First of all, I did my whole story from personal story (which ends after meeting the Destiny's edge in Lions Arch), core Tyria, Living World Seasons, HoT and PoF alone. I didn't have any issue clearing the story as relevant with exotic soldier gear. But, OP is talking about hero points in HoT and several POIs locked behind a meta event. For Hero Points, there are plenty of commanders running HP trains because the daily root can drop 2 - 3 gold reclaimed weapons. In terms of meta events, all these events are an important part of the progression of your GW2 gameplay for achievements, crafting, legendary gear, etc. Please remember, the game actually opens up after you finished at least up to Icebrood Saga. Also, join discord servers like Overflow or any other organized guild. THIS IS AN MMO. If you try to have a single player experience, there is much to lose.

We get fishing and skiff, both aren't underwater. I don't want to craft 3 weights of legendary rebreathers. Already crafted 3 weight sets of PVE legendaries. Now poor.

Why not right-click on the friend's name on the friend's list to mail? Do you know someone can technically create the same account name with a different number, right?

Have you heard of something called an Asuran Waypoint? What you are trying to do is to play an MMO as a single-player game or a 2 man co-op. Guild Wars 2 is neither. There are guilds, map chat, LFG to call for help, yet you want the devs to create a single player game?

I'm not sure how you define veteran status, I created this account in Feb 2020 and now has cleared all raids wings including CMs (except Dhuum), FotM 100, crafted all 3 weights of PVE raid gear, a couple of legendary weapons, Ad Infi, and currently working on vision and others. It does take a lot of effort and time invested in the game, but any new player can reach legendary gear within 1 year or so.

It will come. I preordered EoD when it came out and it took around 4 - 5 days for gems to deliver. They are having some issues to resolve. Give it time!

Did you forget the title of your post? And you want the people who crafted legendary weapons also "work" on the new stats that they would release in EOD? Is this a joke?

Do you even understand how much does it cost to craft a set of legendary gear? I crafted 3 sets and spent so much of my time and money on them. Your post shows how misunderstood you're about the legendary gear. Starters, legendary gear wasn't released in 2012.

No. You have to understand why the level 80 booster in the first place. It is there for anyone to experience any class at level 80 and chose if they like the gameplay. It is a special functionality within the game. ANet has NOT done any false advertising. This is the first time I see someone make a claim like this over the last so many years.

Just give them time. They kept apologizing for the delay and mentioned the high volume of tickets. My advice is to give them time and be patient. With EOD preorder issues, 80 boost issues, gem purchase issues, login server issues are all clogged up. Take a small break. Read some wiki or lore about guild wars 2.

I may have 12 or 13 characters and probably used level 80 instant leveling tickets for all but 2 of those to level up. The one I didn't is my first character, the revenant which is also my strongest class because I had a lot of time to practice various types of gear, face various type of bosses etc. For a long time until I started actively raiding, I had almost no clue how to play other classes effectively and do top 3 dps or provide good support. Guild Wars 2 is almost 9 years old and getting started now means there are so many different avenues players can take to go about doing that. In my personal opinion, trying to rush to 80 isn't a good plan. But, if your friend bored too early in the game, try other gaming modes like WvW or PvP where you can get leveling tickets. I'm pretty sure it clearly says in your story missions, "Next Story Chapter Unlocks at Level N". You may have missed that notification.

What proof are you asking?
