I think there's only been once or twice I had trouble buying gems in-game but it's good to have another option when it happens. I wish they had a bigger range of in-game items on the website too. I've sometimes missed limited time sales and special offers because I was away and couldn't log in, when that happens it would be nice to have the option to buy it through the website so it'll be there waiting for me when I can get in-game. 6 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And they've given out literally every episode for free over the last year, and they've given out free IB episodes multiple times, same for Season 4 (on release, on dragonfall release, on dragon cycle season), so it's possible if you're patient you'll just get them for free. Yep, and you can also see a 'complete collection' that professes to give you everything you need to experience a 'living world' with no distinction for new customers that 'Living World' is a completely different thing that's sold separately. I have all of them, but the point is that they've added a way to buy game currency to their shop, but not a way to buy the game itself in full (Core+Expansions+LW). Depends, but mainly no. 80808 means the transaction was blocked by ArenaNet and you need to contact support. It'll happen for example if you try to buy something while using an "unsafe" IP or your account was inactive for a few months. PaySafe/iDeal works perfectly fine on the website and not at all in the in-game gem shop. For me anyway. It's only the credit cards that give the 80808 /I'm guessing this is their 'fix' for in-game stuff not working for 6 months and it is really weird they didn't say a word on adding gems for sale to the site. No good for me its in USD conversion rates alone destroy any hope of me using that.. $50.38 Australian Dollars for 2800 gems no chance. If they added AUD i'd use their site. Why do you think i was looking forward to the Steam version as it gives AUD but they added only new accounts only which screwed me..
