nope. This is an alien world where humans are not an indigenous species. There’s no reason to believe that their biology follows the one we know. just look at the Charr if you want to get into a biology discussion. Carnivores on earth don’t have horns like grazing animals such as deer and goats. Different biology and pathways. also, Norn can transform into giant birds, etc.

On earth. this is a completely different world. A world where sentient plant people are born full grown from trees and creatures from a carnivore line have horns. One can infer from that that the biology is different.

Maybe male Norns also nurse their young. They’re not human after all and don’t need to follow human biology.

I wonder how separate the two economies would be. Can players use guild banks to trade between accounts in the different economies? Is there a cool down between opting in or opting out or will the account be forced to remain in once opting in? Can my other account mail stuff to it and it mail stuff back? Can players do the Ley line Event on both accounts and earn mystic coins on both and trade them between accounts? Will both accounts get log in rewards and trade them between accounts?

I think you missed my point. The OP said the maps would have a new, blank Trading Post. The trading post as is right now is world wide and has all servers in EU and NA. To have a separate trading post then it would need to be a new, separate system.

the devs would have to code it so it’s a separate system from the EU and NA servers. I doubt there will be enough players to support a trading post or to do events. What exactly is gained by playing on mostly empty maps and not having many items in the trading post?

I haven’t done it in a few years but from my memory I get behind the tents and stay back there. 3 or 4 flags are reachable in that area. However I wouldn’t want it changed. If I had to suffer through it on my way to map completion then everyone has to suffer through it. and get off my lawn.

When someone is playing on a beta char they are not playing on their real account. They are playing on a temporary account that is a copy of their real account. Nothing a player does while on the beta char affects the real account.

I think people would just switch to complaining about that emoji. The only way to stop all forum emoji complaints is to remove all except the 2 positive ones, which is a possibility as the 2 negative ones don’t add to the discussions in the threads.

I want to earn Legendary gear by harvesting trees in Cursed Shore. Unfortunately ANet won’t unlock this for me. i guess you can’t always get what you want and sometimes you have to play the game as designed to get your shinies.

If they had shared, per character, harvesting tools then they should be able to have per character wardrobe choices so that they could be customized for each character instead of one look fits all. This could encourage buying more gemstore tools for the wardrobe instead of buying one set to use for all chars.

Back when they told us that guild wars was no longer going to be expanded upon because they were making a new game they said that the Hall of Monuments rewards was their gift to Guild Wars players for supporting them for so many years. This request is comparable to ANet making Guild Wars 3 and giving GW2 players gifts as compensation and thanks for leaving all their accomplishments and purchases behind when they transferred to GW3, and players who never played GW2 asking for these gifts because they wanted them too but didn’t want to play GW2 to earn them.

that’s imagining a motive from your solitary perspective and not considering other people’s perspectives. my level 80s have a carefully picked out and dyed set of armor to have a specific look, but I also like to throw on an outfit for a quick change to some other look that’s not available in the armor selection or for a holiday or just because I’m bored and want to look different for a while.

You don’t actually lose any currency if you spend it on your beta chars because the account they use is a snapshot of your real account.
