  1. Relic of Resistance as described, and Relic of Febe are now so similar in practical function making Resistance the better choice in Blob content in WvW. While it's nice that your metrics probably showed you the popularity of the support chorno traits in WvW, but what makes the things annoying is the increased prevalence of Chaos Aura (e.g. from using certain traits, and spamming chaos fields). This alone makes reset nights even more laggy as now it only takes 2 blobs of chronobrands (the common name of the build) to produce similar lag of the classic 3 blobs at garrison. Furthermore, the aura itself should be nerfed if you intend to keep it's uptime so high currently. It should either randomly inflict one of it's three conditions, or randomly apply one of it's 3 boons...but not both (may help with lag). Having it do Weakness+Protection is too much damage mitigation (even better than Rite of the Dwarf in a sense but with less effort), which is hilariously effective to stand in place for some rather stagnant gameplay in WvW. It's certainly non-intuitive gameplay for any new players that entered WvW during the beta events, and who will most likely nope out there after seeing this current 'meta.' Probably should have Overheat's total damage be spread out over 2-3 packets along with arc divider but now I'm asking for too much as we'd need to also look at the sustain things (like barrier for example) that those two high dps bursts were arms racing against. 😧

  3. I think the charr guards used to rez players, although in my old age remembering is always factual. NPCs did revive fallen players for a time. D: If you die at spawn (somehow), the NPC you spawn on at the waypoint will rez you.Necro can KMS with blood is power (and some other self afflicted conditions). I don't think it works in spawn though. D:

  6. Not sure it's true for all ANET tags, but I think the WvW devs can ignore queues. D:
  7. They already have the dual attack on weapon skill 3 (when duel wielding). They could probably tag weapon skill 2 as a "lead attack," and weapon skill 4 and/or 5 as a "offhand." Probably a bit late to do this...after 8 or so years. I wasn't a fan of the hard lock on chaining in GW1 like you say too. At any rate, you're better off starting a more focused topic on that than this current one. D:

  9. I absolutely LOVE that ANET never gave any cooldown to Auspicious Anguish. Especially love they got rid of damage on CCs. I mean I'm nearly invincible in random blobs from condis, and even more so when those silly necros fear mark me! Pffft, thanks for the clear you silly scourges. Getting tickled by random CCs? I appreciate the free cleanse buddy! Thank goodness this trait never ended up like, Pain Response, Smiter's Boon, Shrug It Off, Burning Fire, or any other condi cleanse trait with a cooldown. Did I forget to mention the free boons too from Auspcious Anguish? Brilliant! Commander Mesmer here I come! D:
  10. Don't go T1 imo (e.g. BG/SBI links). Too many mismatching coverage timezones makes it boring. D:

  15. I don't know. Probably need to complain to ANET to update Tooltips. I don't see the 10 second cooldown in game, only the break bar related cooldown. D:
  16. Then fix that? D: Yes, by removing downstate :) For completeness. Changing downstate won't change the "monumental task" to get them down in the first place. Sounds to me like a balance issue causing players to make a Meta-build(s) that OP finds problematic. Not sure I'd try to apply No-Downstate like it was flex tape to everyone's perceived problems, but that's my opinion. OP seems to think it will "COUNTER" zergs, so to each their own. D:
  17. If you want to be bored during EU time on SBI, then yeah. He can join Lord Commander Indo's blob flipping empty objectives from random pugs, but that's a bit pointless. EU timezone is meh on NA servers. May as well go play EU servers IMO. D:

  20. Why the hell would anyone play a competitive game/mode with skilled play being rewarded as not being a, if not THE primary concern? At the very least, why should there ever be mechanics that actively work against promoting people to do better and being rewarded for it? That's like saying pro sports should solely be based on a raffle of random civilians and not athletic accomplishments. That makes absolutely no sense lol. If you don't want to win by being better at the game than your opponent, why are you playing player versus player games/formats at all?... Everyone deserves a participation ribbon! Product of the times, I guess. Is the ribbon the next currency? D:
  21. Oh don't get me wrong, not a fan of the boon ball either, I didn't get the point of reducing the boon conversion and rips since we had wayyyyyyyy to many boons. If you took this as a point to that, please don't. No if anything you will see posts from me that I am not a fan of stack meta and would prefer collision with all that comes with that. That alone would address some of the boon ball issues since you would be more limited in application. Edit: plus I liked the strategic play that collision grants, being out of position with collision has a much higher price tag when you can't just run thru your side out of the line of fire. Funny thing that. Collision. They had it in GW1, but admittedly despite not having a real z-axis (real jumping not a /jump emote) for movement it tended to cause rubber-banding on the client side of things. D:
  22. ^ Truth. Engi has 100% garbage downed state skills. Really bad..especially in WvW. Anet should be ashamed of themselves. SMH... Idk. I think it's a brilliant idea to pull enemies closer to get it over with. D: lol A cyanide capsule would be more merciful...Only if it gets upgraded with Elixir traits. D:
