Is stonemist a keep?

I was just wondering that if i cap/defend stonemist does it count captured/defended keep too? I should farm stonemist because gw2effiency rank very bad like 4500 or something, but probably not worth it if it doesn't count.

Not. It is - as others mentioned (and as the name suggests) a "castle". There are even achievements (I think daily objective defender?) that use as explanatoin "castle, keep, tower" - if you do any of them. Keep really only meens the keeps in each corner in EB and the 3 per borderlands.

If you look at the wvw map details for who owns what structures you see smc is a different category.

It's unique and counts as its own objective which awards more points per tick than a keep would.

stonemist is the place where i can afk on my power ranger and buff myself with 25 might, take cloaking waters or use my own stealth , and then 1 shot people 100- 0 of there mount, if i fail i can use unblockable or i can hide inside and wait for my cd's kek

while it is absurd that the made a own category of keep for it, people are correct. it does NOT count for daily keep and has its own acchievement for caping, therefore is not a keep.
