Taking a camp every 8-9 minutes in WvW for 4 hours is unbearable and unfair from Anet. Right now without any expensive boosts you can get +105% Reward Track progress, so, yes, less than 4 hours. It's tedious but not too bad. I usually listen to some music or a podcast to keep myself entertained while waiting for the camps to be flipped back. Heck, I even have an extra GoB right now and I'm not even sure how that happened. Also, skirmish tickets you get are pretty useful if you want to level elite spec on an alt or pick up some extra infusions. Right now without any expensive boosts you can get +105% Reward Track progress, so, yes, less than 4 hours. If you grab all boosters you can get 155%, which makes it ~3 hours. Just sit in either homes or EBG garrison and "Escort" dolyaks every 4-5min. How many seconds to you need to stand next to a dolyaks again for the bronze event? 15 seconds? Perfect for watching youtube/twitch/Netflix on your second monitor. No fighting. No danger. No player interaction whatsoever. DoomNexus.5324 Posted November 28, 2023 Share Posted November 28, 2023 (edited) That's why I stockpiled the reward track potions from WvW and PvP dailies and always set tracks active that give game mode-specific rewards, even if I don't need it right now. Daily-capped reward track progression for quick and easy tasks. Perfect to accumulate over time as you can just go to your bank and get it immediately, but I think these potions are now unobtainable? So doesn't really help you either, sry.. Another reason why the new daily system sucks tho.. Maybe you could consider a world transfer and/or only play when you find a zerg you can follow. I play a roamer class/build but even I prefer to stay near a zerg and join their zerg fights or help do objectives. Because thats boring for me.. the GoE is the only thing i need for my next 3 legendaries. It takes almost 20x the time needed for GoB.. Wvw can be really fun. Join a tag. The whole concept of "I only want to play with my specific WvW guild" is world restructuring, which has already been going through multiple betas. Alliances are literally just the idea that multiple separate guilds can create one united WvW guild, except that *surprise* they have the exact same population cap as a regular guild. You can either tough it up by playing 4~ hours straight, or let it accumalate through 40 days of a few mins of WvW gameplay per day.
