Art Issues: Characters, Weapons, Armor - [Merged]

Recommended Posts

As a male sylvari engineer (and only when choosing this race and gender)  the function gyro in your right when you are a scrapper get stuck visually inside your rifle/ shortbow and even some shields, this only happen with the male sylvari because of the position of the gyro, please just move it a bit up or to the right.

When i swap my equipment template while my weapon is drawn to a template with the legendary spear, it will show the spears aura on the character, even while on land the entire time.

  • this only happens to the few human (f) characters i have.
  • it will remain on weapon swap/stow or using bundles
  • it goes away by swapping equipment template with stowed weapons again, mounting/dismounting or going into the water.

Light Obsidian Armor Visual Bug

  • Found on Male Human Mesmer.
  • Occurs at all maps.
  • Issue: Equipping the armor set disconnects your character's head from their neck.  There is a visible seam along the jaw line, and when your character turns their head or extends their neck there is a noticeable gap between the head and the neck.  The head is literally floating and you can see through the neck.  Using alternate light armor helm skins does not alleviate this problem.

Screenshots showing the issue here.

I have also encountered this problem - however I have discovered it is attached to the legendary chestpiece skin.

  • I am also on Male Human Mesmer.
  • The screenshots I will be providing are in the raid aerodrome but it occurs on all maps since it is toon specific.
  • The toon looks normal if you are standing still, but when you equip weapons that force the body to move in contrary direction with the head, or when you're gliding, the visual glitch makes itself known.

Screenshot of full obsidian light armor (proving the glitch exists for multiple people if player Niche is also having the same problem)

Screenshot of transmogged legendary armor (proving the glitch is only on the legendary skins graphically)

Screenshot of full obsidian light armor BUT with transmogged chestpiece (proving the glitch only shows up if you wear the legendary chestpiece skin).

It's not a client side problem since my friends also saw my toon's visual glitch in game.

A little feedback on medium Obsidian Leggings on charr female - some normals on the tail get scrambled and some vertices aren't connected between tail base and the rear resulting with a gap. Also, the tip of the 3rd dagger just above the tail has a bit of the weight assigned to it instead of the upper body.

Same armour, hood, asura. But now I noticed whatever sneaked onto the eyes, also affected eyelashes.

Then there's glove, the thumb rig, both sides:

This thing happened to me twice the other day,
I met two people that were having texture issues.
At first I thought that it could be someone hacking (wich would be unlikely),
Or I am facing a bug.

The reason why I suspect a hack however is someone that I already reported that said something about "a bug", trying to be funny.
It made me think of me being threatened by a hacker.

I've noticed that projectiles have a significant offset from where they were supposed to appear to where they are currently appearing. Example 1 | Example 2Example 3

I've also noticed that the skills:  Ring of Earth, Grinding Stone  (while having Quickness boon) and Lava Font have had their animations a little bit clunky lately:

Also, the Shatterstone skill audio doesn't match the animation. Example (the video is possibly a little loud)

  • Coalescence of Ruin: Fixed an issue that could cause this skill's effect to appear underneath the player.

And lastly, the skill Coalescence of Ruin, which had its effect fixed lately, still appears underneath the player.

Sorry for the duplicated post but only today I saw this thread.

I have noticed that skysage's helm clips on female Charr regardless of what bodytype and height you have on your character. I did also check that it does not clip on male charr, only female. It is only on the neck but it kinda sucks since you view your character from behind most of the time.

https://imgur.com/a/s9ZipLQ here is a gallery displaying the issue.

Not sure if it's just me, my computer isn't that great, but sometimes when I go into water, when I come out the other side, my armor skins are borked.
Example of Underwater Fashion Change
This has happened on multiple characters with all armor weights, in PvE and in WvW. It always happens after exiting water.

This is still happening for me. I go in the water and my fashion reskins itself, like it puts a different texture over the current armor shape. Also, my skin goes invisible or black.
If I change maps in WvW, it reverts to normal.
