  1. I see the "ArenaNet Babies" have stepped up their server-side cheating since I left. I actually had a ranger hang their AOE arrowshot way in the middle of a tower to down me before, so I already know about killing players from way behind walls/out of reach. They can pull you over walls too, not matter if you're inside the hallway of SMC, they can pull you from there way to the outside wall for a kill. I know this because they did me like that. They target the best players, constantly going into God Mode on you, even though you're legendary-meta built, they have server-side power, so they can even lower your defense and attack power, which they did to me also. It's never going to end.... I got so sick of it, everyday for years, the same old server-side cheaters, cheating their way to wins. What's the point of even playing if you're that afraid of getting beat by another player fairly? How much fun can you possible be having knowing you're only winning because the game has been freely opened to you... They play on your intelligence also... If someone has played every class/meta-build in the game for years, they know what's possible for each class...but yet, when you call that Mesmer out as a cheater, because he spawned 15 clones instantly and teleported away from the area, where only the clones were fighting players (which is why they never get caught by AOE damage)... They wanna get mad and their friends wanna get mad because the "ArenaNet Baby" is allowing them to cheat too. Only a cheater would get mad because a regular player who has been on for years and know all the classes easily caught something impossible and called it out. This post just tells me what I already know... I did the right thing not looking back and now my money is being spent else where. Stop letting these "ArenaNet Babies" get rich off you and have fun killing you in PvP/WvW, with server-side cheating power...because the cheats they do, can NOT be done client-side! Seriously "Babies".... You can take glass build Classes in WvW... The same Classes players are always picking up off the ground in PvE, and sudden become a God with these Classes now taking zero damage and dealing 54k hits. If that was possible, you'll see it in PvE as well and players wouldn't have to pick glass Classes up off the ground so much. Your own bad concepts easily help exploit cheaters like that, it's just sad most players NEVER pay enough attention to notice this stuff (or they're not bright enough).
  2. This is why balance in MMOs never happen. It's always one class player running to the forums and saying "Nerf" another class all because they want to get the better of that class. That's why the Necro Class is garbage right now with the exception of support Scourge. The Firebrand does not need to be "Nerfed" because the support build lacks power and conditional damage, since those two attributes are not stacked. If you "Nerf" a support tier, you leave it good for nothing because it can't deal any real damage either. So what are we aiming for... All thieves, mesmers, "Eles" and Willbenders running around WvW... Lame and boring but that's what happens when developers destroy classes to favor wishes of other players' main class. As someone who plays Firebrand, I can tell you for a fact it's not "OP" in anyway. If you're targeted by most of a Zerg as a Firebrand and you're getting no support from those around you, you're dying. I don't care what class you play, when it comes to Zerg fighting, everybody has to absorb some damage because no one person can take it all and that even goes for Firebrands. Other than supplying Boons, Firebrand is not God in WvW. Willbender is more of a WvW God. The "Devs" need to do something about long range damage. Mesmers are averaging 10k hits from the distance and it's like Boons and Toughness does not matter. Players are doing too much vanishing on thieves and if it's going to be like that, lower the damage on a thief...make them work for it since you have them unseen 95 percent of the time. Rangers are also like Mesmers when it comes to long range damage. I'm not going to scream "Nerf" those classes but balance will always be a joke if changes are not made to allow players being attacked by ranged or ghosts to have a chance. Makes no sense a player can teleport on top of you from super far and then just constantly vanish and reappear right on top of you as you move like a floating ghost who can't be hit, while deaing super high damage. That's the stuff that needs to be talked about in the forms.... That's the garbage that needs to be fixed or taken out, peroid! How many classes do you want to kill? Lets not totally destroy the game by making more classes a joke like the Necro class and I mean it's a joke...check this out.... If I role with a condi build on my Necro, stacking conditional damage... I'll deal less conditional damage than my Firebrand who does not stack power nor conditional damage. How does that work, "Devs!?" Why am I seeing condi damage on a Necro showing anywhere from 100 to 300+, while a Firebrand who's not built for conditions nor power, is averaging 2k damage over time just from the fire tome skill? That's how pathetic the Necro class is and I have totally given up on the class and would not recommend anyone play the class in WvW unless you're going support Scourge.
  3. It's a shame more players don't tell the truth about the game like this. I've been pointing this out and more forever now. If you look at every class on paper, it's not hard to see why GW2 has the worst class balance ever, thus the worst PvP ever made. Necro's have nothing.... The class was clearly designed to create heavy conditional damage and turn Boons into conditions. How can that concept work when you have added resistance to all other classes EXCEPT NECRO and that's on top of their skills that already clean conditions... The Necro's abilities are amongst the lowest when it comes to raw damage output. Marks are useless, therefore the Staff as a weapon is useless. I've seen players jump up and down in Marks and laugh. Necro's have no good Elite skills, it's all slow or too tiny garbage. The Necro generates no meaningful amount of Boons and the ones you do generate, they only last like 3 seconds, so basically they don't exists when it comes to other classes and Boon uptime. I've played the Necro long enough in WvW to know, each build version you do, they all have their weaknesses that can not be overcome. On top of being a broken class, you're abilities deal damage to YOU!!! The only good Necros in WvW are cheating Necros and I do see them from time to time, clearly cheating. This last class given to Necros is a joke!! You're basically a walking "kill myself" class. If you're running Core Necro, the first thing you're going to get is CC'ed because core Necro has no stability and that's almost instant defeat against other classes and players know this, which is why they'll pull you first or do a knock back/down....they know you can't stop it. Everything the Necro has skill/trait wise is garbage. What's the point in a trait granting health on conditional damage if that health is so tiny, it does nothing to help sustain you.... ?? You can stack all the health and toughness, along with carapace stacks and as a Necro, you still drop large chunks of health per damage taken. I've watched players standing still with glass classes taking damage from a tower guard and take little damage per hit. When I do the same thing on my tanked up Necro, with tower guard defense maxed out, I take way more damage per hit than any other player. Now that's either a Necro thing or my account has been Nerfed because of speaking the truth about the game and I would not rule out the latter. I've looked at PvP on titles like Final Fantasy 14 online and that game does not share GW2's bad concepts and brokenness, which is why I'm leveling a character right now on FF14 and can not wait until it's ready to jump into the PvP. Classes are role built in FF14 and dominate at that role. That alone sends it far beyond that of GW2's mess. You can see that GW2 has taken concepts from games like FF14 but did a poor job at it. Yes FF14 run zergs and three teams on a battlefield but it's nothing like the mess GW2 has come up with. Players are not running around cheating the game like crazy in FF14 because that stuff gets addressed and players do get banned. The content is also higher in FF14's PvP. That's more reason for GW2's "Devs" to fix the Necro class and change the bad concepts of WvW because with titles like FF14 having better PvP, there's no real reason to stick around GW2 and the only reason a lot of players do, is because it's free-to-play and better titles like FF14 has a monthly fee, which I do not mind paying and currently is paying. The graphics, the world, the fashion.... It's all better in FF14. FF14's gear is about item level too, the color is really not that important and part of the reason things are so leveled when it comes to gear is the fact, FF14 is about glamor in the end. Even your action tray is leveled in PvP in FF14. Who ever these "Devs" are for GW2.... Just quit...because game design is not your place. Even world of warcraft wasn't as bad as GW2 and all warcraft had to do was change several things about the game and boom, greatness but the "Devs" chose to be hard-headed and kept making things even worst until the accounts started to go dry. Some say GW2 "Devs" are the old "WOW" development team and I wouldn't rule that out given the "WOW-like" things I've seen in GW2. If that's true, then that's yet another reason to jump to FF14.
  4. Lol! Funny how some immediately start asking about PC specs, when a person has played the game smoothly up until the last year or so. If the specs were great then, they're great now. The lag has nothing to do with connection speed or specs, since most players already know they need a broadband connection speed and even the most cheapest of internet now will give anywhere from 25 to 50 mb connection speed, which is more than enough to handle an online game of GW2's status. A - there's an issue with server host B - servers are over populated and struggling badly C - "ArenaNet Babies" are cheating way too much now. Disregard "C", that got in by mistake but "A" or "B" are more realistic reasons why the lagging is out of control. I literally can not play the game anymore on high speed internet. I already started updating my Final Fantasy 14 online client again because GW2 is broken at the server level now. It was already broken enough concept wise but at least you could play without major lag. The lag is recent for me...like this year. If I go back a year ago and further, everything was fine and I rarely experienced any lag. Heck, I have even more internet speed now, so it's not that. The new players have finally done it... I see them all the time in low level areas when I'm checking my bank. Brand new players left and right. If you check America servers, they are all either full, very full or high population. If the issue isn't server hosting, then ArenaNet needs to buy new game servers and spead people out until the lag issue go away; I'm assuming it's not a bandwidth issue on the company side. Get a job cheating "ArenaNet Babies" and help the company buy new game servers!
  5. The thing about classes like Thief, Mesmer and "Ele", is the fact those classes are glass. They deal height damage, so they take high damage. So it's not hard to spot a cheater in a mode like WvW because players on Thieves, Mesmers and "Ele" somehow run around taking zero damage for the longest and if they do final take damage it's always a tiny amount, even if you just dropped a direct 7k hit on them. If those classes were that 'tanky', you'll see it in PvE...why would you not use that in PvE and just WvW? That's the kind of stuff the cheaters don't think about, instead they assume everybody doesn't know the game after years of playing every class and build and try to fool you by saying crap like, it's my build or I just have skill, which is the worst because GW2 is not skill based PvP, I played one of those mmos years ago and it was great. I just came out of WvW because not once, but twice, an "ArenaNet Baby" cheater pulled me through a solid door of a keep so I can get Zerg ganked. It's one thing to do it once...but when 10 other players are 15 feet back behind the door and I'm standing 20 feet back behind the door and you single my character out and pull through the solid door again, it's a dead giveaway "ArenaNet Baby"....normal hackers are not going to pull that off. It's also really noticeable when you take direct control of my character. Guildwars 2 is not only the worst PvP game ever made, but one of THE worst games ever made period because of THEIR own cheating. The concepts are garbage... Class balance is non existent... Why run around cheating players everyday all day long on top of the worst game ever made? GW2 can actually be cleaned up and made into a somewhat decent game but it first starts with the privileged cheaters leaving PvP/WvW for good. Why do that to the ones who sink money into the game...that's no smart at all. Get on your own non public servers and cheat away, instead of doing it on the regular public ones against paying customers. What is your five year old learning...? That life is cheating? Because that's what you're teaching him/her. That's what really triggered the death of World of Warcraft... When that video of a "Dev's" five year old surfaced.... I remember it well, I was still on "WoW" at the time and players... To say they were furious was an understatement and rightfully so; going for long ours for days Raiding...basically inserting their life into the game and getting nothing to show for it but a five year old is just given Raid God Gear to blow everybody away in the battlegrounds.... They started leaving by the buckets load. I hope the same thing eventually happens to GW2, sooner rather than later. I gotta start recording some of this blatant, non regular hacker, cheating. It seems video footage is the way to cause an mmo silver war.
  6. Anyone who has spent a year or two in WvW know a lot of players will run from combat or AFK forever. First off, running from combat is understandable when you look at the horrible concepts of WvW and classes. Long ranged DPS... Teleporting, vanishing.... Way too much so called "CC".... Pathetic Class balance.... Players overpowered in a Rally State.... Pets and Bots overpowered.... Overpowered Blobs because of enormous Boons and "CC".... Cheaters....omg the cheaters.... The list just goes on; so yeah, it's understandable when I see players running from those poor concepts because that's ultimately what they're running from. Doesn't take skill to "CC" somebody until they can't move and DPS them down. The "Devs" are never going to do the right thing with Classes/WvW/PvP, so why not at least reward those players go grow a pair? What I'm purposing is a system that will keep track of how many times a player flees combat (which will be the harder track) versus how many times they go down fighting. Players who don't run and either win or go down fighting, rather one on one or ganked (most likely ganked), should receive a new kind of currency that'll let them purchase items/box-of-claim-tickets/food/etc, that'll speed up the process of getting legendaries and buff their stats more. Lets call it, "Heroic (final) Stance" or "Heroic Confrontation" or something to that nature, which gives the Heroic Buff. On the other hand, those players who constantly flee.... Once players run so many times, they should receive a small debuff and a icon that floats over their character, indicating a coward. Killing a player in the coward state should reward more bags per kill (like +10 bags per coward). Yes, these players will get hunted like crazy with such a debuff but that's the point. After continuing the cowardliness, they should auto teleport back to base camp and get a timeout for five minutes, in which they go into a forced AFK the whole time (if they leave WvW, they don't get back in until time is up). If they continue to stack the coward debuff and it hit max, they should get auto kicked from WvW and not allowed back in for the next 30 minutes. The debuff will clear after timeout, 30 minutes of being kicked or if they stop running and start fighting when they first get the debuff, it will not progress any further and eventually clear up (and start going up towards Heroic). The number of times a player is counted as running before debuff, should be a benefit of the doubt amount like 10 to 12 times. I would suggest code wise, looking at the amount of time they spend in a "running away from combat state" and if they spend enough time doing that...lets say 20+ seconds of fleeing while still in combat... That's a +1 count toward the Coward Debuff. A +1 can easily be converted back to a zero count if the players stop fleeing and start "throwing down" for a +1 count towards Heroic Buff. Non runners should get the Heroic Buff faster than the debuff so if the debuff max is 10, getting the Heroic should be a count of 5. Why? Because we want players who fight to get the Heroic Buff asap so they're on that even playing field, while those who continuously run will eventually be hunted for enormous bag gain. Conclusion.... Such a system would make players who once ran all the time, finally grow a pair. PS, the current participation system needs to be fixed because "Pips" will drop even while you're constantly in combat or being ganked by a whole Zerg. Peace
  7. Is Condition Damage useless in WvW? Yes, yes it is...poor game design makes it that way. You can "nerf" my account some more, hunt me down in wvw, it's the truth "ArenaNet Babies" and Hackers. Think about it.... GW2 is the only MMORPG that features a blob mess.... Yeah. The "Devs" tried something different and it failed and there's nothing wrong with that because sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. The problem is created when "Devs" try to cover up the failure and force what's broken to work. You had good encounters in World of Warcraft battlegrounds...even if you went down, you went down swinging. That doesn't exists in GW2's WvW because everything is either Blob over everything or get Blobbed over. The only other option is to get "ganked" by more than one player roaming or get played with by an "ArenaNet Baby" or Hacker. There were changes suggested that would have reshaped WvW but the "Devs" are too proud to try them. - turn long range DPS to CC and "DOT" only, not high damage because players staying in the distance all day isn't pvp...it might as well be hacking. - either get rid of 'CC' or limit everyone to just one 'CC', rather direct use or indirect use and place a heavy cooldown on it. Yes you can get rid of it and just add it to siege weapons instead of players, with the exception of long range players who 'CC/DOT' from range. (best option). - get rid of super speed and "invul" because too many players can just walk away from combat, reset and go attack the Necro again, who can't reset their Life Force (lame). You want to encourage fighting, not running. - 'nerf' ranger pets because they can not only heal their pet but they can switch pets, so it's basically having two pets. On the other hand, Necro minions are too weak and sorry, plus more control over the minions like being able to recall them back would be nice. - reduce the shared effect of boons greatly, so players can't super blob because of enormous boons. - along with reducing the shared boon effect, reduce the amount damage siege weapons do as well. Again, you can always add 'CC' to siege weapons instead of raw damage. Those changes alone (not counting class balancing) would make WvW incredible. Sadly, that's the stuff the "Devs" are too proud to implement but should have already been a thing. "Typos suck" Peace
  8. August 2023.... My ping use to be around 25. I got more bandwidth now and suddenly my ping is going from 75 to 2833. ....?? I have more than enough bandwidth and speed tests show everything is fine when I'm not running GW2. Looks like the Servers are getting over crowded. Not good.
  9. Necromancer shroud is insanely strong and Condition damage outperforms power by a lot Omg.... This is the most untrue thing I have ever come across yet. I'm guessing this statement is based on PvE.... Please tell me it's based on PvE.... In PvP/WvW, the Necro Class is the weakest Class in the game, all build types. Shroud has no hard hitting abilities, it's just more conditional damage, which gets cleansed and reduced so much in WvW(pvp), it's basically a useless mechanic. I have not seen a Condi Necro kill anything in WvW in ages but I have seen them get slaughtered up by every other Class in WvW. In fact, they are hunted for sport in WvW. Conditional damage can NOT outperfom Power because conditions are "DOT", damage over time, which means slow health loss and when you have resistance like many Classes do, that damage is reduced to nothing to cry about and when you add instant cleasning on top of that... There's no way in the milky-way conditional damage is outperfoming power damage. Power is instant damage! Boom! 7k damage right of the top of you health pool! You can't do that with conditions Buddy! Just hop on a Meta Built Necro and enter WvW....it won't take long for you to realize just how wrong this statement is. None of the Necro traits/specs/builds are any good for WvW. If you want to do the most damage but still get outperformed in damage, then go with the Reaper. If you want to play support, then go with the Scourge. There's really no place for Core Necro in WvW because that build focus on Conditions and Conditions are a joke in PvP unless they're coming from a Non-Necro Classs. Again, all other Classes do what the Necro does but way better. The "Devs" clearly wanted to destroy the Necro Class and they have.
  10. After all the years of MMO gaming, it's crazy to see developers making the same errors.... There's just no real excuse for poor Class balance. Sure, you might not get it perfect, but having Classes that are miles apart in abilities makes no sense. All this 'best players' stuff makes no sense because GW2 isn't that kind of MMO were skill truly comes into play. I've played enough WvW to know players aren't doing anything skill wise, it just comes down to 1, are they a cheat enhancing themselves and 2, are they on one of the better Classes compared to yours. I've seen enough Elementalist players basically doing nothing but moving around and "AOE'ing" eveybody else down to know it's a situation were you're facing a Classes that is overpowered compared to yours. If you compare the Willbender to the "Necro", any Necro Meta build, it's not hard to see that the Necro just does not stand up to the Willbender. All the Necro abilities are so lowly implemented, none of them really provide anything outside of PvE. Necro Boons are weak and too short... The Class kills itself with its own abilites.... It can't stack as much power as other Classes like the Willbender.... The 'Condi' concept is broken in PvP/WvW because of cleansing and resistance.... The Class doesn't have great mobility.... Necro attacks do not hit hard; scepter, axe, focus...you name it, all weak sauce attacks and slow.... Shroud is nothing special, weak as far as DPS so it's just extra health.... Necro traits are garbage, like parasitic congnition because 5% health conversion on conditional damage does nothing at all.... Doesn't matter how much toughness you have as a Necro, you always take enormous damage from other Classes and your protection boons are too weak to give you anytyhing.... Not enough stability for all Necro builds, implemented in a way that makes sense.... The "Devs" removed a trait from Scourge that allowed the Necro to steal stripped boons and replaced it with basically nothing. One second of aclarity (or what ever) with a nothing barrier is NOTHING! That's not making the Class better, it is clearly further destruction of the Necro Class! Now the "Devs" wanna say the Necro should be support...what if players on Necro don't want to play support? As "Devs" you can't force one Class into a role or what's the point in having so many build types/traits/specs...? This is why MMOs suck... Developers that DO NOT know what they're doing! The only reason you make it in PvE with Necro is because PvE NPCs are not powered up like human players on other Classes because if they were, you'll be dying all the time in PvE on a Necro. There's just no excuse for any Class to be that pathetic compared to other Classes, so it's clear the 'Devs" just have something against the "Necro" Class and refuse to make the Class compete with other Classes; which is even more pathetic because as developers, you can't go and hate on your own works...especially when you're bad at development to begin with. Peace
  11. Macros or programs that do the same are being used in WvW. The reason being, you can't look at the screen and look at the action tray both and the way players are able to move around and get off everything on their action bar while totally being engage to the onscreen, yeah.... They're definitely using something to allow them to focus on movement and less on the action tray. That's why as a developer I always said the action tray concept isn't really a good idea because you're making the player move their eyes back and forth focusing on two different parts of the screen. Age of Conan, early in its days, I remember actions being placed on screen around your character. Even that is not a great idea. There is only on solution to fix the problem but I'm not going to drop that here because ideas like mine are worth a #**@ load of money. Guildwars 2 is really a poorly done concept game... WvW is NOT pvp at all! Classes are literally designed to NOT engage in combat and just avoid it all day long. As it stands, players do nothing but stand back, run, teleport, vanish, go immune to all damage, etc etc and none of that equals face to face combat, it's all avoiding combat and it makes the whole game mode stupid, boring and the worst PvP in an mmorpg ever made! I see more and more players taking zero damage... I'm talking classes that don't even have 'invul' are going immune to all damage. Super shields and God like healing just erase any damage done while an entire Zerg is attacking one player who escapes with full health. That's garbage...there's no other way to put it. Even world of warcraft was designed for players to not run but actually fight each other, without all the "CC", 'invul', teleports, super speeds, etc etc and that made it fun even though it was far from perfect. I just came out of WvW and all players did was stand back, run and avoid combat. When ever a player died, it was because multiple players concentrated on that one player and that's another issue.... WvW is a 'gank-fest.' You can toss in players are also going above what is possible with damage. A player can have on max toughness combined with damage reduction boons and somebody will still one-hit kill them or two hit kill them. That's way beyond legendary gear stats. Necro minions are one hit blown away as well. All of this garbage is why WvW is pathetic. GW2 can easily be beaten by a developer with even medium creativity and just some common sense.
  12. For anybody saying they like the new Necro Alacrity change, sad. The "Devs" took away an ability that allowed the Scourge to gain boons they take and replaced it with 1 second of Alacrity, which means it's non-existent. Look at other classes that have Alacrity.... It's way longer than 1 second and that allows it to actually be useful. The Necro class is always treated like garbage by the "Devs", which is why classes are broken and the game has the worst PvP ever made. You're better off going with Demonic Lore for WvW; at least you'll increase damage versus having a trait you can't get anything out of. What's your 1 second of Alacrity for...when the "Engi" has like 10 seconds give or take. Actually, on my "Engi", Alacrity up time is like 100 percent. That's how over powered other classes are compared to the "Necro." They might as well rename the Necro class at this point because it's not a Necromancer and calling it that is a joke. No class should be forced into a role and the Necro class has been forced into a support role by the "Devs" and the worst part about that is, Necro isn't the best supporting class for WvW/PvP! How 'whacked' is that!? You can't roam and stay alive because you can't DPS with any other class on a Necro of any build. Only the Reaper can reach highest power stacking and that max is way less than what a Willbender can reach...or a Warrior for that matter. An MMO gotta have clever minds behind the development and GW2 just doesn't have that and the overall game reflects that, perfectly. Get mad at me "ArenaNet Baby", Peace
  13. GW2 classes suck because they are not unique in anyway and that's due to the fact, every classes does something another class already does, which destroys the idenity of every class. Second, the developers defeated their own concepts of classes by tailoring to their bad concepts in the form of class "nerfs." GW2 classes are a mess, to say the least and when you toss in the pvp unbalance, which is beyond evident, moving on when something else (MMO) lands with better design and concepts will be easy. I'd rather go with a paid for mmorpg done right than something so called free-to-play done as poorly as GW2. Instead of mixing up all the classes, they should have just created new Races and new Classes all together (not new class specs). What the "Devs" did was took the lazy way out just to create a new money grab and they are at it again with a new expansion already, after "EOD." I guess mixing up the weapons is next, huh.... I guess the good news is, the mmorpg development world is wide open for fresh companies. Peace "ArenaNet Babies"
  14. What I can't stand more than the cheating.... Is the people behind characters, who are either hackers or "ArenaNet Babies", who support the cheating behavior in-game. It's evident that they do because when you call out a cheat, they wanna start typing crap to the chat window and then when you reply to their crap, they wanna scream report. Go ahead, report because the logs will show your own arrogance started a chat-log arugment. I've noticed ArenaNet has made GW2 Reddit private, in an effor to silence those who want to tell the truth about the game but here's the thing... An entire new Platform is in the making and I already know a number of players who already quit GW2 and are waiting on that Platform to go live, so they can drop the absolute truth about the game, without being blocked, banned, etc. You can't stop what you don't have control over when it comes to social media and Reddit sucks anyway. In fact, the silencing by ArenaNet has only made things worst and does not provide a remedy for everything broken about GW2. When the coming new Platform goes live and gets popular, and it will, it's going to be very interesting to see users impact on the GW servers. If players are getting mad at others for calling out cheats, that's a clear red flag and total exposure of those other players. Similar to what was going on in World of Warcraft and a HUGE part of the reason why players started pulling outta the game; they just needed to see that proof and what a HUGE mistake by a "dev." Apprently they aren't familiar with that old saying, "shoot yourself in your own foot." This statement right here.... Agreed, nothing is going to be done about it because you gotta first understand who's doing it to you. As far as accepting it, nope...new mmorpgs come out all the time. I'm sure something better will eventually come along. Stop wasting your time trolling me "Babies" because you have bigger issues coming to worry about. Peace.
  15. You know.... The players who are saying Necro, what ever build, is "OP"..... Are players who want killing a Necro in WvW even easier than it already is. This bullying the Necro by other classes is being supported by the developers, which is evident with ever "nerf" they further give the Necro class. Players who put their time and effort into their Necro Main, should consider leaving the game. This kind of thing, is part of the reason why World of Warcraft fell apart. Players who put years of work in their "WOW" Warrior, got a slap in the face when the "devs" "nerfed" that class to garbage and players started kicking all Warriors out of their squads. Necros already have very little use in WvW. They can't Roam... If you Roam on any Necro, Core, Scourge, Reaper.... 9 times out of 10, your dead...because other classes are better built for WvW. Core Necro doesn't have as much Boon-Strip as Scourge, so why care about Cores in the Zerg....when you know you'll get more hitting power from a Reaper? Most Reapers get killed just trying to get to another player because Necros don't have attacks that lunge/teleport you foward and the Necro Class never had any real speed anyway. The fastest Necro Class is the Scourge but that's if you trait for it and slot the right actions on your action-tray. Reaper shroud is so short, it's non-existent. Why not "nerf" all the long ranged damage in WvW.... Why not "nerf" the effect of shared Boons, so Zergs can't God Blob.... Why not allow traps to vanish in time like the Necro's Marks vanish in time..... There's so much the Necro Class is lacking and yet, the "Devs" are supporting the player bullying of the class, instead of fixing the class. How about giving the Necro the right-side of the action bar while in Shrould, so we can have a chance to gain speed and break-stun/etc.... How about making the Necro's marks harder to dodge or add some knock-down that stacks duration per mark, to players that get caught by the easily dodged/blocked marks.... How about adding some stability to Core Necro's shroud activation, so Core can actually do something while in Shroud instead of being "CC'ed" the whole time.... How about increasing the damage of the Life Drain while in Core Shroud, so it can actually be a weapon instead of a feather tickler.... "Nah".... "Nah...." The "Devs" can't do that but they can allow the Willbender to gain almost every Boon right at the start of the battle.... That can't do that, but they can allow the Willbender's attacks to dodge hits as well.... They can't do that, but they can allow a Ranger to rapid shot you to death in the far distance, while a pet is eating on you.... They can't do that, but they can allow an "Engi" and high range DPS you down, while their Mech has you slammed down for 10+ seconds.... They can't do that, but allow the Mesmer to forever be an "OP" class with clones and high ranged DPS.... They can't do that, but allow all other classes to deal greater condi damage than the Necro class, that's based on condi damage..... See, you don't have to state the developers are bad... They are telling you they're bad through their developing! Guildwars 2 is on borrowed time.... As soon as something done right, more so than GW2 and feature quality PvP, players are gone. You can bet the baby's diaper money on that! Peace
  16. I dont get it..everyone says condi scourge is imortal in PvE. That's because players lie a lot about GW2 as a game. There's nothing imortal about the Scourge class...in fact, the closest you'll come to that is building a healing scourge with the blood spec (blood bank), along with parasitic congnition. That will only help you survive better in PvE, there is no build for WvW other than Zerg support. I would NOT recommend roaming with a Scourge in WvW unless you have some cheats up your sleeve. Players will use abilities as an excuse to hide their cheating but it's evident. For example.... A ranger can cast stealth from different sources; stealth shot, trap-set stealth and Avatar form/exit stealth. The thing is, this stealth is only 3 seconds and does have a cool-down between each skill use. So when you see a Stealth-Trapper-Ranger in WvW going invisible at will and remaining hidden for almost 10 seconds, appear and attack for 4 seconds and stealth again for another 10 seconds and repeat, all while teleporting to different spots after showing themselves again..... It is completely obvious you have a cheater because they're going WAAAAAYYYY outside of what their abilities should be. The worst part about it is the fact these players somehow assume you're going to NOT know their cheating, as if you never played their class/meta build before. "Geezus kryst." Just the other day I seen a Mesmer vanishing like a thief....forget clones, this Mesmer was part thief, period! Speaking of clones, you can tell when the generated clones are a hack/bots. If you play Mesmer in PvE as a non cheater, pay attention to how you Clones act.... Now, in WvW, a cheater can not only spawn 15 clones instantly, but the Clones act more like another player; their movement and actions are so enhanced, you'll never find the real player. I've seen Mesmer cheaters even make their clones turn into a Tornado and circle around them really fast, killing anybody the step within. That's a HUGE part of why WvW is not really fun like it could have been. You have poor class balance, bad concepts but the cheaters have totally sunk that ship. I honestly feel some of them have never even tried to play WvW without cheating. Because of this, it's hard to say how far off the "Devs" are with class balance because when I get a 1 on 1 encounter against a non cheater, the fights are fairly even but I come out on top because I know my main class well (being playing it mostly since I started GW2). Numerous times I've had to good fight 1 on 1 and noticed things weren't too far off as far as class balance but yeah, Necro is the weakest class right now when comparing to other classes. When facing a cheater, you don't get a chance to observe the class matchup because the cheater is not playing normally. For example, I had an "Ele" cheater go into this statue of liberty pose and constantly cast this ENORMOUS AOE ability (most likely several abilities as one), which kept me constantly "CC'ed" and dealing damage at the same time. The AOE was too big to get out of and when I say too big, you could have put at least 3 50 man Zergs in this one AOE area! You can't find out about how balanced classes are when you encounter a cheater like that and sadly, they're are A LOT of cheaters in WvW. Just the other day, I was hitting this Ranger with siege who was inside SMC on the outer while while I was bombing him from the inner wall. This ranger did not move from the spot. Every hit I gave him, took away over half his health, so two hits and he's dead, right? NOPE! This ranger was casting full heals everytime he got hit with siege, which explains why he was acting brave enough to wonder into SMC alone against a truck load of enemies. Yeah, the cheaters are the most brave players in WvW, who don't care about running right into the middle of a Zerg because they know that can't be killed anyway and it's these players who will appear out of nowhere and attack you while roaming in WvW most of the time. You'll be dealing damage to these players with a power meta build, but they won't take a scratch, all while cutting through you as if you have zero toughness. It's funny how these cheaters want to talk about skill.... For starters, it doesn't take skill to get an ascension or "legie" set of gear and prepare it for a Meta. It doesn't take skills to understand what your traits are going to give you, based on what you're trying to be, Meta build wise. It doesn't take skill to click actions at the right time. If that was the case, then why are so many hacking/cheating? Guildwars to is NOT a skill based mmorpg! I've played a 100 percent manual skill based mmorpg, that did not even have stats on gear and click based cool-down actions and that's a different ball game from what you get in GW2 or World of Warcraft type mmorpgs. The only real play skills I see in WvW is the ability to cheat and with that being the bottomline, I would say about 90 percent of the players in WvW are the Best players ever! "typos" suck, Peace
  17. There's a shoulder piece in the game that looks like a bear laying across your sholders. We need a similar lion/tiger shoulder piece and this sword... <a href="https://imgur.com/vSZsY4u"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/vSZsY4u.png" title="source: imgur.com" /></a> https://imgur.com/vSZsY4u Only took 0.5 percent of my creativity to come up with this. You can never see my full creativity...it's like seeing God, you'll go blind.
  18. LMAO! This just proves, yet again, everything I've stated about the development of GW2 is true. In WvW, Conditional Damage is dead, unless it's one on one...then it might do something but that depends on class. As far as Zergs go, if you're something like a Condi Necro, you are useless as far as spreading conditions because those conditions will either get cleansed instantly, or reduced to under 100 per tick. So what do you have to offer as a Condi build? As a Necro, your best Zerg ability is Boon-Stripping and "CC." You want to be a "behind front-line staff" using Condi Necro, who can cause "CC" with marks and turn Boons into Conditions because even if the conditions get cleansed, you still got rid of the Boons and that will soften up a Zerg. It's sad the "Devs" destroyed the Necro class not just by "Nerfs" but by overpowering other classes around it. The Necro is truly the rabbit class now. While other classes are absorbing damage, have Boons and can escape battle, all the Necros are lying on the ground being killed out. Even the few weak Boons the Necro do generate, they don't last long at all; probably the shortest Boon time of all classes. It's poor class PvP balacne, peroid! Folks, the "Devs" are horrible... Consider this... The Necro Class is BUILT for condition damage! The Necro has Curses as a spec and Scepter to go along with it. The Necro's abilities all scream corruptions but yet, conditions are a non factor in WvW unless it's a Zerg creating them to melt down everything. How does that happen if you know what you're doing as Developers? What's even worst is the fact a class like Elementalist can burn you down with fire conditions. They are better than the Necro class at conditional damage, even though the Necro's main theme is conditional damage. Of course you have Reaper which is a power version of Necro, but Reaper is lacking so much, you're going to die faster as a Reaper. Reaper shroud is super short and even shorter with damage and the Necro have no long lasting Boons like a Willbender. Bottom-line, unless you cheat, you can't compete as a Necro anymore...not when it comes to Roaming or going one on one. You can only Boon-Strip for a Zerg and absorb some damage so another team-mate don't have to take it but that's it. I even killed a Reaper while on my Mesmer and I can't even play Mesmer well at all (none cheater player 'tho'). Take Core Necro for example.... Lets say you go into shroud.... Here's the thing.... If you go into shroud as a Core against lets say several enemy players, you'll never have a chance to do anything in shroud because you have no Boons, no stability, no way to break stuns...you're just going to get pulled, knocked back, stunned, slammed and everythign else until you're dead. That's supposed to be balance? That's not even good PvP. The 'Devs' are so bad, they don't realize, a quick fix to that issue above would simply be, give the Core Necro the right side action bar when they go into shroud and add some Boon generation and stun-break abilities to that side. Shroud attacks do not deal high burst damage so if an "OP" class can't survive against a Core Necro that no longer has to spend shroud on the ground, then they just don't know their own class. A willbender would cut through shroud without putting the Necro on the ground and several cuts. It's apparent the "Devs" are not listening to the players.....that's the same thing that went on in World of Warcraft. If players are playing your game, they are ulltimate testers and if they're telling you something is bad or broken, it probably is. Arrogance is not going to remedy anything but it will lead to an end rather sooner than later.
  19. WvW belongs to the hackers now. Most players are cheating and they really show it in one on one situations. Glass Classes taking little to zero damage, healing at will and gaining super health shields while dealing enormous damage per hit (even though you have more defense than them).... Yeah, that has gotten old and way obvious cheaters. You're not helping the "Devs" at all. WvW is a poor concept game mode but the cheating has flat-lined what little fun that could have been. It's only about farming legendaries now, nothing more. If you wanna have more fun, you gotta join the cheaters or forever face a one on one where some Glass Build Class is taking next to nothing on damage and healing every 5 seconds with a health shield that's large and stays forever, all while cutting through your enormous health pool, toughness, toughness sigils and enhancements like "carapace", as if you had zero defense. It has nothing to do with playing skill because GW2 is a click action based game, not manual. Cheaters are displaying no skill at all, they're just taking no real damage from all hits while constantly healing and dealing God damage to you. Sorry, that's not skill, that's obvious cheating. You're also making the "Devs" look worst because you're saying they have Classes that "OP" to were other classes against them will have Zero chance.... I know the 'Devs' are bad, but I don't think they're THAT bad. The cheaters are ridicuous...cheating and calling it skill, they gotta be like 10 years old and younger or have other mental issues.
  20. As a developer myself, my fixes/changes... [1] Entering Shroud should grant stability and swiftness for 4 seconds intervals, with 6 seconds between intervals. OR Entering Shroud grants 10 seconds of swiftness. If Necro gets "CC'ed" in anyway, swiftness ends if still going and the Necro gains stability for 7 seconds (ending 'CC') on 10 second interval time (stability only). This will allow Necro players to have a chance to actually do something while in Shroud, versus being "CC'ed" while high damage eats up Shroud, which makes it useless that way. [1b] As an option to [1], allow Necros to generate all Boons when entering Shroud for 10 seconds. Critical hits against Shrouded Necros will add 1 second back to all Boon durations, not exceeding the max of 10 seconds. [2] Shroud need better skills, period! As it stands, Shroud is more of a single target mode with no real high damage or burst. Instead, change all Shroud attacks to be AOE attacks (full range) and add a lot more conditions from all attacks while in Shroud. Since conditions can be cleansed so easily in WvW, it makes sense to allow Shroud to flood the player with conditions so they don't cleanse them all or as an option, add new Shroud only/Necro only conditions that can not be cleansed and will remain until duration is over. This is the first step in bringing Condi Necro back and Necro is built for conditions so it makes sense. Keep in mind, a Necro is nothing while outside of Shroud so that balance of being deadly in Shroud and weaker out of Shroud (damage absorbing wise), kills any chance of being 'OP' but gives a Necro a chance to win against Boon crazy, fast classes like Willbender. The Necro shouldn't be an instant kill out of Shroud either but a lot more vulnerable. By adding lots of conditions to Shroud in "AOE" attacks, you now breath new life in a trait like parasitic cognition or what ever it's called...you know the trait that generates healing from conditional damage percentage (which needs to be increased to at least 10 percent). [3] Necro Grasp skill.... With all the immunity and 'invul' in WvW, I don't see how the "Devs" didn't realize, Necro Grasp is going to miss/do-nothing a lot in WvW. That's a wasted skill as is. Instead, if Necro Grasp does not grab a player(s), it will do an unblockable (no immune or 'invul' against it) root "CC" instead and grant swiftness to the Necro for 5 seconds. The length of the root effect will depend on the distance of the Necro. The farther away the Necro, the longer root will last. This mechanic will basically allow the Necro to get within striking range using the Grasp skill that fails to pull but they still won't be right up on the target player...like toe to toe, just close enough to use Scepter or Axe skills before the target starts moving again. This will also force the target to use some assets like dodge, teleport, etc, instead of just having everything right at the Necro and as it stands, players can just hold the Necro in place and burst them down. [4] Spectral Walk needs to be fixed... If a Necro does the 'recall' on Spectral Walk, all targeting on the Necro needs to stop instantly, period! Makes no sense doing a Recall that puts you way out of range of enemies but they can still hit you or pull you waaaaaaaayyyyyyyy back to them. As it stands, Spectral Walk is broken. Spectral Walk shouldn't be Boon-stripped either. As it stands, you can have it stripped because I've had it stripped lots of time. Add stability to Spectral Walk and add Protection. Increase the duration of spectral walk because Necros have no speed anyway, so an increased durations means larger Recall ranges, which gives the Necro a chance to escape from battle because as it stands, the Necro looks like the only Class that can't really escape from battle. These changes would not be 'OP' because of the cool-down on the ability so it's not like the Necro can spam it and when you throw in other Classes that can teleport and have speed, the Necro can still be ran down even with these changes but at least a Necro will have a better chance to flee combat. [5] Increase Necros' fear durations because as it stands now, it's a joke! When you look at the more meaningful "CC" like pulls, knock-downs, roots, dazes, etc.... There's no reason why a Necro can't have a good "CC" as well. In fact, increase fear durations and decrease movement speed more when hitting targets with chill because I see too many players still moving fast even when chilled...and that defeats the purpose of chilling. The Necro should be able to pull away after chilling a target and this will just add better mobility to the Necro without actually adding mobility. If need be, totally freeze enemy players for 2 seconds if chilled by Necros only (durations stack). Keep in mind, you have condition cleansing, so no way for the changes to be "OP." [6] Staff is garbage! Marks are too easy to see as they drop and too easy to dodge. Since Marks are so easy to avoid, where's the punishment if someone runs through one? There is none and that's why the Staff is broken!! The fact Marks have to be dropped, adds an extra click the Necro players have to make and this is also a disadvantage. Marks need a secondary mode the player can set to true or false (non-trait). The second Mark-Mode would make Marks "AOE", with the Necro being the center origin of the Mark. This change would be major for the Necro because it's a way to make enemies players get back and if they don't...this is why the next change is need.... Marks need to inflict more conditional damage, period! Right now, a lot of players in WvW will just run through Marks...not even trying to dodge them because they don't really do anything much in terms of damage and are not a real threat. This is why marks need to inflict more conditions and Boon-Strip as well. By making this change, you make Marks respected again and give the Necro a change up in how they wish to drop their marks, manually like current or "AOE" style. Lastly, all Marks should land, period! They can be easily dodge and avoided so if a player gets caught in one, it needs to land and get rid of the "marks unblockable trait" and put something better in that slot. [7] Necros have too much cast time on abilities and attacks. If you never played Reaper with a Greatsword, do so and pay attention to how slow the attacks are. The "Devs" made it easy for anyone to see the attacks coming. Simple fix for all that... Get rid of cast time, PERIOD!!!!! Speed up attacks so enemy players don't have time to eat a burger and fries before dodging the Necro. The Necro looks like the Statue of Liberty while casting Plague-Lands...that's how long cast time is for the Class. [8] Increase base damage on Scepter, Axe, Dagger, Torch and Focus skills. The Necro needs high damage while out of Shroud. If you're going to give other classes all this immunity, 'invul' and countless Boons, it makes no sense in having based damage on a Necro so freaking low. It's not easy gaining Life Force back while in combat after it's all gone and if you do generate some and go into Shroud, you're not going to be in Shroud long, which is why a Necro needs to be able to deal real damage while out of Shroud. You're not going to stack 3K power on a Necro like you can with a Willbender, so increase the base damage already. I know this is true because I go over 4K power on my Willbender with Might Boons (exotics). You're only going to get around 2k or a little over on a Necro and that's with Bloodlust sigils, Necro sigils and Food/Utility (no might boons). GW2 is a power first game after all...you have to even it up. [9] Elite skills for Necro need to be revamped, period! Plaguelands is too small, too stationary and too easy to avoid. Lich Form is too slow and because it uses actual health pool, defense needs to be much higher on Lich Form in order to slow the rate of health drop from high damage. As a developer, I would drop Lich Form and go with this... Instead, I would give the Necro and Elite skill that creates four clones of the Necro, similar to the Mesmer clones. Here's how it would work... The Clones would obvious do what the Necro does and if the real Necro gets hit, the Necro will automatically switch places with another clone (player doesn't have to click anything). An enemy player will have to either kill all the Clones to expose the real Necro or stay alive until the Clones expire or if they guess good, kill the real Necro. This new ability can't be 'OP' because the real Necro can still get hit, remember? Necros will NOT be able to go into Shroud while this ability is going on but the Necro can cancel the ability early if they wish and go into Shroud. This ability will only help out roamers because if a Zerg attacks a Necro using such an Elite skill, with all the Clones being hit hard, it doesn't matter which Clone the Necro auto switch with because he's going to take damage at either location, so again, eliminating any 'OP' status. Clones will only hit for a percentage of the damage coming from the real Necro, again, similar to the Mesmer. I would get rid of Plaguelands and instead add this... An Elite Skill that cast a moving tornado of souls and ravens with full range. This Elite Skill will randomly change direction while spinning and dealing damage to any enemy player caught in it. The tornado will be fast moving and pivot around the Necro as the Necro moves, so it will not be stationary like Plaguelands. This ability will inflict conditions, further restoring the conditional concept of the Necro class. This Elite Skill makes players who love to pull you pay because if they pull the Necro while this Elite Skill is going on, they also pull the Tornado to them as well, which is fair because if the Necro is going to lay on the ground for 10 seconds from a pull, you're going to get hit with some Soul/Raven Tornado! This will also make a Zerg think twice about pulling a Necro because I would have Elite Skills capable of being started even while the Necro is "CC'ed." They are ELITE skills after all and shouldn't become un-useable with "CC." [10] I would NOT allow the Necro to get turned into a Moa while in Shroud. That is disrespect for the Shroud ability, while setting the Moa ability on a pedestal. You're taking the "Necro" out of Necromancer when you allow for Shroud to be interrupted like that. Very bad developer decision. When a Necro is out of Shroud, you have your Moa chance then. Also, Moa last for too long and because of this, I would greatly reduce the damage to a player while in Moa form. The objective shouldn't be to get an easy win against a Moa changed player, but allow for the caster to regroup...maybe gain some distance and reduce an enemy's health some but as it stands, getting Moa changed means total obliteration. Bad development right there, it's supposed to be about balance. [11] Scourge Shroud doesn't last long at all, has a big cool-down and doesn't offer much protection given how high DPS is in WvW, even if you're adding the Blood-Bank trait with it. What needs to be done is this... When a Scourge cast Shroud and creates a health shield of any proportion, if the shield is deleted by DPS before the effect ends, the Scourge gains Protection, Might(x3), Resistance(x2), Regeneration and Stability for 7 seconds, additionally, any critical hits against the Scourge while Boons are up, will add 1 second back to Boon time (never going higher than 7 seconds max). Any lethal blow while Boons are up, will cancel all Boons and heal the Scourge by the damage amount and refresh Shroud. All Scourge healing skills/traits will have a 50% effective output while Boons are up (Scourge only, not team-mates). Again, this set of Boons and effects will only trigger if Scourge health shield from Shroud only, is destroyed by DPS before expiring on its own. [12] I would redo Reaper Greatsword attacks and add jump-to slashes and "AOE" spin moves similar to what the Willbender does. Why? Reaper Shroud does not last long at all and the biggest problem with Reaper in WvW is just getting to a player. With attacks that act as a dodge plus short teleport, the Reaper can avoid a lot of "CC" and actually get to fast moving Classes and have a chance to burst. This is why the Willbender is so good at getting inside a Zerg and getting out...the attacks create that swift 'jumpy' movement which makes the Willbender harder to target. The Reaper, with a short Shroud, really needs that kind of attack style to be more playable because as it stands, Reapers are getting slaughtered up in WvW. The only good Reapers are the cheating Reapers. Man I could go on forever here but it's getting late so I'll stop. Not proof reading so forgive "typos", Peace
  21. Harbringer is garbage. The "Devs" just added insult to injury when they released that trash as a new class for "EOD." Scourge, Core and Reaper are all dead in WvW and instead of giving Necros a build that's closer to the Willbender, the "Devs" created a self-murdering class...as if the Necro didn't kill itself enough. The "Devs" clearly have something against the Necro class and went out of their way to make it a trash class, which is why the only Necros in WvW are newer player Necros and die-hard Necro players that put so much work into their Class and refuse to give up on it so easily. I know the feeling but you gotta eventually move on to Willbender or forever have no real chance of staying on your feet in WvW. I can't even play my Mesmer class well in WvW at all because I don't practice it enough, but yet I manage to kill a Reaper who attacked me. I thought I was a dead because I was on a Class I couldn't handle but ended up winning... That's sad. A Reaper dying to a mesmer that didn't know how to "mesmer-it-up." That's how pathetic the Necro class is now. It's basically a PvE Class, not built for PvP/WvW in anyway. If you're getting Legendary for your Necro from WvW, do it while on another class. No point in dying so much on a class that doesn't pack any real sustain nor burst damage. I get more sustain on my Willbender triggering a lot of Boons versus Shroud in Core Necro, which gets 'DPS'ed' down in two seconds and you have no real burst nor stability in Core Shroud. You can't even help a Zerg good as Core because the no stability issue will get you pulled into an enemy Zerg everytime. Necro is a slow class... How can anyone not notice it... All Necro attacks are advertised...the animations are so slow and this also puts you at a huge disadvantage. Marks can be easily seen and dodged. My Willbender attacks are right then with high burst damage. No such thing while on a Necro. The best Reapers in WvW are cheating Reapers and a lot of players are cheating. Just the other day or so, a Ranger starting cheating while I was cutting him down with my Willbender. He used the 'invul' but when that was over, he went into God Mode, did a full heal up (while standing in place taking Willbender damage) and then casted an attack that's not even an attack at all, it was an environmental hack. I lost interest in the fight and wouldn't give him the pleasure of a cheat win so I hit 'invul' and left. Don't got time for cheaters. The highlighted thing is the fact I left the cheater. On a Necro, you can't leave, you either win or die because the Necro is the worst class in the game as far as getting out of combat. Some cheaters will hold you in place with a super huge, constant "CC", area of effect that's not even a normal game attack. Had that happen during a Temptest attack while roaming. Cheaters turn it on when they got you one on one with no other eyes around. The "Devs" are clearly not going to fix the Necro class, so it's a dead Class and when you start having dead Classes in an MMORPG.... World of Warcraft Warrior Class.... You're already on the right path to burying an MMO. 'Typos' suck, Peace
  22. As it stands in 2023, Necro has no defense...no matter how much toughness, vit or carapace you stack, you're always going to take damage like paper even 'tho' Necro isn't a paper class like thief, 'eles' and mesmer. In fact, those paper classes have more sustain than the Necro (with hacking or ArenaNet Babying). The "Devs" some how concluded the ridiculous theory that Necro's shroud is enough defense, when you're spending more time out of shroud than you are in shroud, especially since you can't instantly fill Life Force when it drains. Necro is the worst class concept of all the classes. In order to get any real boons, you have to run Scourge and steal them. Here's the issue with that... Too many players are running around immune to the Necro or they cast 'invul.' They may not have many boons to steal or ones that are not as helpful to the Necro. Necro boons come and go super fast, so there's no sustain from them anyway. If you want the most boons, you wanna steal from a larger group like a Zerg but the thing is, you're going to die trying to run through a Zerg to steal boons. If you want sustain, get on a Willbender, end of story.... The Necro class is dead. Funny thing.... I was playing around on my Mesmer in WvW and I don't play Mesmer well at all. A Reaper attacked me and I ended up killing the Reaper without really knowing what to do on the Mesmer and sure didn't do much at all. Yeah.... THAT'S HOW DEAD THE NECRO CLASS IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. I don't know why players refer to Necro shroud as a second health bar because it's not tied to health. A second health bar would be an actual yellow bar in front of health or completely replacing it, which players in WvW magically run around with all the time absorbing all damage forever. Hell, damage raise their health instead of dropping it... Straight cheaters. The problem with shroud, speaking of Core and Scourge, is the fact it provides no BURST damage! Core Shroud has a weak base blast that does nothing, a weak fear that will most likely fail do to immunities. No stability means you get "CC" ganked and shroud is wasted. Folks, I just got done rolling with my Willbender and holly "gawd"... Even with Exotic gear on my "WB", I absorbed damage like crazy! I killed I don't know how many players. The sweetest part is the fact, the moment I got hit on my "WB", at least five Boons auto kicked in and that's not counting the other Boons I manually started. The Willbender attacks allow for hard to hit movment and can allow you to escape a lot if needed (use 'invul' if necessary). As someone who's main is Necro... I can tell you, the Necro is garbage compared to the Willbender. I don't know what the "Devs" are doing and why they decided to destroy the Necro but they did. You CAN'T absorb damage outside of shroud as a Neco and that's fact! I only had 2.9 toughness on my Willbender and never felt any real fear of going down. I have had around 4k, if not more, toughness on my Necro, combined with carapace stacks and still take damage like my defense is Zero. IT'S BUILT IN THE CLASS! Necros CAN NOT absorb damage unless in shroud but that's not fair because shroud goes really fast because of high damage and the fact you have no right-side action bar while in shroud and you have no really high damage, hard hitting skills in shroud, Necro is offically one of the worst, if not the worst, class in all of GW2! Even a Ranger's pet is more deadly than a Necro! Look at the Necros base damage on all weapons except Great Sword.... The damage is too low to kill anybody! My Willbender's base damage on weapons is WAY higher than any base damage the Necro has! That's why Reaper is the only damage dealing class for the Necro because the Great Sword has the best base damage but what kills the Reaper... That fact Necros defense is always ZERO! You always take high damage no matter what and because of this, it's impossible at times to get close to any player because of the high ranged DPS and "CC." So if my Necro's zero defense is not a class thing, then it's an "ArenaNet Baby" Account 'Nerf' thing but it's there. The Necro is really NOT a fun class to play and it's just more proof of how poorly the PvP is in GW2 when it comes to class balance alone. If the "Devs" just gave the Necro more Boons like the Willbender (at least core and scourge) and allow the class to absorb some damage outside of shroud, that alone would allow the class to use other abilities more instead of always trying to get to shroud because of the "Zero Defense Built In Effect." Again, shroud has no real high burst damage because like the class, it's based on conditions but conditions are dead in WvW. Most damage is going to come from base-hit-power. The highest conditions in WvW come from siege and other classes. Reaper shroud.... "Gawd".... It's over before you even start it and given the "zero defense effect" out-side of shroud, it's no surprise I'm seeing more Necros of all specs hitting the ground more than any other class in WvW. Seriously....that's lame! No defense no matter how much toughness and carapace gets stack...you just defeated the purpose toughness attribute for Necros and made carapace worthless. How much more worst can the developers get... How much more pathetic are they going to make the Necro class... It's already a target-dummy class. PS, I have a Mesmer and can find nothing in the specs that would justify WvW Mesmers who instantly create 10+ clones right a fight start. Sure has heck can't justify the Mesmers who's clones circle around them like a storm, killing everything in path. Cheaters keep coming up with new stuff...amazing. "Typos" are us, Peace
  24. GW2 has too many "dang" shaders that are not necessary. Good textures, lighting and basic bump mapping is all that's need for any game. Special effects do not need to be over-done, all you're doing is baking a gpu. Guildwars 2 is the only game that makes my PC a little too warm for comfort and that's saying a lot given how modern PC games use the gpu and shaders. The word here is, optimization. Given how bad the game concepts are, especially in WvW/PvP, one can only expect the entire structure of the game to be under par.
