That MINOR trait also gives a passive 1/3 uptime on resolution which is very strong on its own in addition to the direct damage reduction I would argue it is not lagging behind unyielding devotion at all and still doesn't address my question of what makes a 10% damage reduction gm trait op while the average dps gm trait gives around 10% as well. Regardless we are in a 2 class meta and rev is not one of them so I don't know what all the bitching is about.
  2. It's 10% which considering the average dps grandmaster trait is around 10% more damage on average I fail to see how it is out of line. Also, it does typically fall off occasionally during combat so not perma.

From a pvp/wvw perspective I would argue that devastation in general is extremely underwhelming, swift termination is more or less the best trait in the line and is a copy paste of a trait found on ele, thief, and necro which has never been meta competitive on any of them. 5 stacks of vuln on elite skills is negligible, immob clear on movement skill sounds good until you play it and realize how rarely you get value out of it, 10% extra on targets above 80% health is like 2% more damage on average, notoriety is negligible on all non renegade specs as other rev specs completely lack decent might stacking options and renegades don't want to take it because they don't want to lose condi damage, etc. etc. Outside of the grandmaster traits and the 5% damage per weapon wielded which are all nothing impressive everything else is basically garbage. They want vindi to take more aggressive traits yet fail to address how underwhelming the more aggressive traitline is.
  4. How do I put this simply? Traitlines make builds stronger, more traitlines more good, Vindicator is a traitline, it is better to run vindicator than to run with only 2 traitlines, this applies to litterally every traitline in this game.
  5. You do realize that all endurance regen traits/abilities vindi has have been nerfed to the point where their combined effect is worse than various singular traits that grant a bit of vigor. Vindi has a fairly average amount of dodges, you just notice it more because of the distinct animation.
  6. They can't nerf the middle tier of traits anymore as they already basically at the point where they don't do anything.
  7. Rarely ever 1 specific problem, in general it's just too good at offense and defense simultaneously and there are countless ways to tune either down.
  8. Underwater dodge evades for the first half of the animation but not second half, when giving 2nd dodge they cut the evade duration in half but not the animation duration. Another annoying issue is the targeted hits from eternity's requiem target a random nearby enemy instead of the targeted one.
  9. Meanwhile on NA, tripple cata comp nearly beats team USA but ended up choking. No recordings to my knowledge just what I heard from Grim.
  10. Maybe just maybe the primary difficulty of taking a keep shloud come from enemy players defending instead of npc's.

  12. It's amazing to me how people are focusing so much on warrior when there are ele's (there's like 6+ really strong builds) running around.

Dragon's tooth, like 80% of the time for me the tooth is invisible and since it has such long hang time its really easy to dodge too early and you just kind of have to guess when it's going to land when unless you notice little red circle following you around right away and have excellent timing. Alternatively just speed up the tooth falling so that you can just dodge when you see the circle following you around and not need to worry as much about dodging too early. Air Auto bugs out and the animation plays continuously for the entire rest of the match with that stupid laser beam following you around and obscuring any other animations the ele is doing. Ranged builds that burst hard while running away are already obnoxious, animation bugs obscuring those bursts makes everything so much worse.

I speculate it comes down to burst of strength cooldown starting at the end of the cast while the facet of strength cooldown starting at the start of the cast so because if you stand there and just spam burst of strength off cooldown the first one works normal and can be used immediately after activating facet of strength but all the follow up ones you need to wait a split second.
  15. It's strong in wvw, it's nerfed to kitten in pvp, this is the pvp forum, think before you post.
  16. Kinda wish charged mists nerf was something more reasonable than the extreme 60% nerf from 25 energy straight to 10 makes renegade and core rev feel so much more energy starved whereas herald basically can't use the trait and vindi would be questionable.
  17. Selfish only if you only look at sharing boons/healing. Realistically necro has never been considered low utility, which is why it has always been a teamfight class and almost never a duelist or roamer.
  18. Yeah, tons of cc spam to both disrupt enemies and lock them down so everyone can easily hit them doesn't count as utility at all.
  19. I main rev, I don't always ask for rev buffs but sometimes I do, this topic has nothing to do with rev, why are you bringing it up?

Feels kind of dumb that your stability skill can't be used for stomps even if starting the stomp immediately after using it because it only lasts 3 seconds while the stomp animation takes 3.5 seconds, and don't tell me to bring more boon duration, the best option for this in pvp is leadership rune which still only gets to ~3.4 secs.
  21. Block is basically evade but worse and ranger has plenty of evades on their weapons. Of course blocks tend to last a bit longer to counterbalance there being way more unblockable things than unevadable things (pretty much all of which are also unblockable too).
  22. Vindi GS 5 has less than half the range, over double the CD and requires landing 6 hits to have similar power coefficient, an energy cost, and each impact doesn't cleave, so kinda crappy at cleaving. Dragon's tooth is currently better in almost every way and by a large margin.
  23. Utilities use a lower weapon strength than normal weapon skills. So a utility with 2.0 power coefficient is significantly weaker than a weapon skill at 2.0.
