Legendary Armory: Feedback & Suggestions
CeNedro.7560 replied to Ashantara.8731's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I'm really dissapointed that accessoires are still not hideable. I'll probably never be able to wear aurora & co without ruining my outfit. -
HOTS had gliding. POF had mounts. What can EOD bring?
CeNedro.7560 replied to Faline.8795's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
We have that system, although it's called achievementpoints. Personally I think there is already too much bragging going on. Everything and everyone sparkles and shines beyond recognition, tons of titles no one knows how they even got them, there is so much thrown at you that there isn't something reputative out there any more. Nowadays it's even more difficult NOT-to-shine since you cannot/can only partially equip your legendary accessoires and pretty much EVERYTHING turns into a flaming, sparkle, firework, flash disaster. -
My personal view on the state of GW2
CeNedro.7560 replied to BioDio.3476's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
For me the biggest problems are:-visual clutter-chores-inventory clutter-accessibilty -
There are a lot of different reasons, this is just one of them. Yeah, I've got the light version of the legendary equipment. My suggestion would simply be a small step from "doing chores" to "playing the game". It would be more accessable than legendary for the average player. A legendary item unlocks every stat-combination forever for a huge time investment, the fusing system I suggested would be it's forever growing little brother taking little effort to unlock one stat-combination but with every new combination released there's a new little optional goal.

Maybe some ppl enjoy this kind of chores. But it drives me even further away from this game by making it more difficult to get back after a break.

An open letter to PvE players

Pips and Wxp burned me out. They really need to fix this system. -
When did GW2 turn into a grindfest?
CeNedro.7560 replied to Jotunhammer.7029's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
There was always some kind of grind, but it increased drastically over time. Especially when they introduced ascended and the collection system to satisfy the "there's-nothing-to-do-after-reaching-level-80-and-getting-full-exotic"-crowd. It seems like a huge part of the community need carrots at all cost. Means Wxp, Masteries, Unlock-System, Pip's, Stat-changing-Legendaries, Super-rares, achievements, ...People demand grind, people get grind. -
Completing Hearts of Thorns *thoughts*
CeNedro.7560 replied to Eraser.9860's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
HoT maps have the best design of whole Tyria so far. When you like to explore: Don't get the mounts. All maps are designed that you don't need them, you just can skip a lot of those "orientation-puzzles" when using them. When you just want to complete and don't care about that, feel free to get your mounts first, though you will miss out a huge part of what makes HoT special. -
That's not interracial. Elonian with Krytan - that's interracial. Charr + Human, that's like human + cow.. Aw, it's not nice calling Logan a cow... Anyways Charr and Human are pretty similar, just a different skin(there are Charr which behave like human and human that behave like charr). Furrycommunity would probably love that couple. ;)

An inerracial couple... Logan and Rytlock <3

PvE: New Maps which have a progression. Best maps were Straits of Devastation and HoT maps(also traveling and exploringwise, though with mounts it probably won't be possible again), though the eventchains should be more split up/not that straightforward(thinking of an event-net which is linked to many different outcomes depening on your performance/state of other events/... So f.e. loosing an event shouln't cancel the events but open another path). I also really liked the way they released Drytop(split up map). Dungeons: Yes please, preferably the way they originally promoted them pre-release. Fractals: Yes, but shorter and more relaxing than the ones they released recently(f.e. Sirene is doable but stressful). Make the stressful ones CM but the normal daily T4 should stay relaxed. PvP: Don't care Raids: Don't care WvW: Alliance system, fixing bugs, getting rid of lag and less lootbased gameplay(less PiPs and Wxp- focused).
-
Raids are difficult to get into when you don't want to join guilds. But you pretty easy find a dungeongrousp- most ppl don't care about your level/experience(as long they don't request it) since it doesn't really matter. Fractals are easy to get into too, but outside of achievements and dailies this is even less frequented than dungeons- so just join a T1 dailygroup(or when you've got enough agonyrestistance a rec-group listed on t4) to get started. You don't need to have the levels unlocked to play with them in higher fractals as long a teammember has done it.

the truth about underwater content.
CeNedro.7560 replied to ugrakarma.9416's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
I'd love to see more underwatercontent, though it needs a lot of improvement-underwatermount for traveling and exploring-underwater/land skill template and setup should change(big hopes with the announced templates)-balancing, locked skills and in-fight-movement-... Underwater has great potential and could be awesome. Hoping that the next expansion focusses on Underwater-Content since the Saga will be going north. -
spoilerThe biggest story-wise dissapointment of the announcement of the next Saga was, when they hinted that "Maybe it's time for a new pact". I mean, there was a pact(which was nice), we reformed the pact(which was ok), then we created a pact(rolling eyes), then we creacted another pact(eew) and now there's time to create a new pact?Sure, it would be nice to see some annoying character dissapear, but yeah, they seem to be killing the "wrong ones" or the wrong way. Eir's death made Braham unlikeable, while they killed 2 of the most likeable characters: Tybalt and Joko. They also killed Trahearne but the problem stays: Pact pact pact pact pact commander commander commander.

That would be a massive bug. No wonder the ascended ingredients are dropping below 50 silver. I'm HOPING that the bug is that you have to replant if you harvest them (once). Unless that gets changed, I won't be bothering with finishing to 500, because it's just not worth it. I mean, you have to salvage twenty-five food items of varying levels, to get only ONE ascended item? That's absurd, IMO. Those 25 Food items are worth 10s in total? Come on, we're used to pay a lot more for food, and this is a dish you can share with even better stats and additional boosts. It's surprisingly cheap considering other useable dishes were like 1,5-3 gold. Sure, it's more expensive than the 2s-Non-Meta-but-some-kind-of-useable-food, but when you used metafood already before it won't get much more expensive for you(just takes a little time to craft). Making the seeds regrow without replanting would make all other food pretty much useless. Where do you get 10s? You have to salvage 10 level 80 foods for each seed. You yourself point out that they cost 1.5-3g each. And that doesn't count the lower-tier ones you have to make and salvage.Ofc you don't want to salvage those pricy Meta-feasts everyone was using in WvW ^.^Prices spiked but there are still possibilities got get cheap food when you're crafting it yourself/collecting some items yourself.F.e. Tarragon bread for yellow(25 copper each on TP), Strawberryghost for green and blue(7 copper each on TP, other food is cheap there too), and 1 Winterberry pie you crafted yourself gives you 10 exotic(3 Winterberries from daily homeinstance, 1 piece of butter[4-5 silver on TP], 24 copper for sugar, flour and water and 3 karma for lemons). Also Halloween is coming soon, maybe prices will drop then again when they don't change the droprates of the treatbags.

[Suggestion] Endless Primers on Black Lion Chest
CeNedro.7560 replied to Hynax.9536's topic in Guild Wars 2 Discussion
Would be far too good. Though there could be an auto-eat-machine added, store food in it and when the Malnourished-Effect appears it will automatically use one food. -

You also need to consider that BoSaSBSS has a timer of 30 min and the dish 1h. And when you get your own seed and meat(takes less than 5 min) it's almost free:Some CandyCornPudding and glazed pear tart for fine, masterwork and rare extracts(less than 2 silver), one winterberry cake(3 winterberrys from daily homeinstance and some silver) for 10 exotic. 7 silver for compost starter. Limes for 77 Karma. Some copper for water and salt and you're done.Highendfood for low.
