  9. The reward for taking high-level structures is denying your enemies a higher score. But yeah, that doesn't matter anymore.I'd rather they focus on making scores worth something again, like granting access to a Darkness Falls-like map. Make it a PVP-enabled PVE map, where raid bosses roam around, mobs drop essential WvW food & oils, node synthesizers give high-level materials. Essentially a map that's ludicrously lucrative worth fighting for access.

  13. Used to do Teq once-a-day religiously until real life kicked in. Got 11 hoards so far and I think I never got one from the Trophy Chest (the lootable statue near the tailbone). I swear I remember getting a hoard or two on a rare daily chest. Could also be just from the way loots appear on the side, this was before bouncy chests were right-click-able so I just spam click to open them all.
  14. Meh. I'd say just keep on doing it. If you've been playing WvW for a long time, you know how much they play or police the game mode. At worst you'll take a slap on the wrist for punishment. I've seen enough hacks that still persist today and people in my block list come back into the game after committing game-breaking hacks (passing through walls, not taking damage or dying, infinite teleports). Compared to those, multi-boxing for scouting purposes is nothing.
  15. Even just adding the one-handed sword will increase my role-playing capabilities to unknown heights. I support this.
  16. Like OP and his team mate, I too, used to get one-shotted with 22k-25k kill shots. Then I learned to dodge.

  18. Okay, let me try again.If you play active style and follow commanders, you get normal amount of pips. If you instead avoid commanders and other players and go solo roam outnumbered maps, you get twice the pips and therefore tickets two times faster in the same time period you invest in wvw. Thus your slacking gets rewarded. This is what i don't like. How do you propose they program the game to be able to tell the difference?Participation used to decay faster, and harder to raise. Pips used to be also harder to obtain. Then players complained. I don't know if the adjustments to make the rewards easier to achieve coincides with more people slacking, but I do know that there used to be more activity in WvW maps past mid-week.

  21. Large open tag zergs are less because pugmanders left the game and because there are less guilds that raid openly, not because guilds destroyed it generally. I agree it has a lot to do with the closed guild raids. So not really the guilds fault but guild leaders I guess. Js what I am seeing I have probably been on at least 10 different EU/NA servers in the past 2 years alone and I am seeing less and less coms willing to run an open tag and more and more closed guild raids. Maybe if Pips were brought in to EOTM as well it would help with queues and less pugs in actual WVW until they learn WVW through EOTM and less Pip farmers?Guilds have been running tagless ever since. Having pips in EOTM won't change that. It's as what was said - PUG commanders stopped playing/left the game.
  22. I like the idea and it does indeed need more polish. How about a permanent concentration check (your concentration stats vs. the invisible person's) that only shows orange dots in a radius? The higher it is versus theirs, the more more times it updates as to where the dots are. It can also have a chance to "critically check" to make them target-able.Radius of checks are dependent on class + concentration value.Only the stealth caster's concentration value matters against these checks.Moving/using skills greatly decreases your chance to check. You have to stand still for a certain amount of time to maximize it. Although the whole idea would make the tactic of veil/mass invis pushes irrelevant. I'm out of ideas on to balance this. Maybe make those skills immune to this? Or perhaps the maximum achievable concentration value would make it immune to checks? That would make some very specialized mesmer builds mandatory in ZvZ fights.
  23. Problem with the story instance "Legacy ". The branded Miststalker was permamently invulnerable at 33% HP. No crystals were spawning to remove the invul so I just left the instance.
