The unfair nerfs on warrior

The february 2020 balance patch was good, but have some notorious unfair nerfs for warrior:

-Frenzy to 45s CD, it's similar to Quickening Zephyr and this thing have 40s CD (even less if traited).
-Featherfoot Grace on 45s CD, similar to Quickening Zephyr aswel, and got an even bigger nerf with the resistance change, untouched.
-Leg Specialist from 5s ICD to 12s ICD while ranger pumps pulsating chains like a maniac.
-Full counter (a skill that you can't proc by your own btw), coefficient from 0.5 to 0.1 which was meh, a valid tradeoff for getting more CC duration on that skill, from 1s to 2s, but wait, you nerfed that, now it's on 1s and coefficient still the same, and just because you wanted to nuke the only warrior meta build in favor to core healguard being busted and the only meta support in this game.
-Untouched revenge counter, no resolution while resistance got nuked, still copies condition instead of "reflecting" them and 20% damage boost on 0.1  wow.
-Headbutt, 50% damage increase on 7 dmg (wow) for removing all of your own stab.
-Etc.

I'm not even asking for a buff, just stop giving unfair nerfs to warrior.

Oh yeah, and don't even forget that if it's not for a bug on a discipline trait, bursts could be even longer, 10s FC instead of 8, and 8 seconds burst instead of 6, yeah, warrior could be even worse if not for a bug.

Shhh! Don't tell them about that! FC is actually 12s without disc.... And Berserker would be even more unusable...

Seriously, though, giving warrior better access to resistance and lowering burst CDs (including berserk mode and FC) would go a long way towards providing an alternative to discipline. And I'm not trying to get into another "make fast hands baseline" debate, but I think providing alternatives to warriors sprint and versatile power would be hugely important if you want to diversify trait line combos.

I remain adamant that Revenge Counter should transfer conditions and increase base damage to 1300 (with a .01 coefficient). This makes it useful in clearing, gives resistance, and makes it do enough damage to kill a Mesmer clone on crit if you have 200% crit damage. This would make it a trait on par with magebane tether.

If necessary, have it function like the Necro Scepter 3 trait, where the the actual skill changes, name and all. Then make the coloring different (make it red instead of yellow) so enemies know it’s revenge counter instead of full counter.

The best unfair nerf was when they changed Resistance. Which nerfs Warriors without them even having to put Warrior in the notes, Healing signet going from protection against all conditions to just non-damaging conditions with no buffs or anything to its duration like they gave other classes, like Anet just forgets Warriors exist.

When they do the alleged post EoD balance [Promised (TM)] I'd like to see Healing Signet changed to this:

Healing Signet:
Passive: 344 (0.05) healing per second (no fcking splits 344 isn't even that egregious...)
Active: Heal for 2330 (0.5). Gain Resistance, Protection, and Resolution for 6s.

In the Defense traitline I would add an effect that causes Resolution and Resistance to cleanse 1 condition when applied or expires/stripped/corrupted/stolen, 1s icd per boon ( meaning that Healing sig would cleanse 2 conditions, then 2 more if the boons run their course. If they are stripped immediately no condi would be cleansed).

Yes I buffed the scaling on the active use. Yes, I did not put a split there. Yes, I know what I did there.

I kittening dig that!

Imagine a Red or well more bright or diff Full Counter with Revenge traited (just merge current Guard Counter with it and add some Reso, allowing for a Meditation trait).

Or imagine a dark red Berserk Mode etc with a GM option.

Lol imagine changing skills based on traits....Nah not on warrior..

Can Forceful Greatsword change 100b to something that is worth using?

Can Crack Shot change all the core ranged F1s to be useful/not rooted?

Can Blademaster change Flurry to not be rooted, and gain evade/block frames?

Can Sundering Mace cause mace CC's to deal damage based on the breakbar damage *10 to foes it CCs?

Can Bladesworn not suck?

So, so very much this. Though I washed the stench of Bladesworn off my hands after the last beta; at this point I couldn't care less about the e-spec 😒

Hah if only, that would require them to put "buff" and "warrior" in the same sentence, might get someone fired.
Cause that's not even that strong still compared to other classes accesses to these things yet would be a great boon for Warriors. Decent heal and some nice boons to help after using it as you lose the passive, a great panic button.
Seems like a lot is riding on what the balance patch does.

Too much is riding on it.

I just kinda give up on warrior having any hope of balance that's not nerfs.

Sucks it's my favorite class. It's not just PVP, it's neglected everywhere. Even with bladesworn, warrior will still keep the banner slave designation.

If anyone wants to play warrior, just establish the mentality that warrior is solid example of life is unfair and you want to succeed you have to try 5x harder than everyone else, don't expect things to get easier or to go your way. The silver lining is that when you do succeed, you know without a doubt that it is your own skill at the class that lead to your success.

Very much the lat line... I was doing a classic Core build the other day and roaming with friends who were returning from the red EB pawn back on Umberglade. 4 blues were going towards a zerg fight and saw me in the camp.

With some proper kiting and smart use of my CDs I managed to win my first 1v4 and tho 1 of them, was a Zerg Herald the other 3 were roamers, tho ye, probably not very good players in the first place. Compare the happiness of a core warrior defeating 4 enemies and what they go through with a core trailblazer necro doing the same..

Well, on the bright side at least its fun to do warrior mirror duels. That is the peak fun I've had pvping in this game, the rest is just garbage in comparison.

From that POV, yeah, warrior is balanced. Too bad they stopped there with the balance, but oh well.

Yeah, mirror warriors are fun to see and do, you don't really wanna see a weaver vs weaver, condi mirage vs condi mirage, core necro vs core necro, etc.
