    I find mech and spectre to be pretty dull. I enjoy Bladesworn, but then I enjoy all the warrior specs. Forums are mostly going to be complaints, can’t really trust them.

    I had quietly enjoyed VB during bauble week for years, training new toons on the vets that spawn in the ruins by the adventure pit. Maybe another player would join now and then but it was a nice active farm, taking down a vet every few minutes. Maybe 8 to 12 a round if you were lucky, since you might need to solo the daytime event sequence. I knew it was doomed when the standing farmers glommed on to it. Its still fun to train on the vets though.

    I like this loot system much better than the older style where you spam instances over and over until you get ‘your’ drop. However, this does lead to the problem where everyone is focused on gold per hour and is less willing to break that routine for something else.

    Well the sweet young things are getting older too and will get to enjoy the slide down. I recall when this all started in the 80s we had computing pros confidently predicting that as coders aged, they would naturally address issues older folks face. They really had no idea they would be replaced in a few years with a younger set with no perspective on these issues. So the worm turns.

    I would not waste a moment listening to players on this forum if I were a dev. There is occasionally some great stuff here but its drowned out by the silly complaints and conspiracy theories.

    I get the feeling this was all set up before they realized the engine can’t support constantly visible bots? I can totally believe no one told marketing to catch up with that.

    I do enjoy creating a look to match certain weapon skins. Its not a substitute for weapon dyes, but its still an entertaining bit of fashion play.

    MMOs were created back when we were all friendlier and more trusting of strangers. I can’t say the current attitude is progress.
