This class needs better/more pulls/knockbacks

Something that you notice from fights that needs pulls/knockbacks, is the lack from these on warrior, spellbreaker pull is meh, you can't activate it like other pulls, you need to move, which is a problem if you can't move more due to an AoE, etc, hammer 4 knockback is pretty small, using stomp is not that great (and no PvE warrior builds needs stomp, its CD is also longer than PvP). 

It would be nice having the pull of reaper GS5, DH F1, Guard GS5, Rev Mallyx pull, etc.

I always thought that chains should be implemented for warrior. It's a common move in fantasy games for warriors to pull with chains to close distance.

Imho:

Magebane tether needs the activation and pull distances reduced to 240.

Throw bolas needs a flip over to pull, this has been asked for for years btw.

GS4 could pull targets on the projectile return.

I'd love for Stomp to pulse like Harmbinger Shroud's CC ability. We stomp the ground so hard, that we literally create seismic aftershocks after the initial impact.

And maybe make it a point-blank ability, instead of a ground-targetted one.

What the game needs now in terms of cc is to decrease them, not increase them XD
Although some skills do need to be polished, such as Kick and Throw Bolas, the Kick would give it more push, since that's what it is for and Throw Bolas or they change it like the one thrown by the Keep Lord that attracts when returns or just take it that knock down for 1s, immobilize for 3s and disable for 6s

I'd love to see a pull on GS4. Many other professions have some form of CC on their GS to set up combos; ours could sorely use one.

 

I'd also like to add an effect that CCing a thief or Mesmer causes their game to uninstall.

 

I'm only truly serious about one of these proposals, but I'll let you all guess which one it is.

Kick knockback is very small and Wild Blow was changed, it's now a knockdown.

I use it sometimes out of boredom just to bully necros.

I used to use kick back when CCs did damage. It also had synergy with body blow and the old merciless hammer trait. Where it caused confusion on interrupt.

That'd be me.  I've used Kick on Vale Guardian and Samarog.  EDIT: Also Qadim 1, but that was because the pulls were bad.

I used to use it on a PvE SpB build to help maintain stability uptime through Brave Stride, but that's about it.

In general, as a profession that works best in CQC, I really don't want to be pushing mobs away from me.

Saying that, Staggering Blow can create some nice respite in  situations where you're getting bum-rushed by lots of mobs.

Oh, also, I always thought it was a cop-out on ANet's behalf that you can't push / kick mobs off of ledges / bridges / cliffs.

You can do this to other players, so it should work for mobs too.

So the chances for another offhand weapon are really slim. Focus might be possible as a signaling weapon for the warrior (like the gunbai, a fan used by Japanese military leaders to give signals to troops on the battlefield), but I think staff or shortbow are the most likely candidates in the next round.

Given general treatment of Warrior over the last seven+ years, especially after getting melee Pistol (which is the absolute opposite what people asked for), I won't put it past them to give Warrior the most unreasonable specialisation weapon possible.
