    I think they'll try to make all the new weapons good so they can be an expansion selling point.

    I was only focusing on the "turning humans into Mursaat" part of it, maybe they aren't even willing hosts but it could be a way that Mursaat propogate themselves idk. Pretty sure Mindflayers morph a lot of the host's body too.

    Maybe Mursaat reproduce like mindflayers and take over hosts and were just using the ascension ritual thing to get willing hosts.

    I think the "does more damage when closer" thing was already done on Engi rifle too. Tbh they probably could have gotten away with Warrior having the assault rifle style that engi got with the new AA.

    Idk I thought it was fine but most of the GW1 and core stuff was either super forgettable for me or stood out for how bad it was.

    Aurene's VA never really bothered me personally, most of the VA that does kinda bother me was in GW1 and core. Though some of the awful VA work in factions was at least fun to laugh at.

    I'm assuming all the weapons they add will be pretty good so they can be a selling point for the expansion.

    What is more likely to kill their popularity is people thoughtlessly burning themselves out on them. I'm sure everyone taking a more measured approach will still do them, especially with the structure of weekly incursions and the wizard's vault including them.

    I've only been doing the weekly incursions and whenever they appear on my dailies I'll do one.

    People are rushing too much for something that won't be out for months and we don't even have the full acquisition methods for.

    Two handed axe would be redundant with how they've already made it a skin. I think water weapons on land is the most they're likely to do and I doubt they will now as much as I would like thrown spears as a new 1h ranged option.

    I usually call it overstimulation, maybe that's more of a thing that happens to autistic people though.
