But if you are side noding why would u rotate to a team fight unless they 100% need some extra support - 50% of the time you can go for beast. Also trying to plus a fight before respawns occur isn’t helpful they don’t need 2 extra ppl at a side node just becuz respawns will come in 20 secs, again u might as well get beast and then plus. Beast is often 100% the most optimal play possible and this is even more important in crunch time making beast a super important source of points in addition to giving small stat boosts to your team

Never do beast is good advice for 90pct of the pvp community. There are exceptions to this rule, but if you're not high rated, you probably wont be able to make an accurate assessment of the situation fast enough anyway. So many bad players think this map is mainly about the beast casino. I always tilt if some noob rings that minimap ping bell like its christmas just because a beast will spawn in 10 secs.

the biggest tilter, you +1 your teammate and he just leaves you in unwinnable matchup to do the beast. OOFthere is ALOT of good ways to snach the beast quickly, alot of the sidenoders can pop it in 3-10s. and the stat boost helps ALOT.but you need to know how to read the map and pay attention to make the right call, agree with the 10%, if even less.

The thing is that if you go beast when there is ANY fight going on you're leaving your team in a bad spot no matter what. The times that you can beast effectively are exceptionally rare. And the stat boost means absolutely nothing.

Ellesee is right. If you've never played on a team then please PLEASE PUHLEESZ DO NOT GO BEAST!!!!!!!

Beast is more knowing how and when to take it. "Never" is not the correct answer, but neither is "always." For me it's about time management and build effectiveness.

Say there's a 5v4 midfight involving 2+ guardians and/or weavers from either team and I'm playing core thief... I'm probably not going mid, but I can steal both beasts and decap far easily if my team is at least competent at surviving.

But say I'm gunflame memezerker with unblockables in a similar situation. You better believe I'mma go yeet some gunflames mid to try and win that fight.

Those are just examples, but a lot of beast plays come down to assessing the value of such a play.

It doesn't matter if your build kills creature in 3s when winning/losing is a matter of split-second decisions. You still have to factor in travel time to creature that can be used to travel to a point or cover beach, etc. The ultimate goal is map control. If a decision doesn't result in more map control for your team, then there's almost always a better decision you can make.

No dude, if you have numbers, the equivalent of another team fight added to your score is nothing but beneficial. Likewise and said, it's just another "Too hard to manage, let's ignore it" type of deal. You play well or you don't.

It really depends on the situation, if the enemy just lost several players and they might even be bleeding out or still respawning it's a useful thing to do. I'd say the general rule of thumb is if you can do it without losing a player or a cap, it's fine. Getting decapped on one node for it isn't amazing but not disastrous, it depends on the matchup if it's worth. But there are even situations where you lose nothing for it, for the reasons Trevor pointed out.

Took me a long while to be comfortable afking on my node if there isn't a pressing reason to do otherwise. Hardest part of side noding is knowing when to stay put.
