  1. While a no shirt option may work for Human or Norn males, I'd prefer something more tasteful than the human female's bright yellow underwear.
  2. I've tried this mission twice (without any special tactics), and have found this mission to be bugged. After destroying the 2nd tower, Tonn kind of just stands there and admire's the scenery. He won't move to the third tower. The other Pact NPC's will move with me through the cave to the Sylvari Camp, however. EDIT: I managed to complete the story instance. This time, before collecting Tonn and his team, I braved the caves and killed everything on the beaches.
  3. Musical instruments, mainly because if they're played halfway decently you know they're probably using a macro.
  4. I generally use mount-specific keybinds, so it doesn't really bother me. It can be a lifesaver when you're in a hostle area (in pve) and need to change mounts quickly.
  5. I think if warrior or thief got a mainhand focus, they could use it like a knuckleduster. Or the thief could use magic that converts gold in the players wallet into damage. That could be fun.
  6. Expense be damned; we're consumers, not investers. Let us dream, naysayers. B) Still, I've played gw1 for a bit recently - I'm fairly sure the reason why the current Gw1 players stick around is mainly because the playerbase is contrary and can't deal with change (though, ironically, I do think Gw1 is an improved version of the current Runescape EOC system - so in comparison to other games, it has aged fairly well compared to other games on the market). Nothing short of bringing back a remastered pre-searing would bring them to the present.
  7. This is subjective - I personally kind of like the human female voice acting, but it kind of feels like I’m being locked down the “dignity” personality route when I would prefer a more “charming” or “ferocious” character… so for me, the voice are “passable”. I personally can't stand some of the other accents like Nolan North (Human Male) and Jennifer Hale (Female Sylvari), even though I’ve enjoyed their other accents in other works. I can’t really explain why, but their voices just make me cringe, so I tend to avoid these characters.
  8. Do these count? uwu They're probably my "favourite" tracks so far.
  9. My favourite quote comes from the Tybalt personal story with the pirates. Demmi Beetlestone: Thank the goddess Lyssa! I was starting to think the order had forgotten me. Do you have a plan to get us out of this place alive?Character name: Sort of. The idea starts with "run for it" and generally goes downhill from there. Come on!
  10. I like it. Simple and no hefty shoulderpiece - I would want this!
  11. I'd like to see the Elonian Elementalist set. Sure, it might not be the best season to wear it, but it's always summer in the desert~
  12. I was always under the impression Anet struggled with the base game's code, which is why they won't touch content like Dungeons or the wardrobe armour system. If Anet had to start from scratch to make these systems more "future proof", I'd be behind that.
  13. I always seem to come back to Thief or Druid - I like mobile dps classes or support classes. I dislike Necromancer because I dislike zombies or the colour green (which also means I dislike Stinkbeast). It sounds like a stupid reason when I put it on paper, but it definately affects my impressions of the class. The fact that I can faceroll over PvE content with the class further cements my hatred for it, since it doesn't matter how well I play - I'll always be carried by the Necromancer class.
  14. I guess a server chat could be cool - that way I could see when people wanted to do some late night wvw raids (or tune in on a certain fun troll on my server who is susprisingly fun to be around). I don't see much benefit in a world chat though; as stated above, it would look like a twitch stream.
  15. Everyone has their own idea of perfect. If we don't complain, how can we ever receive what we want?
  16. What I hate is when the map expires just as you join (meaning you have to wait a full minute before you jump, or exit and reload again). To be honest, I'm not sure how I feel about making the JP easier or a solo instance though - when interesting people gather at a piece of hard content, it can lead to some very fun conversations at the startline xD
  17. I was never overly fond of Stronghold, mainly because nobody ever tries to play it seriously. I fear that even if we did get another game mode (or revamped old ones), it would probably recieve the same treatment.
  18. It would be cool if Anet added something like the ocean barriers (you don't feel you need to go any further in this direction). Being kicked for one raptor jump too many is kind of annoying.
  19. If capes are of the same quality as GW1 or the cape-like backpack provided in PoF, I'd rather not see them added. They clip like crazy.
  20. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Waypoint When in doubt, read the wiki!
  21. To be fair, what is the wiki for if not to store all of the information we can't remember?
  22. Perhaps Anet could take a page out of Bioware's playbook, and try timing conversations to run (or be interupted) as we run through the mission. One of the most annoying things for me is when everyone stops to converse, even while the world is ending around them, and the level borders prevent you from running to the next event for no valid reason. Narratively, I prefer Anet’s current setup when compared to personal story, which was (usually) only fit to skip. But the arbitrary “stop and converse” mechanics can sometimes get on my nerves, especially on repeat play-throughs.
  23. I don't think European or US want OCE players to leave, because otherwise they wouldn't have anyone to beat at sPvP. :3 I'd probably join an OCE server if it were released.
  24. Why don't we go one step further and kill all of the named cast. Surely this will have an impact on someone.
  25. Idk about you, but I tend to find the scepter is way more reliable than the bow in PvE - just keep laying down those symbols. The scepter also has access to the focus or torch, which has a lot more damage and utility than what the bow can provide. The scepter, in its current state, is probably one of guardian's better weapons. I don't see the point of this thread. Also, keep in mind that Guardian IS a heavy armour spellcaster. If you want to show off your brawn, why not have a go playing Warrior?
