What is your favorite weapon type in GW 2?

Do you have a favorite weapon type that you enjoy using more than the others? From the way your character uses it to the design or the skills on it. Whether you use it on only one character or multiple characters.

My favorite has always been the one-handed sword. It's fast, effective, and versatile. I love the way swords look and handle. It fits my style of combat which is being quick and nimble, weaving in and out of combat, evading damage, and striking hard and precisely at the right times. I love how almost all the characters can use it and I'm really hoping the Necro can finally get a sword by the next expansion.

My other favorite weapons include the staff, longbow, shortbow, scepter, focus, warhorn, and daggers.

UW weps I like the spear - speargun on eng - trident mainly on Ele.

I've always been a pistol person since 2000.Don't think there's an actual "favourite" in weapons for me in this game.

Just the weapon type. Sword, GS, Rifle, Pistol, Axe, ect...

Staff, I always prefer to play character that uses magic and staff is the only weapon that feel really magical for meFor the design, I like the Timekeeper Staff (This design make my character looks like Time Wizard) xD

I really like the Torch. I have many. = )

Great Sword, so much so I refuse to main any other weapon (except Hammer on Guardian).

Land Spear

Staff, focus and scepter are my favorites. Out of all of them, I think staff is my very favorite.

Rifle, its potential usefulness has been suppressed for 5 years and counting.

Dagger, well, most of its class iterations anyways. They always manage to make it snappy.

Since I play mainly caster, my two favorite weapon types are staff and scepter. Aside of those 2, I also enjoy playing axe with my warrior (x2) and with my necro (with focus).

Aside of this, my preferred weapons are my legendary: I never get enough of enjoying their visual effects. I have Bifrost, Kudzu, Dreamer, Quip, Minstrel and Meteorlogicus. Out of those, Meteorlogicus and Kudzu are my favorite.

Dagger. It's closest to unarmed combat, which has always been an interest of mine. My favorite individual weapon in GW was the Brass Knuckles, a dagger skin. What I would enjoy in GW2 would be a dagger skin that functions the way the the Torch Skin "A Touch of Madness" does, putting an energy effect on the hand.

Swords are good, so are greatswords, daggers, pistols, rifles and staves. Pretty much if it's pointy, shooty or magicy it's good.

My favorite weapon types have always been the classics: staff for magic users and 1h-sword for melee fighters. :)

In falling order:1h sword with Guardian. I would always liked to have the bolt skin, but it is too expensive to buy and the collection too mindcrushing to make it. One day a Lightsaber wielding character is nearly an obligation for me. :)Fractal Torch with guardian. Blue flames!
