So, you do dailies to get acclaim, go to the reward shop with the new currency to buy laurels, the old currency, then go to another reward shop to spend those laurels. Why not just move the old rewards to the new shop? The new shop has its own UI and can benefit from some more skins, minis, and tonics. Why split the daily rewards into two separate places? This is a weird system. If it's too much you can even put the laurel rewards in the legacy section of the acclaim shop. keeping them separate only makes sense if they're done with this new system after the expansion is over, it having new UI tells me that they're not.

I just read the book Ghosts of Ascalon and they depict the Foefire and the ruins of Ascalon city as massive threats no one should ever set foot in. Yet in the game it's a starting zone with barely any ruins for the actual city. Is there a lore reason for this? is the foefire losing power or something? or did the devs just mess this awesome place up?

Getting rid of the excess effects, The Renyak fight is almost unplayable, it's very well designed except you can't dam see it! All that hard work gone to waste. It doesn't just make it look horrible but actually makes the fight harder to play, you can't see all his telegraphs or red circles. Effects should just scale down when in a big group like mini pets do

Instanced content (fractals/ raids/ strikes) needs their own menu at the top of the screen like pvp/ wvw/ hero panel have. These are amazingly fun end game content for the game, but I still see new players getting to lvl 80 and quitting because they can't figure out what the end game content is. Even a legendary weapon UI could be cool, I've seen some lvl 80 players that don't really know about that either. The menu for the instanced content can even show where the challenge motes are, which raids have emboldened mode, and what the strike and fractal dailies are. Get these things straight into the players hands and remove the hoops new players have to jump through to figure them out. Pls add anet, this is my #1 hope for the steam launch.

I’m surprised you feel this way, while the maps are a little empty I thought that the events that are there (especially group events) are some of the best in the game. A good amount of them have real mechanics and aren’t just a hack and slash. These maps are definitely slower but I’ve enjoyed them. -
I am confused about the ending and wondering if anyone can explain. Why is everything all right after we kill soo won? Hasn't the entire story been about bad things happening when you release an elder dragon's magic upon the world. In the end, aurene says her magic returned to the ley-lines and has balanced out, not causing any problems for now. Why did it not cause a problem this time but has caused a problem every other time?

It’s been 2 days. Let people learn the mechanics and get used to the boss. There’s so much content just do something else. Don’t lose your kitten because one part of the massive xpac isn’t working for you

Don’t nerf , It’s not that hard people just have to learn the mechanics. Give it 2 weeks and it will probably be passing a lot more. learn mechanics, don’t stand in stupid places, have a build that makes some sense, it doesn’t have to be the meta build of course, but it should make some sense. basically what I’m saying is, play the game.- 472 replies

I think you might mine it in the jade sea. It’s a crafting material that can also be slotted into armor. And it is used by multiple crafting professions -
I’ve so far spent all my time in shing jea, are there some bugs? Yes of course, could some things use more love? Yes, but gosh dam this is so far the best expansion they’ve ever done. It feels like a new age of guild wars. not only is it beautiful but all the open world encounters are so much fun. Not to mention the story is amazing. I’m usually someone whose kind of a doomer when it comes to guild wars but this has been wonderful. just wanted to make this post to show my appreciation. Awesome job!

EoD Guild Expansions

I mean, HoT did a lot for guilds, they just havent since 😞 -
will there been any updates too guilds this expansion? I was hoping there'd be new decor or something because they have a bunch of new assets, but I don't think the devs had said anything, have they?

I'm cool with it, it already has the best combat any mount has even without the cannons. And if they gave every driver access to the cannons it would probably break the game. Every player would essentially have a ranged siege golem, RIP world bosses. And encouraging group play could be super fun for GW, the best times I've had in this game has been with others.

Oh my gosh no please, overload it with enemies!!! POF was boring it felt so empty. Nice visuals are well and good but without any content in it, it’s just a painting. I’m not buying this expansion to have a 3D painting, I want challenging and frequent fights.
