of them to be honest.. The stories were ok the mechanics were abysmal.. Hot - Was a nightmare CC wise, Solo is crazy town, you cannot get skill points without "Skill point Trains to help you" 99% of the time.. Hot release made me Quit GW2 for 2 years or more, i can't remember exactly. PoF - was better the story was great, the CC was still some what toxic, the mounts were grindy.. and i hate deserts personally.. This was the one i disliked the least. EoD - was inane story wise.. The maps were atrocious, the Forced raiding and That End map was even more atrocious, the mount was an even worse grind.. The lack of waypoints was annoying, EoD actually made me quit GW2 for a year. Its only saving grace was a few of the professions. Living Stories - were hit and miss but very hard bosses made them grindy and forced team ups killed the later ones for me.. The mounts felt like slave labor. Tyria was my favorite early on.

Some bosses are super cheap and can stun lock you if you are unlucky.. Its a large reason i avoid Raids and lesser so Fractals.

Yes i agree, the bonuses are great but for those of us Veterans of GW2 who have maxed these things it feels a little frustrating to see this thing in my account if i can never use it.. Also i spent a lot over the years and now i'm sacrificing stuff i get free because i did.
