  1. Beautiful quote but this is a Game not an injustice to human rights 😂
  2. It's optional and there's plenty of time/other WV tasks to be able to unlock all temporary/limited WV rewards each 3+ month WV reward update. Legacy rewards tab even gives you the chance to get the temporary unique rewards you missed out on from previous WV update.
  3. Yes anet's communication is not great at times, but not sure how the current posting of many threads on the same subject is supposed to solve anything. Anet probably have not brought back the runes for the following reasons: 1. They have no plans to bring them back. 2. They are focusing on other stuff atm and plan to bring them back later. 3. They are unable to bring them back with the current system (possible via how relics work/code). I wish all those who miss the old rune affects luck, whether it be that they can find alternatives or that they do come back in the future.
  4. You just further my point with this behaviour. I'm not saying discussions or complaints on this issue shouldn't be addressed but the shear volume of threads on the same thing when there are already threads on the subject that people can post in instead is starting to create unnecessary spam.
  5. Its getting to the point that these repeated threads are just seen as constant whining that others are beginning to get annoyed with. I get that you guys miss you rune summons or whatever but I don't see this getting anywhere (or at least not anywhere soon).
  6. If you can get qdps herald you will still have stab, its not as great as hfb but it works just as good.
  7. Lets put this in simplest way possible as to why they won't be making gw3 Does gw2 still make money? Yes Will it cost a lot of money to make gw3? Yes Would the cost of making gw3 cost more than maintaining gw2? Yes nuff said
  8. Oh boy, another thread complaining about a system been in the game for many years because it doesn't suit their "needs" and are unwilling to put in the effort to actually ensure they can access the content they want to do despite many people giving advice and explaining how things work. You said it yourself, it's too much effort for you so you'd rather play pvp. Problem solved right? Let's be honest here, most people that want things to change with lfg is because they're reluctant to actually do the research, looks for guilds and/or join a discord, and play with appropriate gear/builds for the content they are aiming for. The "create your own squad" response is a result of those giving such advice getting pushback and little results from those complaining. If you want things to change why not be the one to change things right? Or alternatively just move on.
  9. As someone who plays li builds you can do 20-30k thats only requires 5 buttons and prioritising one or 2 skills. cough cough mech cough. These are great because not only can you do decent damage it also allows you to focus more on the mechanics of the fight, which is usually the more challenging part of end game content. Main problem, outside of the dps checks on certain fights, is people lack of understanding and/or willingness to do these mechanics. Take CO for example many people don't do the arrow stack causing other players to die and possibly the fail of the whole fight. The point of a CM is that its suppose to challenge on several factors e.g. dps, using certain skills for certain mechanics, more damaging mechanics to avoid/be aware of, stacking, positioning (this can be running to an area of saftey), and so on. Of course there are a few challenging content without dps (some jumping puzzles and mini dugeons require problem solving skills in form of puzzles, mount races, mini games/activities etc), though these are more solo/competing. This is a combat based game so it makes sense that combat would be a main element to most content.
  10. Since you say there are other posts on this topic and nothing has been done as of yet it may be the case that's its not possible to implement (most likely due to the spaghetti code.)
  11. Here are the drop rates results by player experimentation: https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Black_Lion_Chest/Drop_rate Based on these statistics the drop is 0.08 (uncommon item) ÷ 20 = 0.004 per key Please note: this is a calculation based on the provided information and should not be taken as 100% accurate but as a guideline.
  12. Depends on what you're looking for in the game so I'll ask a few questions to maybe narrow it down a bit more. Do you like story aspect of the game? If so would you rather play in order or happy to just go with what's most exciting/interesting? Do you play pve, pvp or wvw most? You interest in having best build/gear? Are mounts important to you? Do you have griffon and/or skyscale? You enjoy/play endgame content? (Raids, fractals, strikes) Are you interested in legendary weapons or armour? If so which would you prefer?
  13. I was just letting people know that if they do spend keys and never get the drop they can buy it later on with statuettes providing they have enough.
  14. Ok I see now what is fueling your thoughts and opinions on this matter. This seems more based on personal experience than being a factual and statistical discussion looking to improve the state of the game. Not to say that some of the points you made aren't correct but you also seem unwilling to consider other points that don't align with your point of view.
  15. Well based on the statistics its unlikely you'll get 6cweavers. Also you not gonna count other factors such as self sustainability, Rotation difficulty, etc? And currently with power creep you can in fact argue that its ok for other classes to do lower damage than others. Is it fair? Maybe not but it's how it is atm. Also it's not like you see 6 Condi druid squads yet it's currently the top dps in game. Just saying that other factors are probably also the reason that cweaver is not played as much as other classes, not just its lack of cc.
  16. Though I don't disagree that some of the balancing on classes is not equal I don't think the lack of cc is the main reason why a certain class is used more than others. You reference wingman data that weaver is played less than virt, but this doesn't exactly say that CC is the main or only reason fo this. In most fights where cc is needed it's either the case that other classes cover the cc enough that classes that lack cc are not really a issue or that sacrificing damage is more important than not doing enough cc. The only time this would be a issue is if you try to solo content that requires very high need for both cc and damage, which in most cases aren't meant to be solo'd.
  17. Any purchased bag slots used on a character are bound to that character. Bag slots that are available per character with as basic are 3 for free to play character, 5 for fully unlocked account (via purchasing a expansion I believe). Any additional Bag slots added to character's beyond this are restricted to this character and are lost when the character is deleted.
  18. One thing to note is that the exclusive items in blc end up in the black lion statuette vendor once it is no longer in the chest. Each key guarantees at least 1 statuette per chest so providing you have enough statuettes and are patient you can still get the outfit with spending keys.
  19. Forgive me if I'm wrong but doesn't the game give a warning that you're about to replace/destroy the current rune whe applying the legendary rune?
  20. They are only obtained via salvaging runes and unidentified gear and are not a guaranteed drop. You can also combine 3 charms in mystic forge with philosophers stone to get a random charm. Charm of Skill is the hardest to get. I think (at least before this increase) it was cheaper to buy them from tp that try luck with salvaging.
  21. It's one, if not, the most easiest obtainable legendary item, and you actually get a extra legendary with the legendary rune on top. I'm also of the opinion it is worth it but can only do our best to give people advice and let them decide.
  22. But yes basically it will be a item of convenience, it's down to the person to decide if it's beneficial to them or not
  23. Boxes or actual relics? edit:nvm this got answered before I responded Some of the meta relics aren't in the boxes and usually require a lot of mats to buy. They also get soul bound on use. Legendary relics will make it so you can change what relics you have on the fly providing its one of the free chest relics or a relic that has been unlocked from doing the achievements. It will be usable on all characters per equipment template so no soul bound blocks. It also gets put into the Legendary storage (whatever it was called) so no more clutter of relics like the 30 taking up your bank space.
  24. Wait, so you think there's no dedicated roles for raids and that only raid mechanics are self healing and dodging? So gonna ignore special roles like kiting, Pylons, tanks, reflect, boonhealers and boondps? Also ignore special actions keys, positioning, cc, reflect, player specific targeted aoes etc? Am I understanding this right? Dungeons also need some level of awareness of your skills and certain mechanics but yeah they don't require specific roles.
  25. Doubt they will invest creating skins that can only be used by one class. Apart from the ranger pets which even you don't really fully categorise as really skin, all the skins you mentioned can be used across multiple classes. Skins are source of revenue for anet so they will create ones that they can ensure will generate a stable income.
