As a PvE customer Meta is one of my most hated things in an mmorpg.. Partially why i avoid pvp, wvw Raids even etc, because i play for choices.. PvP is so shoe horned into meta you are literally forced to play certain builds or not play at all.. Nothing else is ok.. I kinda equate meta to a very long hallway with no doors and something behind you pushing you forward, playing a game like that is just not fun at all for me.

But they are not hacks, they don't change the code whatsoever What about mods who don't mess with the code, just screencap for example? None at all, you allow one you need to allow all... So no nothing, nada, zilch. Thats not how rules work though, thats like saying well if we allow people to drive 30 km/h you allow them to ride 500km/h. So we should not allow cars.See you are ok with arcdps but you are not ok with people never dying and flying around in WvW which is also a script mod.. just not a friendly one.. But they still use them to screw others over just like arcdps. If thats the case why are raids considered niche and the population doing them so small.. I think a forum poll does not show the full picture of customers.

That was almost a month ago and its not changed at all, still horrible daily. Is that game good? Due to these ping issues I'm ready to hop onto BDO or SWTOR. I wish New World was ready.Its a bit clunky and to play best you need a subscription, you can play free but its limited a lot like here (not as bad as some) that said yes its very fun and heaps to do.. The SWTOR cash shop is a lot cheaper than Guildwars 2 to buy stuff.

Same here can't play at all.. i'm in brisban wildlands server is a mess.

Terrible just like longbow, ranged options are about the worst in the game on warrior class wise.

Yep 1377 ping and now i cannot even login anymore, Australian here. Gave up its unplayable gonna play SWTOR it can have my money and time this is not worth it. That was almost a month ago and its not changed at all, still horrible daily.

You don't need to install it yourself. In a training group or static, it's enough to just have one person process a dpsreport and then everyone can look at a little spreadsheet on a website when you're done of the night. Which will cover role-based stuff like Quickness uptime in addition to just telling you some raw DPS numbers. I literally cannot run Arc locally and I've benefited from it in this way. I've tried to join multiple times people in the raid areas tell me to F off.. They can tell i've never raided.

Ok, then, let's keep useless spirits that only work with Druid in raids for the sake of roleplaying and lore. Spirits are stand alone, buffed by one single trait . Non of the specializations have any effect on what spirits do. I'm well aware of that ? I don't think you understood what I meant. I'm saying spirits are only used by one build and it's by the Druids in raids. It's not even used in Fractals anymore, because of the Stability nerf. I use spirits in my condi shortbow build.

DPS meters are not needed for such discrimination. People were being excluded from groups without them for years. DPS meters allowed professions into groups where they had never before been welcome. That said, people who play how they want because it is more fun for them than META are not impacted by DPS meters. They can still group with others of a similar mindset and playstyle without discrimination. No one has the right to insist that others play with them. The only individual for whom a DPS meter is not a good thing is one attempting to force others who do not share his play style to play with him. So, still, almost exclusively a good thing. You can say whatever you want on this forum but that is exactly what these things are used for.. Discrimination.. If i go into the raid area right now and ask to do raids i will be discriminated against guaranteed.. Its a daily occurrence. The forum can say whatever they like its fact.. I will be told i need arc dps and do all sorts of other stuff and then i will be told no chance or kicked mid raid. It is not physically possible to force people to, "play your meta." It is if they want to join in.

Its a major reason i wont do raids.. its makes the content super toxic and pointless to do imo.. I'm not going to add some suspect mod to my game that may or may not track me just to do mmo content.. and having others judge me using these hacks isn't going to make me do raids anytime soon.

Some people just don't like the game or the company i guess it is their choice.

I pve sorry i have no interest in PvP, WvW, Raids or fractals.. 8 years later i'm still level 1 PvP and have almost no achievements in WvW (don't even have the mount). Not competitive in the slightest.Never once done a raid either.

I dunno about legends but i'd love to see japanese weapon style skins like Jori's sword.

Yes There should be no mods in an mmorpg.. its opens far to many cans of worms and very few mmo's even allow these things without being banned.. Very poor on Anets behalf to allow these hacks. I found Dx9 far more stable on my pc over DX12, i've yet to ever play a DX12 game stable ever... I'm on Core i5 3470, 16gb ram and GTX 1060 6gb and no DX12 anything has ever been stable.. I miss dx9-10 so much tbh.. Also GW2 runs smooth as for me outside of network latency.

Steam sells by countries currency so its a big deal to people who aren't American. Yeah Steam can sell in the regional currency if the selling company (ArenaNet in this case) wants to do that. They have to opt in. But it's worth noting that ArenaNet's current payment provider (Digital River) could also do that if ArenaNet wanted them to. They may offer regional pricing on Steam but may not. If they are selling the game currency on steam it will be in world currency if not then they can't sell it to us.. Steam forces our currency these days, so GW2 comes to Australians on steam it will be in AU currency prices..
