Kuma.1503
If Chrono is being forced to choose between quickness and Alac, Herald will be the only class capable of providing Quickness AND Alacrity thanks to Salvation. This, on top of bringing fury, ~10-12 stacks of might, protection, empowered regen, swiftness, and some vigor. It will also be able to bring assassin's presence, projectile reflects, great breakbar damage, cleanses, and phenomenal burst healing output. Unless Revenant loses Alacrity in Salvation, Herald will be STACKED. Edited June 22, 2022 by Kuma.1503 1 1

True, but they may start running Charged Mists to compensate. Plus Glint isn't that energy intensive

If it does, you should be able to maintain perma prot by just double tapping with Dragonic echo and legend swapping on CD. It's already close to permenant on power herald with no boon duration by letting it tick for one auto attack chain then tapping it again and letting Echo do the rest. Vidit.7108
IDK, I'm pretty skeptical of that. If people find a way to provide might, fury, protection, quick and alacrity, and still heal, something is getting nerfed. Taking ventari still means no stability though. HealQuick Herald would still probably pair better with other alac providers than a heal scrapper does.
Dahkeus.8243
I doubt this, highly. Quick will only come from Herald, which can’t provide the Orders alc that Renegade has and it can’t prolong the Ventari quickness like Vindicator can. Will it be able to provide some alac with quickness? Maybe, but not likely to be 100% and that’s assuming it will still have Ventari alac after the salvation line changes.

draxynnic.3719
Reeeeeally depends on implementation. Unless they're completely discarding the Draconic Echo theme, for instance, maintaining quickness will probably require consuming facets as quickly as possible, which will likely make it hard to make use of Charged Mists. It'll probably be like where they're going with chrono, where you can do either with the specialisation, but in practice you can't really do both in one build. Or they'll just remove the alacrity from Ventari.
Obtena.7952
In theory .. this build exists. In practice, not a chance most people could reliably pull it off. Edited June 23, 2022 by Obtena.7952 1

I dont think Anet will leave tablet boons as they are, btw tablet also can provide a puny 1 migh on alacrity apliance. Im expecting loss of alacrity for other boons, thing is if tablet starts to provide several boons means for every boon will also provide might. lunaeclipse.6843
Herald already can not maintain permanent alacrity. Wont happen. + you have to give up jalis stability, which heal mech does not have to trade off for.
aymnad.9023
I have not seen a healer herald in a while. It reminds me of the first raid training commander I met (many years ago). The healing was really good and he kept boons well. I am not sure it will be meta, we need to see how they can keep the boons in a group (maybe in coordinated squads with something to extend boon durations?), but if they keep pushing boons on the dps builds (might / fury) it could be easy to play and strong. Zhaid Zhem.6508
Quickness herald would already be good if others facets are unchanged. Don't forget herald also gives +20% BD or +2sec to the group with facet of nature, which is nice buff for support renegade, mechanist etc.
