Sniff broken?

The sniff skill on my warclaw doesn't seem to pick up enemies anymore, even when visible enemies are standing right in front of me. I've had another guildie say theirs doesn't work either. Is anyone else having this same problem?

Sniff has been broken since the beginning.

it is suppose to pick up SCENT within 5000 radius, which should include invisible players, but it doesn't. 50% of the time, enemy is right there and sniff doesn't pick up the SCENT and what is with the 60s cooldown, as if my warclaw nose is broken

it works most of the time, but yeah, lately I've noticed that it fails sometimes (it failed like 2 or 3 times today).

Clicking Sniff while jumping with the warclaw puts it on cooldown without the skill triggering.

I've had some (random) success at resetting this by zooming out/in on the mini-map. Also works sporadically for showing friendly players in mini-map.

Saying this, it's still a wildly random thing if sniff works for me.

And can someone please explain to me, wtf that stupid ding is supose to mean? And if u say it means there is a invisible player near, i'll headbutt u! Cause THAT IS DEFINITILY NOT THE CASE! Its just randomly dings every now and then, enemy or no enemy 😮‍💨

Also dings if you sniffed while there's a dead opponent nearby who hasn't respawned.

In a bizarre condition, sniff will permanently return a 'ding' if an enemy is in your squad.

speaking of dead enemy and sniff, can Anet please remove them from the sniff. It is already annoying having to search for invisible players, I don't need corpses location to confuse the situation further.
