Repetitious movement of that type can be annoying however since you’re somewhat afk and don’t need to see the screen you can angle your camera so it’s not visible and/or you can open up a panel and move it to block the motion. They’re just playing the game and unless they come to the forum to read the thread where someone complains about it they’re very unlikely to know that it bothers some people. Expecting strangers to change whatever harmless thing they’re doing based on your dislikes isn’t going to get you very far. It’s better if you yourself do something to change what you see.

I haven’t seen any posts about race changes by ANet after 2013, however the posts they made at that time were a definite no. Usually ANet will say ‘something is on the table but it’s not something they’re working on right now’. It’s pretty rare for them to say ‘no, we will not’. Which makes me think that the choice of race and story is something that’s hard baked into the character creation. As for the argument that players can skip the story, your characters very first appearance in the game is inside the first story instance so that’s not an option. Anet’s posts on this subject (admittedly very old, but also very definite) 1) I am afraid that the team does contemplate different possibilities and new features for the future but this one is not among those. 2) There are a lot of far-reaching consequences of allowing one character to play through every race’s personal story or equip any cultural armor/weapons. 3) Thanks for asking. It might be someone using the trading post as a bank. You can store money in the trading post like putting money in a separate savings account. For example, I store 500 gold in the trading post as a buy order for a Legendary weapon. It keeps me from spending it on impulse purchases and I can pull it out whenever I need 500 gold to buy something.

ANet has commented on dueling at least once and said that while it’s not impossible it would take a lot of work to insert competition into cooperative areas. It would probably be impossible to add a competitive features without separating it from the cooperative mode PvE maps, which would mean the duelers would need to leave PvE in some way. Since they already have ways to duel by leaving PvE and since this doesn’t seem to be overwhelming popular, it not a feature that is wanted enough for ANet to prioritize.

The main thing I’ve picked up from this thread is that players with ugly chars can be banished from the game. By extension I have decided that one player has the most beautiful char of all the game and can therefore decide that all other chars are too ugly to play. Having looked over my chars I realized I am the player with the most beautiful char because each of my chars is more beautiful than the others and definitely better looking than anyone else’s. Which means.... All of you have been banished from the game! That includes you, OP.

None for me. Whenever I care about having Profession X as another race I buy a character slot then either level it or use tomes to level. I’ve already done it multiple times to get professions on a different race. I would think that a race change option is mostly important to people who only play one character.

I’ll vote for the meta of Hot combined with the difficulty level for solo players of PoF. PoF is just plain boring with forgettable events that are hard to find, and unless there is an daily events on the map, mostly you’ll be doing them alone. At least with HoT there always seem to be other people playing and doing events to progress the meta.

The dailies, at least, are probably auto generated. You might contact the people who update that part of the wiki and see if they can give you the complete list.

I miss both the save draft and the preview. The save draft was useful on long posts to save in case of accidental refresh and preview was useful for a last check for errors before posting.

Can the forum be tweaked so that edits aren’t so limited time wise? Right now the edit button disappears after a couple of minutes.
